Apple does not have an international warranty. If the phone was purchased in the US, it must be serviced in the US, in warranty or out of warranty. Also, Apple will not accept international shipments...the phone must be physically returned to an Apple store in the US or mailed from within the US.

To change your Apple ID, follow these steps:

Who did that? I'm assuming not Apple, correct? Take the phone back to whoever replaced the battery & have them fix things.

I had already update mi new factory unlocked iPhone 4S to iOS 5.1.1 and I still having problems with "invalid sim". I'm from Argentina and here we don't have official service. Was it purchased from an official Apple Store, not a reseller? Only Apple Stores sell official factory unlocked phones. The others sell hacked to unlock phones, and the unlocking is unstable.
Try these steps, as needed:
1. Reset phone - press both home and on/off buttons for at least 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
2. Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
3. Replace SIM card (and reset network settings again)
4. Restore Phone in iTunes using a backup
5. Restore in iTunes as new, without using a backup -
I plan to buy an iphone 6 from New York. I am from India and shall be using the phone in India. Is it possible to get an unlocked iphone from the store? If yes, how much would it cost?
It is going to be months before any unlocked iPhone 6s will be available.
Also be aware that the iPhone purchased in the USA will only have warranty service in the USA. Any warranty service will require you to bring it back to USA. -
My iphone is not working at all it is in dfu mode. i tried to upgrade to 4.3.3 it could not continue upgrading and shows only dfu mode. what to do.

Turn off all security software and open all firewalls in Windows, restart everything and then try re-entering DFU from the start.

Everything else seems to work fine. But I cannot open tabs. I just downloaded the latest and same version and reinstalled. That did not work.

I am testing our website :www.winningsportstips.com and we have Virtuemart installed and the site will not allow me to select 'add to cart' feature. However if I open the website in Internet Explorer, the feature is available and it functions correctly. I am running XP and have 'accept all cookies' enabled in settings.

After a while it tells then me that it cannot verify my email address because of a network connection ("Could not verify the email address. Please check your network connection and try again. ")

Even new purchases are not always fully up to date. Check and see by going to Settings > General > Software Update and see if it says it is up to date or not.
Also keep in mind that you need a WiFi connection for FaceTime. -
IPhone 5s GPS not working correctly
GPS on my iPhone 5s does not work properly with the cover. I have the cover from apple itself. Does anyone else have the same problem ? If yes , what needs to be done ??
Inside it cannot possible get a GPS signal to receive, so no coordinates. If your iPhone 4 has previously been used outside where it could get a decent GPS signal, then it is simply displaying the last known GPS fix. If the store's iPhone 5S has never been used outside, then its initial GPS fix may take several minutes, to locate and lock onto available satellite signals, and then only with a clear and unobstructed view of the open sky.
To answer your basic question, just look at the tech specs for the iPhone 5S - yes, it has a GPS chipset. But to receive signal from the satellites, you'll need to be outside under an open sky. The signals are quite weak and do not penetrate buildings or much of any overhead structure that obstructs the skyview.

I purchased the I phone on the day of its launch in UK and Four days back I noticed that there is no sound output from its speakers.I tried every thing (software update, restore factory setting with the help of apple on line support) including banging, battering and so on. What else can one do after all this. Please advise.
If it's not working after a restore as new that would tend to indicate a hardware issue. Take it to Apple or whomever services devices in your country.
