Hi. I pre ordered an album from iTunes using my iPhone 4S. Once released I received an email with a download link. I followed the link from the email which took me to iTunes Store. There I found the album & all tracks shown as purchased but with no apparent way of downloading. When I check for items to download, it isn't there. When I check purchased items purchased, it isn't there either. It only appears when I tap the album cover from the front page & then only as purchased.

Check your Music app to see if it already downloaded. You can also check iTunes on your computer to Check for a available downloads. If you are still not able to get it, then report the issue to iTunes.

Yet - that is the only proof/information I have.
I never received an email.
I have no idea my status or even if Verizon is aware of the order.

Received an email with attachment when I replied to the email; i can no longer view the attachement

When replying to an email with attachment, later when I need to review the attachedment, it can't and just gives a file name <????.pdf> i tried to search my downloads and documents for the file pdf but cant be located.
It seems that attachments are lost when you reply to an email?

Try a reset ...
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
No data is lost due to a reset.

Try downloading the apps from your phone
App store > tap updates> tap purchased> tap not on this iphone> click on the cloud with the down arrow for the app you want to download"

Music is designed to sync in one way only, and that is from iTunes to the phone. There is the expectation that you would backup the computer to save this data. There are 3rd party solutions to try and recover music from the phone to put back into a blank iTunes library.

Not sure what is going on here. I pre-ordered an album. One of the songs was available for instant download so I have that in my library now. I received an email saying that the rest of the album is available for download. When I go into my purchased songs as instructed, it only shows 2 other songs from that album. Not sure what I need to do.

Depending on your settings, the songs may already have been downloaded to your iTunes library.

If you still cannot find this music on your computer, the iTunes Store Support team will be happy to help you with your order.
iTunes Store: About Pre-orders
If you've enabled iTunes to automatically download prepurchased content, then your pre-order content may already be downloaded to your library. If not, simply click the download link provided within your email notification, and your pre-order content will begin to download. Alternatively you can use the "Check for Available Downloads" feature in iTunes on your computer by choosing Store > Check for Available Downloadsto begin downloading your pre-order.

Check in your iTunes folder on your computer to find the files. If they are there, then drag on top of iTunes to import them in. If they are not there, then report the issue to the iTunes Store.

Download a pre-ordered item: Click the link in the email notice or open iTunes and choose Store > Check for Available Downloads.
View, cancel, or see the expected release dates for pending pre-orders: Choose Store > View My Apple ID, and click Manage Pre-orders.
When you pre-order an item, you may not be able to download it at the exact moment it becomes available for regular purchase. You’ll receive an email the same day it becomes available to let you know when you can download the item.
Some albums or collections you can pre-order include a song that’s available to download immediately. When you pre-order these items, the available song is downloaded and you’re charged only for that song.
