It sounds like you created a new Apple ID rather than changing the email address of your current Apple ID. Apps are tied to the account that they were initially installed with. So the only solution is to delete the app and re-purchase it with the new Apple ID.

I am trying to boot Ubuntu 12.4 on my iBook G4, but am having trouble getting my iBook to recognize the boot disk in the CD Drive.
I have pressed "C" during boot to force it to boot from the Optical Drive. It boots normally.
I have pressed "option" to get the boot menu. The only option available is my hard disk drive.
I have pressed "option""command""shift""delete" at the same time during boot to force it to skip booting the hard disk. I get a blinking smily face/question mark for a while, then it shows the boot menu, at which point the only available option is my hard disk drive.
In system preferences in OS X I have looked to change the boot drive, but the only option, again, is the hard disk.
Can I not boot from the Optical Drive?

I do recall it being very limited when it came do downloading Linux software that supported PPC.
You wouldn't be any better off than using firefox or safari on Mac OS X 10.4.11.

If not how to Igethem to be the same?go to settings>itunes and app store - if you are signed in then tap the id and sign out - try to sign back in and see if it gives you a particular error

Thanks for the question. You'll want to delete and re-add your iCloud account (utilizing the new Apple ID address). When prompted, opt to keep as much information on your device as possible. The following article provides information on how to do so:

Why would you not be able to use your existing Apple ID and iTunes account on a new laptop? If you authorized the computer - you should be able to use your existing account - unless you already had 5 computers authorized with the existing ID - and that was why iTunes would not accept the ID. However, I'm sure that you would have received a popup message from iTunes telling you that you had reached the limit.
I just received a new MBP and my daughter did as well. My entire family shares an Apple ID and we had no issues at all with my Apple ID and iTunes on our new computers and I did not have to sign up for a new account. Did you even try the old ID? -

Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router.
Reset the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings)
Restore the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Restore) -
Someone used my email address to create an Apple ID. I logged in to appleid.apple.com and I changed the password because it is freaking me out. I want to report it to Apple but dont know how to go about it. I want the Apple ID deleted. How do I go about that? Is there also a way to ensure that the email address wont be used again by this person to create another Apple ID?
This is compounded actually by a Gmail issue. I have had this email address for ages, since the start of the beta. But lately in the last year or so, I am getting mail that seems to be intended for other people but it is using my email address. Whenever I go to use Airplay, it asks for my Apple TV password. How do I get one?
I understand that, but how do I do that? Nowhere in the process of using Apple TV have I found a procedure to designate an AirPlay password. Maybe I missed it but other than my Apple TV/iTunes experience (for which I use my regular Apple ID.and Password), is there an AirPlay Password, But they call for it on both my iPad 2 and my iPad Touch, Or, like Ziploc says, all I need to use is my my regular ID and password. But I can't believe I haven't tried that before, and was rejected. I'll try it again and let you know.

I am trying to attach files from my user account on my laptop, but when I try to attach them inside a Firefox browser, it only allows me to look at the administrator account and the documents on there. I am not logged into my administrator account, because I obviously only use that for the administrative things on my computer. I'm not sure what to do to change this, I've looked through all of the settings in my new version of Firefox (3.6.11) and I can't find anywhere to change those settings. HELP ME, PLEASE!?
Check that you do not run Firefox as Administrator.<br />
Right-click the Firefox desktop shortcut and choose "Properties".<br />
In the Compatibility tab, make sure that Privilege Level: "Run this program as Administrator" is not selected. -
How can I get my iPhone 6 to stop prompting me to enter my wife's Apple ID when updating apps? I have verified in settings that my acct is listed in itunes & App Store, as well as icloud. i can download new apps fine. Is the comp a synced device to your apple ID and approved as an active device for this synchronization?
Just cloud the sync once, activate the comp to your apple I'd in iTunes, ensure all software is up to date, turn on home sharing between the devices and you can reinstall the apps from the apple id purchase history via download.
You basically cleaned out the canonical data apple uses to validate all that, which was backup data. Like iOS devices have the purchased option on the App Store now, syncing the devices via the home sharing and properly activating them will give your comp the purchased cloud and free up 10gs of space on the precious solid states smaller drives.
