Hi all, I am not able to open the game centre on my ipad! When I click on the icon the screen goes white and all I can see on the screen is the battery icon on top right and internet connection top left. Nothing else happens. Please can anyone

Try closing Game Centre via the iPad's multitasking bar and see if it works when you re-open it :
iOS 7 : double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the Game Centre's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
iOS 6 and below : from the home screen (i.e. not with Game Centre 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Game Centre app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't fix it then you could try a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

The error could be because
1) The URL referenced from RWB (Communictaion Channel) is incorrect.
Try accesing the link directly http://HOST:JAVAPORT/mdt/channelmonitorservlet
If you are able to open the window with out nay error, it means you url referenced from SLD is wrong. Correct your SLD and update the cache.
2) If you are not able to access above URL, it means the java service is not running to accept your request, check in visual admin if any of the services are stopped. Try restarting the same.

You do realize that only you see the photo associated with this correct - nobody else will see your photo - only you will.
You have to add the photo in the contacts app. Locate your vcard and tap Edit. Then tap the area where the photo will be located to add a photo. You can take a photo or choose one from your photos app. -
I am not able to open the settings icon from my old iPAD. When I try to select the settings icon it looks like it's about to launch and open however; it will not stay open. I am trying to transfer all my data from my old iPAD to my new 4th gen iPAD.

I have used Firefox on my computer for several years. Today, after upgrading to the new version, I was not able to open Firefox. I have tried several times uninstalling and re-downloading Firefox. It still will not open! Is the new version not compatible with Windows Vista?

You will have to close firefox.exe with the Windows Task Manager from the "Processes" tab of the WTM since you don't have a widow to close.
The best way to close Firefox is through File > Exit, for those who stuck with the "Firefox" button click on the Firefox button then Exit. It is not perfect but it is a lot better than just closing the window with the "X" in the upper right corner -
I am not able to import photos into Lightroom 5.7. When I select a folder, it doesn't show a preview of the images and the import button is greyed out. ??

When I download certain files(most often exe files), I'm not able to open the source folder anymore when the download is complete. Neither can I execute the exe file. It often forces me to redownload the file in google chrome and then I go to the source folder and right click properties and I have to unblock the file. Only then I'm able to start the exe file.
FYI: I use vista, so that might be the problem by itself...It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
