All I can suggest is that you open that file on the MBA and save it as a new file, then see if you can open the new one on the iMac.

Iwant to configure my new tab with google which is my home page, how can I do that, can any one give suggestion to me please?
A new tab opens by default as a blank tab (about:blank).
If that isn't the case then an extension has changed that behavior.
You can middle-click or hold down Ctrl and left-click the Home button on the Navigation toolbar to open the Home page in a new tab.
You can use an extension to set which page to open in a new tab:
*NewTabURL : https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/newtaburl/
*My Homepage: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/my-homepage/ -
HELP!! I udpated all my itunes etc., and can access my Mac App Store, but can no longer access my itunes purchases or account info. I don't get an error message. But, when I log into iTunes and see my apple ID at top right hand corner, but then go to purchase history and account info, it just keeps taking me back to log in block. I'm not getting an error message, but can't pull up anything, but my name.
Ok. Found something that said to shut down and hold the option, command, p, and r keys on restart. Held them down for a few restarts and everything automatically signed in and works. Woohoo!!!

This happened only once.
This happened
Every time Firefox opened
== I updated ZONEALARM security and had to accept their toolbar which I tried to delete and did it wrong. (Should have looked in your help section first). I succeeded in deleting Zonealarm toolbar, but also the Firefox ones.Hello Bill.
To restore your interface layout, go into View > Toolbars > Customize... > Restore Default Set.
If you can't see the menu bar, press ALT or F10 in your keyboard to make it temporarily visible. If you want it to be permanently visible, go into View > Toolbars > Menu Bar, or right-click the Navigation Toolbar (the Reload button, for example) and select Menu Bar.
If this doesn't help, right-click the navigation toolbar, select Customize... and click Restore Default Set. If it doesn't appear right away, try pressing ALT or F10. You can go into View > Toolbars > Menu Bar to make it permanently visible, or right-click the Navigation Toolbar and select Menu Bar.
If none of this helps, you may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Try disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal. -
Would like to change home page, but can't figure out how.
Have forgotten how to change homepage and after looking everywhere I can think of, can't find solution.
Try Tools / Options / General TAB.
What you are looking for is in the Startup section at the top. -

When I want to return to my home page after looking at a website I click on the home icon and it resets the page to my home page but also open a blak tab which i don't want. How can I stop this as I have too many tabs open and have to close all of them.
You may have an unwanted extension that is modifying sites (or the toolbar area). Try this:
Disable ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable.
Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Does that flush the tab?
Please report back on anything suspicious you find so others can learn about its bad behavior. -

i have tried everything from the information fire fox has giving me to make yahoo my home page but it is not working because i have an older p.c. is there any help i can get
The age of that PC shouldn't have an impact on being able to set your own homepage. Have you read this KB article?
http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/How+to+set+the+home+page
If that doesn't help you, let us know which part of that article doesn't work. -
when I click my home page icon the tab that is open goes to my home page BUT another new tab opens. How do I stop the new tab from appearing?
It's easy to add extra tabs to your set of home pages. You can use the Options dialog to make sure there is only one. These articles point the way:
* Startup, home page and download settings
* How to set the home page
Because the space is short, you may want to select the whole home page URL (Ctrl+A) and paste it into a document or into a larger textbox like the one I'm typing in now. You're looking for a vertical bar (|) that is followed by a second URL.
If it's not part of your home page setting, the most likely cause for this change is a bad add-on that rode along with some free software.
I suggest starting here:
Open Windows Control Panel, Uninstall a Program. Click the "Installed on" column heading to group the infections, I mean, additions, by date. This can help in smoking out undisclosed bundle items that snuck in with some software you agreed to install. Take out as much trash as possible here.
Then, in Firefox, open the Add-ons page using either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable (or Remove, if possible).
Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Does that shut down the extra tab? -
I can set my home page but every time firefox starts it goes back to the page I changed it from
I keep having to change the home page. I joined a site that changed the home page. I uninstalled this program but I am unable to get firefox to change the home page. This does not happen with IE when I change the page it stays. No matter how many times I try it always goes back to

I open up Safari and expect it to go straight to my home page, but instead it seems to open any number of previously viewed web pages. I have recently installed Lion and I don't recall this happening with Snow Leopard. Any ideas...?
Hold down the shift key as you click the Dock icon. This will kill the automatic "resume" feature found in Lion.
Hold down the Option key when you use the Safari menu to quit the app. This will "discard windows". -
I cannot access certain pages such as facebook, yahoo, my bank. I sometimes get as far as their home page, but when required to say, go to mail... I get the url msg described above. Same thing when I try to login to online banking. Facebook I cannot login whatsoever. These are just 3 different sites I've tried so far.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
See Troubleshooting extensions and themes and Troubleshooting plugins
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
* Use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe mode start window to disable all extensions.
* Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit") -
I am trying to print all the PDF pages in a range of 5 pages but can only print one page at a time . . . It will print the current page only, but not all or pages 1-5. I need to go to the next subsequent page and command to print current page; continuing with this procedure until all pages are printed one at a time. Can this be overcome?
You can use printPages(1, 5), however I need to know how you print current page.

Can you help me figure out how to stop Firefox from opening to welcome page / updated window, I have to close that before I can use my google search page ,which is my homepage !!
You can start by checking the Home page setting to see if that still links to the Google Home page (http://www.google.com/firefox)
* Tools > Options > General > Startup: Home page
You can also check the startup setting just above the home page setting.
If the home page setting isn't correct and changing it doesn't last if you close and reopen Firefox then you need to check if the file prefs.js in the Firefox Profile Folder isn't corrupted.
* Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory > Open Containing folder
