Hi Anandamoorthi,
There is not much difference between ABAP and ABAP HR.
There are some additional skills required in HR ABAP.
1.Creation of custom Infotypes and enhancements in standard infotypes.(PA and OM).
2.HR data mainly deals with clusters...
3.HR reports uses logically data base.(PNP,PCH)
4.payslip coding and knowing about HR forms.
5.Macro coding like rp-imp-c2-b2 for getting cluster data.

Requirements:
1.     EDI Invoice requires populating bottle UPC number not case UPC in IDOC and also populates customer PO number when invoice billing type is a credit. These changes need to be reflected on EDI invoice (Idoc INVOIC02).
Investigation:
Requirement 1. EDI invoices are populating segment E1EDP19 qualifier 003 based on the unit of measure in the line item. If shipment unit is CSE then it populates CSE upc, if shipment unit is EA then it populates Bottle UPC.
a.     It was found that the UPC populated on the EDI invoice was being read from material master Additional data tab. (Field SMEINH-EAN11). For the EDI invoice, the customers expect the bottle UPC on this column.
Requirement 2. Need to always populate Segment E1EDK02 Qualifier 001 (customer PO) on the INVOIC02 idoc. Standard SAP populates this information only when the billing type is F2 (regular invoice) and if the customer PO was entered in the Sales Order.
                            a) Premier requires this information to be populated in the idoc if the billing type is G2, RE, L2 also.
Solution:
Requirement 1.
       IDOC_OUTPUT_INVOIC function module needs to be changed to always populate the UPC number for the bottle UPC in segment E1EDP19 qualifier 003, field IDTNR. This number is found on the material master Basic data 1 view. Field name is MARA-EAN11.   Please see screenshot of where in the material master to find the bottle UPC.
     a. This change applies to all billing types (F2, G2, L2, RE etc).
       Requirement 2.
             Change IDOC_OUTPUT_INVOIC function module to always populate customer PO information in Segment E1EDK02 qualifier 001, field BELNR.
If billing type is equal to G2, L2, RE and VBRK-XBLNR not equal blanks then make BELNR = VBRK-XBLNR.
Segment: E1EDK02
                              Field: QUAL = 001
                              Field: BELNR = VBRK-XBLNR

How to port a ABAP report into ITS? Please help!

Hi Experts,
 I have a ABAP report that contains a selection screen with 3 select-option elements and a search button. On pressing search button an ALV grid opens with data from a SAP table based on selection screen criteria.
I want to web enable it so that it can be accessed from Enterprise Portal. i will be using IAC iview in Portal.
Now the IAC iview needs my ABAP report to be ported to ITS?
1.How to port it to ITS? What are the steps?
2.In order to port in to ITS do I need to change my ABAP code?
3.Are there any known limitations of porting ABAP reports in ITS? For example Performance, ALV not supported, Table control not supported etc.
4. Does it handle dynamic programming?
5. Are there any documentation for porting report to ITS?
6. How much time effort it will be for porting ABAP reportys to ITS?
To add some more points. SAP transaction iview is not allowed in my organization. Webdynpro/BSP is also not supported. Thats why I am using IAC iview which needs ITS.

step1.create a transaction for ABAPreport in SE93.
step2.Go to transaction SICF and create a service in the following path sap/bc/gui/sap/its.
Check the following Url to create a service.

step3. create a system object setting the following property categories.
 1.Connector
 2.Usermanagement
 3.ITS
 4.WAS
In the usermanagement do the user mapping.
step4. While creating an IAC iview, in the third step for the Internet Application Component (IAC) property give the service name you have created in SICF.
you need not change the abap code. The only limitation while porting abap report in ITS is you cannot view the icons in the tool bar, instead you view the buttons.
ALV is supported. Functionality wise nothing will change except the appearance mainly with the icons.

I have a final yr project by which I can see the picture(whenever I want) of a webcam of a Home PC from my mobile device.
For that I have to write a Java program which will capture the picture from webcam and changed the file format to PNG and then saved it to some directory.Whenever I will run the Java program it will automatically save a picture in the directory and it will do continuously after 5 sec and overwrite the older picture.
Can anyone help me with the code or some sorts of code.
Please help me as it is quite urgent.

Question on security in ABAP program with ITS. Please help!

I have a question on security in ABAP program.
I have a ABAP program which has a transaction attached.
I have added authorization check in ABAP program(Progran level security).
I have also attached the authorization object to the transaction.(Transaction level security)
If an end user runs the transactionm, then which authorization check will fire first? Will it be transaction level?
If I have web enabled my ABAP program via SICF (in other words, ITS). Then when I try to run my ITS service in the browser will the transaction level authorization fire? or Will the program level authorization fire?
Please help me understand this security aspect.

I have added authorization check in ABAP program(Progran level security).
i assume you have coded call authority within the program.
If an end user runs the transactionm, then which authorization check will fire first?
if he calls the transaction, then first authorization attached to the transaction will be checked.
but if he executes the program attached to the transaction, then the authorization attached to the transaction dosent help here, the one coded in side the program is checked.
If I have web enabled my ABAP program via SICF (in other words, ITS).
it depends,
if you are calling your transaction like
webgui/?~transaction=<tcode> then first tcode level authorization.
if you generate the templates for the program and callign the same, then i guess its progam level. (i need to check this)

Problem in web enabling ALV ABAP report via ITS. Please help!

Hi Experts,
I have a report that has a selection screen. On executing the selection screen an ALV output loads displaying data based on the selection criteria.
I have web enabled it via ITS. I have used SICF transaction.
When I run the internet service I can see only the selection screen. There is no execute button also. I also see a different layout then if my report has only selection screen. If my report has only selection screen then my page shows all the buttons including execute.
How to resolve this problem? Please help!

since you mentioned about SICF, i assume you are using integrated ITS.

you wont see the execute icon, instead you will see a button with "execute" text. (you can also use F8 key)
I also see a different layout then if my report has only selection screen. If my report has only selection screen then my page shows all the buttons including execute.
the layout of SAPGUI for HTML is slightly different, if you want (somewhat) similar look of a wingui, either make your transaction as "Easy Web Transaction" or in the url pass ~webtransactiontype=EWT
as a test can you run the following url and see how it looks.

High CPU usage on all cores by ntoskrnl.exe? Help needed urgently Please.

ntoskrnl.exe, system, has multiple cores running with high usage, locking up my system when using programs.
After looking through the forums I did the following:
I ran
sfc /scannow but nothing found.
I used process Explorer to find that the system has a thread <ntoskrnl.exe!TtlSid HashLookup+0x 1ffc> that
is using up 40+% of all four cpu cores. Looks like a driver fault with 8.1, but cannot pinpoint the device. Any clues msg me.

did you already updated all the network driver?
is there any networking software or downloaded software? may I know your antivirus status? firewall?
try clean boot and go to safemode to check, choose safe mode only, safe mode with networking and normal mode without internet (unplug cable or disconnect Wifi)

Parameters issue in discoverer while writing a view...its urgent please

I have written a view in which i have a where condition which says something like
where abc IN ( Select xyz from table2).
Now in my desktop, i want a parameter to pass for the subquery as
select xyz from table2 where column1='bla bla bla'
please tell me how is this possbile.

Kumar.
1. Are you trying to show a LOV at run time? If so, you can create a LOV directly in the EUL via Disco Admin which will present a list of the items a user can choose from at run time (and not have to worry about a sub-query).
2. If it's an actual sub-query you need, then first of all, Disco v4 (maybe it was v9, but that was an ugly child anyway) is the last version that supported 'pseudo' sub-queries.
3. It's been written up in the forum many times about how to pass run time parameters to a folder in the EUL. There's one method that's popular for actually passing the parm to the folder.
4. Another method is to create a worksheet that only calls a function, to kick off a PL/SQL routine that builds a table using your parameter and then have the main worksheet call that new table.
So, if it's a LOV you want - that's a whole lot easier.

There was a recent posting which suggested two things
to say if you want to be ignored are put "please help
me" or "urgent" in you subject. You put both. :)
It is likely that you program is throwing an
exception as an error, but you are ignoring all
errors so you have know way of knowing what the
