Your profile shows Mac OS X (10.6.8) so it seems you are using Numbers version 2.x
Numbers 2 does not have the ability to sort Pop-Up Menu entries (except by a painful process of adding or subtracting entries in Inspector).
Numbers 3 makes Pop-Up Menus a breeze. But it is your choice whether to update to OS X Mavericks and Numbers 3 . Some features have been lost, other features have been added, and there are some workarounds.

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to retrieve photos from my iPhone 4 that I took more than 30 days ago on to my pc?
I had issues in 10.4.7 as well as 10.4.8.
My problems occurred at the beginning of 10.4.8, then many users brought light to me using WEP, which was not working that great. I changed my connections to WPA2 and my problem has disappeared. If my problem didn't resolve the way it did, I would have mentioned it the next time I visited an apple store.
The bottom line is that assumptions, complaining, and self diagnostics don't get many people very far and bringing the problem to apple helps them know the incidence of this problem, and helps them develop a reliable solution.
Though some users have reported the "cold shoulder" when reporting Airport problems to apple... I hope you weren't one of them. -
Transferred backed-up data from external hard disk to new hard drive on my MacBook Pro which seemed to be successful. I now find that some (or maybe all) old emails have been resent. Can anyone tell me what has happened?

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

See if there's a non-explicit version and download that? Just download the individual songs you want, and not the others?

OS X 10.4.x is Tiger, 10.5.x is Leopard, 10.6.x is Snow Leopard, 10.7.x is Lion, and 10.8.x is Mountain Lion.
Whether or not you can go to the latest OS X version depends upon your hardware -
You will need to purchase the retail set for the OS X version you want; there is no pint in getting and installing any intermediate versions. Once the retail version has been installed, you can update it to the latest release for that version via download updater. -
Can anyone tell me how to install a network printer driver without having the network printer online? It doesn't matter what manufactors make the network printers. Is a netwaork printer(with network card) has to have that printer on line to be able to install

The computer (and driver) have to handshake with the printer, QED it has to be either online or physically connected and if it is physically connected it wont work on the network so yes it does.

Another possibility is in IT0003 "Payroll Status".. You can opt mention next month date "Run Payroll up to" & execute Off cycle payroll for that employee...
Just try this hope this may sort your issue....
If it still it doesn't give you soln.. You may need to reverse the posting of that employee & change employment status.. Run Bonus & finally terminate the employee & do the posting.. -

Thanks!You can, but you will have to create a new version of the songs that you download from the store (they will be in .m4a format from the store which your MP3 player won't support).
After downloading a song, go into iTunes > Preferences (command-comma) and on the General tab click the 'Import Settings' button and on the next screen change the 'import using' to 'MP3 encoder' (or one of the other options if your MP3 player supports it). To create a MP3 version of your downloaded song(s), select/highlight them in the Music part of your iTunes library, control-click, and on the popup select 'create MP3 version' (the 'MP3' will change depending upon what you've selected as the type on 'import settings' options).

You should then be able to copy the music to your MP3 player in the same way as you normally do. -

Powerline Home Network can anyone tell me if I can link my desktop mac (intel) into my network that currently feeds PC's and TV's (using ZyXEL PLA4201 HD Adapters) - and if so what I have to watch out for?
It should be fairly straight forward. That is if the power line adapter has an Ethernet connection on it.
I have no idea how the PLA work but as far as networking a Mac to a mainly Windows PC LAN that is very simple.
On the Mac turn on File Sharing and then enable SMB (Windows) Sharing in the options. That is found in the Sharing applet in System Preferences. Then go to the Network Applet, again in Sys Prefs, and highlight your Ethrenet connections and click the Advanced button and then the WINS tab and use the same Workgroup Name as your Win PCs use. It may take a few minutes but the Windows shares should show up in Finder. -

You can't connect directly to the external drive, but should be able to use iTunes Home Sharing via the laptop.

I have downloaded a tv episode from itunes, I would like to watch it on my tv, not the computer.
My tv has a usb port, what I would like to do is copy tv episode to usb flash drive and then play on my tv.
I have tried dragging the episode from the library to the usb drive, I thought I had been successful but when I looked it was just text.
Can anyone advise if it is possible please ?It won't work, they are linked to your account and can only be played via iTunes on a computer, an iOS device or Apple TV. You might be able to get a cable to link your Mac to your TV so that you can play/mirror it through your TV e.g. if it's a Macbook with an HDMI socket and your TV also has an HDMI socket then you could try an HDMI to HDMI cable (Apple do them, and electrical stores should also have them) - I've used one to play iTunes TV programmes on my TV (though I don't think that I got sound through my TV, only my Mac).

I'm wondering if there is an app available for the iPad that allows me to type in a word, copy the word layer, change the top layer colour, view the grid and increase the grid divisions, erase every other layer then print it. I know you can do this on photoshop for the PC but wondered if this was available on the iPad version, if not does anyone know an app that will allow me to do this? Thanks

When I sync my photo's from my computer to my i-phone they appear in a random order and some of them are duplicated. How can I get them to appear as they are saved in my folders on my computer?
Do you still see your photos, when you launch iPhoto and not Photos?
Where did you keep your iPhoto Library? In your Pictures folder, as is the default? Or on an external drive?
Look in the folder with your iPhoto Library.
You should be seeing two libraries, if you already let Photos upgrade the iPhoto Library:

My iPhone 4s will not hold a battery charge longer than half a day even if charged all night. I am now updating to 8.1.3 - does anyone know if this will make any difference?
Thank you for your help - I had the battery replaced in a phone shop in Bournemouth and think I need to take my phone in and ask them to check the battery but I have to have an operation on Thursday this week and may be a couple of weeks before I get chance to take the phone in - thank you for your helpful advice which I very much appreciate.
