Hi there, i have a ipod nano general 7, just used one year. Now can't charge battery. When charging, the icon shows full power, but disconnect it. It becomes dark, no power. Why, the battery doesn't work ?

I've a ipod nano general 7, I've just used it one year. Now, I can't charge the battery. When charging, the icon shows full power. But when I disconnect, the ipod becomes dark, no power is keeped. Why, the battery doesn't work ? the life of my ipod's battery is too short ?

HT1386 Itunes recognises my ipod nano 7th gen but won't sync (also have another ipod nano 6th gen who uses this same computer, different Apple ID, no probs syncing)

Two ipod nanos registered to same PC
Both with own Apple ID
Up until recently able to sync both ipods no problem
Now, the 7th gen ipod nano, unable to sync and all music previously synced has dissappeard from ipod (thankfully still in itunes).
Could Homesharing have something to do with it?

My Ipod nano 4th generation just turned off and I can't restart it. Tried all the troubleshooting tips. Can't find the issue.

My three year old ipod nano 4th generation has been working fine all these years. Suddenly, last week, while it was low on battery (not completely drained), it shut down and I cannot restart it. I have tried all the troubleshooting issues and still did not manage to turn it on. Though. when I press center and menu while connected to my computer, the computer bips has if it recognized that something is trying to connect. Though, it cannot identify it and the iPod remains shut down. I cannot find the issue, perhaps I need a battery replacement?

It's possible. Just take the iPod to an Apple store or an AASP. Whichever is more convenient for you.

You would have to buy a new battery like this:

The replacement battery above also includes some tools although you should have a small screwdriver. After that you should be good to go.

What have you tried so far in terms of troubleshooting this issue? Are you plugging the iPod into a high powered USB 2.0 port on the back of your PC? Have you tried a different USB cable?
What happens if you try to reset the device with it still connected to the PC?

Since this iPod used to work with this PC, can you think of anything that might have changed with the PC since the last time you were able to successfully sync the iPod with iTunes? Perhaps you installed a new USB device such as a printer or external hard drive. Maybe you installed some new software or updated an existing piece of software?

try clicking settings on your ipod then go to main menu and click playlists to see if that will work for you

If that doesn't work, try restoring it: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1414.
If all else fails, you will have to place your iPod in Recovery Mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808.

Save all the photos from your Droid into a folder on your computer.
Connect your device to your computer. On iTunes left Pane, select iPhone under 'Devices'; then on the right Pane, select PHOTO tab. Make sure Sync Photo box is checked, and "from" box selected the folder that has Droid's photos. Then click the SYNC or APPLY button on the lower right window.
