If you purchased CS2 Yes its a replacement for you old CD. You just need to read that page to know the answer. If you check the box and downloaded it and installed the product Adobe new activation servers have recorded that you did download and install. in their activation database.

By the way, this would not be a copyright issue as far as Apple themselves are concerned; Apple does not hold the copyrights to any of their material. Use of a music track in a presentation for educational purposes, again presuming that the track is not available outside of the class, generally would fall under "fair use" and so be legal. Again, though, talk with your school if you have serious concerns.

Looking at Softwares, Can someone answer some quesitons about Captivate?

Hey all,
I am looking at training software for a pretty big project
and wanded to check with those who actually use it to see if
Captivate would fit my needs as wel as what I found using the
website:
Is the UI Developer friendly?
Does it have Multimedia (Audio/Video) integration?
(Appears the answer is YES, but waht is the ease of this?)
Are there any end-user liscenses needed for the trainees?
Can it be set up to be Interactive?
(Appears to be YES, but the level of interactivity I am not sure
about.)
Can the end users/Trainees have their own username/passwords
for tracking?
Is the training interuption-friendly to the end users? Can
they save their spot and resume at that spot?
How is the testing?
it appears that you can test, but I want to know if there are
limits, and make srue it is scoreable
are the test results kept in a database to chart/track/report
off of and to track each user's status by administrators?

Hi Pete, in answer to your queries and from my own limited
knowledge:
Q - Is the UI Developer friendly?
A - Yes, Captivate is very easy to learn and getting results
quickly for the basics, but as simple as the program appears at
first, there are a wealth of features and tricks that can only be
learnt over time or in the hands a good trainer. (E.g. setting up a
basic table in Excel is easy, but writing Macros to manipulate the
data is not).
Q - Does it have Multimedia (Audio/Video) integration?

A - The method of importing or attaching Audio/Video is very
user friendly and Captivate even includes a basic audio editor for
manipulation of individual sound bytes.
Q - Are there any end-user liscenses needed for the trainees?
A - No, only the developer needs a licence to use Captivate.
The outputs are controlled by the developer not Adobe. To use the
Excel scene again, I need a licence for Excel on my PC, but the
data tables etc that I create are mine to do with as I wish.
Q - Can it be set up to be Interactive? (Appears to be YES,
but the level of interactivity I am not sure about.)
A - Bearing in mind that Captivates biggest strength area
lies in the training of software solutions or applications,
Captivate can be used to firstly train in full flow how a user is
expected to interact on a solution, this can be followed by a
Training Simulation where the user will interact EXACTLY as they
would on the actual solution. Lastly, all this can be assessed in
another fully interactive module that measures the users skills. As
an example, I have built Captivate modules to the extent that users
could not distinguish between the live application and my work
regarding interactivity
Q - Can the end users/Trainees have their own
username/passwords for tracking?
A - This lies outside the scope of Captivate, but if you were
to publish the Captivate files to an LMS, then the LMS would be
configured to manage user take on and tracking. Note though that
Captivate files are fully SCORM compliant and are thus relatively
easy to integrate into an LMS.

A - All the above falls under the administration of a LMS as
described in the previous point. Captivate Assessments are fully
scoreable and customisable as to how points are awarded, but, as
with all e-learning programs, you need an LMS to manage and track
users and their results.

Can anyone answer this question about unlimited data?

I currently have a phone with ATT... a Samsung. Contract has been up for several months.
I have the unlimited data plan for $30 a month.
When I buy the new iPhone will I be able to just transfer my $30 a month unlimited data plan from my old Samsung phone to my new iPhone's new 2-year contract? Or, will I have to switch to the new data plan thing (with no more unlimited data)?

Why are you asking this in a user-to-user iPhone forum? The ONLY source for a definitive answer about the brand new, not yet implemented AT&T data plans is AT&T. You need to contact them. Any "answer" you get here is purely guesswork.

You may very well have to restore the iPad eventually, but start by rebooting the iPad and see if that helps, before you start doing anything too drastic.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

"This is itunes for windows, if your doing this on a mac you need to post in the itunes for mac forum for better help"
I do that because sometimes even tho it says mac there doing it on there PC or a friends PC.

Just a quick one -
Making a script for seamless tonal loops -
process -
1 - Select and fade out the last 0.5 secs of the wavefile.
2 - Select and fade in the first 0.5 secs.
3 - Cut first 0.5 secs
4 - MIX PASTE the first 0.5 secs with the last .
After stopping record and running the script , it appears the MIX PASTE function is just PASTING AT THE END rather then mix pasting over the last 0.5 secs.
The script says the action being carried out at that time is "PASTE SPECIAL" , im assuming this is the command for mix paste? However as i say,
it doesnt mix paste , it just copies the first selection to the end rather then mixing it.
Now , I have several scripts to do this , with differing selection lengths for fades , testing on audio of the perfectly same length as the source etc.
Every time the mix paste function pastes to end rather then mixes with the final portion , so IM ASUMING THERE IS SOMETHING I AM NOT AWARE OF HERE? SOME SMALL OBVIOUS DETAIL I HAVE MISSED? ANYONE? my nipples are starting to itch with the frustration....

JUST TO CLARIFY - it functions correctly WHEN YOU ARE RECORDING THE SCRIPT , it pastes incorrectly only WHEN RUNNING THE RECORDED SCRIPT.

There are different Modes that a Script can operate in. They work in different ways on the file. Some just work at the cursor position, another only on a Selection within the file and one on the whole file. I can't remember which is which but the normal ones are either Mode 2 or Mode 4. These are written at the head of the script when you record it. If you open the script in Notepad or any text Editior you can change the Mode by changing 2 to 4 or viceversa and resaving the Script. Sometimes you have to experiment to find the correct mode for what you want it to do.
When you open the Scrpts tab and click on a script one of the boxes at the bottom will be highlighted to tell you what mode the script will operate in. Also there is a tick box to select whether the Script works Relative to the cursor position or from the Start of the file which can make a difference to how it functions when you run it.

you could try forcing it into recovery mode by turning it off, hold the home button and plug it into iTunes at the same time, keep holding the home button until iTunes says its detected a device that needs to be updated or restored. Then restore.

After awhile, it drove me nuts... I wanted something simple, I just wanted to play my music, not shuffle thru a bunch of crap to get there!, and went for an Ipod.
I dunno... one of the reasons I'm liking the look of this is that it copies the Ipod firmware. It seems Creative now knows what it's doing... Or does it's Is the copied part only the front, and I would have to click 6 times to play one song? I must know.
2. Will it have all the extras of an Ipod, games, contacts, calender, notes, etc? FM radio is a plus.
3. What is the sound quality on this one?
4. Will this one... have a headphone jack problem while I own it's Don't take this last question seriously... Or do :X

Actually seeing as Creative's firmware came first it would seem Apple copied Creative. The iPod firmware and library manipulation is very similar to the Creative players, having played briefly with an iPod.
Also you talked before about the difficulty with queuing a track, but couldn't describe a better system. Can you explain how the iPod makes it easier? I don't see any way Creative can make it quicker. You need to access the album/artist, then press the play button. Job done.

I doubt games and notes, we've never had anything like this to-date.
A Mod or owner can tell you for sure of course.

SnR is allegedly 97dB. Of course the subjecti've sound quality is one for the users to debate when there are shipping and several folks here at least have one. I doubt a Mod can tell you anything different.

ABAP mappings run on ABAP Stack and are developed in the ABAP workbench of the Integration Server.
You normally do not need to use the ABAP mappings and is preferable for someone with ABAP programming background. I should say JAVA functions would suffice any complex scenarios.

Steps required for developing XSLT Mapping
u2022 Create a source data type and a target data type
u2022 Create Message types for the source and target data types.
u2022 Create Message Interfaces includes Inbound Message interface and Outbound Message interface.
u2022 XSLT Mapping does not require creation of Message mapping, so donu2019t create any Message mapping.
u2022 Create an .XSL file which converts source data type into target data type.
u2022 Zip that .xsl file and import it into Integration Repository under Imported Archives.
u2022 In Interface Mapping choose mapping program as XSL and specify this zip program. (Through search help you will get XSL Mapping programs that you imported under Imported Archives, select your corresponding XSL Program)
u2022 Test this mapping program by navigating to Test tab.
By having look at above steps you can easily find out that this mapping is no where different from other mapping programs, here the challenging lies in creating an XSLT file. If you spend couple of minutes in studying XPATH tutorial you would be in ideal position to create an XSL Transformation (.xsl extension).
If you still find difficulties in generating XSL Transformation, then you can make use of a tool u201CAltova MapForceu201D which will create XSL file for you.
Steps for creating XSL file using this tool:
1. Open the Alto MapForce, import the source .xml and .xsd file in it
2. Similarly import the target .xml and .xsd in MapForce.
3. These two data files should match with source and target data types in Integration Repository.
4. Complete the graphical mapping using extensive list of XSLT functions available there.
5. Save the mapping file.
6. Click the XSLT tab. You will have the entire xslt logic there.
7. Copy that content and save it as .xsl file.
8. Zip above .xsl file and import the same into IR under Imported Archives.

Is this a company email account? If so you may need to talk their technical support, as there may be additional layers of security which are preventing a connection.

Depends on
the analog part of A/D Converter and the converter as well ... there are cheap ones which (if you're audiophile)? may give weak results but normally, those are suitable even being that cheap ... you name ones you have in mind to get more exact answers<
