Hi I am currently have a subscription to PS CC but I don't think I have the latest version. I believe this because I don't get the new welcome screen and don't have new features like the structure and color setting in the content aware patch tool. I have checked for updates and it tells me I have the current version. I check in PS I have version 14.2.1. I also have CS6 installed on my PC, could this be somehow be doing something or am I doing something wrong. Would anyone have any suggestions.

Are you downloading iTunes form an Apple website or somewhere else? If the answer is somewhere else, try downloading it from Apple. Click on iTunes in the black menu bar above and go from there.

My computer is running Java 6 Update 34, does Firefox Block it because it isn't the latest version of Java? Because i cant launch Webex using Firefox.

For some reason i need to have java 6 install in my computer to run some program, but then im unable to have webex to run on Firefox, it says java not install.

I use the proxy settings add-on in Firefox to access my company server. However, I updated Firefox this morning to the latest version. Now this add-on doesn'tl.

I am unable to update to iTunes because evry time it says there is no Quck Time installed. but Quick Time is there. I am following the advice from Apple Support to uninstall iTunes first.... this was successful. The second one was Quick Time but it refuses to uninstall and repeatedly says there is a fatal error during installation. I believe it is really there at 70.12 Mb but am now at a loss. On mozilla's OWN WEBSITE I get the message 'Your Firefox is out of date and may contain a security risk!" but I just download and installed the latest version?

Is iTunes 6.0.1 The Latest Version That Can Be Used On G3 iMac 600?

I have a G3 iMac 600 using OSX 10.4.11 which is the latest OS it can support.
iTunes 6.0.1 appears to be the latest version supported by this iMac as I can't get anything newer via Software Update and iTunesX lists a G4 as minimum requirements.
Is this correct?

With all the discussion about problems with iTunes 11 for Windows, there is also now the problem of downloading the 11 install file at all. On 2 diff computers today, I have tried to download installer and it gets to "save file" then when clicked simply disappears. Nice magic trick, but not helpful to a long-time (and mostly happy til now) user of iTunes on Windows. If there are such serious problems with the installation and function of this "new" version, what the hex is Apple doing? A new corrected release? When? why all this mess wirth a program that has always worked? How about some answers Apple?

Moving the selection in Content Aware Move tool

I have a semi low light image of a person standing on a beach .. he is on the wrong side .. I select him with the selection tool, and then try to use the Content Aware Patch tool to move him to the right .. but only half of the selection moves
It is a little strange because the person is pure black (contra jour) and I am trying to move him to a section of the image which is fairly similar

That and the iTunes DEP error suggest that some application (other than QuickTime itself) has stashed old QuickTime componentry down in your system files.
So we'll go looking for the older QuickTime componentry in the most common locations for it to be stashed.
First we'll need to change some view settings.
In your Start menu, open Computer.
In your Organise menu, select Folder Options.
In the View tab, make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is selected, and Hide extensions for known file types is unchecked.
Click OK.
Now in Computer, open your C:\ drive (or whichever drive you have your operating system installed on).
Open the "Windows" folder.
*If you have a 32-bit version of Windows,* open the "System32" folder.
*If you have a 64-bit version of Windows,* open the "SysWOW64" folder.
What files and folders can you see in there with QuickTime in the title? (In a standard installation of Quicktime you should be seeing precisely two files ... QuickTime.qts and QuickTimeVR.qtx ... and no QuickTime folders whatsoever.)
