Hi people, i Downloaded a new update for my iPhone 4 not working.
So i downloaded the new update for my phone, it is 3/4 of the way through the download and then it just freezes. ***** because i dont have my phone for work now.. and cant just leave to work to go to the apple store to have them fix it, Anyone with anything on this please help me, I updated my MacBook Pro, Updated I tunes, have restarted the computer multiple times.. I personally can not find out what is wrong with my phone, Someone help me
Well, we might be able to help you, but first you need to provide some details.
What does "my phone isn't letting to update" mean? What EXACTLY is the problem that is occurring.

That's telling you your phone is in "Recovery Mode", & needs to be restored. You'll need a computer to do so:

Last night i was downloading the new update for the Iphone4 on my laptop through Itunes. After the download was done, it was starting to install, and then an error came up and didnt get a chance to check it. Now my Iphone is stuck on the screen with the USB pointing to the Itunes Icon and wont do anything else. Any advice on how to get this fixed, or do i need to go to the Apple store and have them look at it.

I can't download the new updates for my Iphone 4 it gives me an err = -3259
Everytime I try to download the update for my Iphone 4 on itunes, it downloads the entire way then stops and says error network time out and gives me an err=-3259 thing. I checked my network connection and it checked out ok. I don't know what to do any help would be much appreciated

By the way, relying on instanceof is kind of poor. Sometimes it's unavoidable, but if you can redesign your program so that it doesn't have to do this, it would be good.
You could add the Student objects to two different lists (it's still the same object, just used twice, so there's little waste of resources), one list represents all students, and one list represents just postgraduates or just undergraduates.
You could also perhaps have a method in Student which basically says "add yourself to the appropriate list", and when you want to display student lists, call that method on all students. -
The new update for iTunes is not working
so i tried to open the imovie app but instead it brought me to the app store and showed me that i needed to update itunes. I did the update and it restarted my computer but the i movie ico is still biring ing me to the app store and it is still telling me that is need to update itunes. please help

i just downloaded the new update for itunes and the itunes store wont open up it is taking a long time it still hasnt loaded since 5pm, i also cant sighn in either it just keeps on saying accessing itunes....
Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

This new update for the iPhone has me troubled. Nowhere did I see where it was only good for 3GS,4S and or 5 or all. Is this update also good for the 3GS? I'm reading people are having trouble.
iOS 6 can be loaded without problem on the 3GS. Not all features are supported however.
With respect to your reading people are having trouble, what did you expect to see on this technical support forum? People don't write in to state they have a trouble-free upgrade. -

Restore loop (being prompted to restore again after a restore successfully completes)

Next try placing in DFU mode and then restoring.

You are sending SMS messages. iMessages are blue. Go to Settings>>Messages>>iMessage ON.

Have you ever jailbroken your iPhone with tether? Because if you have the jailbreak keeps a file on your phone making it so you can't update. To solve this problem your going to have to reset your phone.
