I have a problem when trying to print contents fro either Email's or from web pages, the problem started after i opened Google earth and it down loaded Google Chrome i do not like Google chrome so i removed it from my pc via add and remove programmes since then when i try to print an email i get what looks like the computer settings for writing the email and not the text same for web pages, as anyone come across this problem before i can print any word or spreadsheet documents but problem is with email's and web pages.

Something changed on your system, possibly when Google Chrome installed. It could be many things, but what it boils down to, is it needs to go back to the way it was. Either by removing whatever else might still be left from the install, or maybe by reinstalling the printer itself.

Paper Mismatch when trying to print a recipe card from a template
I keep getting a message when trying to print a 4 x 6 recipe card on both of my color printers. No matter what I do I cannot print the cards. I have a HP Photosmart C4480 printer and a HP Officejet 8000 series printer. I am running Windows 7, 32 bit. I went to reinstall the drivers from the original installation disk and I get the message that a newer version of the drivers is already installed.

Not there aren't any special settings for this. You just use the Open In feature to save the document into Pages. You could have a font in the document that Pages doesn't like, maybe something that you copied and pasted from somewhere into the document that went corrupt. But there is nothing special about the way that you save a Word document into Pages. You save it like you save any document or file into a compatible app.

I was previously able to generate a types jar just fine from the web service's WSDL. Recently, I made some changes to the web service. Apparently, these changes to the web service now cause the WSDL to be unparseable when trying to generate types jars.
Any ideas?The WSDL is generated from my web service. I made heavy revisions to my web service which, in turn, affected the resultant WSDL. The changes I made to my web service were almost exclusively related to object substitution. For example, prior to the change I was referencing object A from my web service; after the change, I was referencing object B. The objects that I'm referring to are XMLBeans, if that matters. I can't really describe it more than that without actually showing you the WSDL.
I would post the WSDL file here to allow you to try to create a types jar out of it, but the WSDL exceeds the 30000 character limit for this field. There is no way for me to attach the WSDL to this post. -
Printing error message when trying to print an email from Outlook 2010
I am having an issue with a client machine. The user is using windows 7 pro and office 2010 pro. This issue i am having is when you go to open an email that you need to print i get the following error "the item could not be found".
It does not make any difference if the printer is a local or a network printer. I have tried creating the profile again and still get the same problem. The problem is machine based and not user based. How can i get around this. At the
moment the user is having to copy and paste the message into word when they are then able to print it. It only seems to effect outlook and not other Office applications

If you recreated the Outlook profile and still got the same problem, please try to recreate the Windows Profile:
Log on to client using local admin account->rename the profile folder under c:\users.
By the way, did you try to print the mails in OWA?

When I click on an email address embedded in a web page, a page would open in my email program with this address in the "To" line. I recently installed Microsoft Office 2010 and now when I click on an email address nothing happens. I am not sure if this is due to Office 2010 or a Firefox problem. I use a PC with Vista.

This happens all the time, a box comes up asking me to choose the application I want, it offers google, windows live, but not windows live hotmail which is what I have. If I choose windows live, an email blank comes up, not from my hotmail account, and it gets an error code when I try to send it.

Why doesn't FF take me to my email program when I click on an email address on a web page?
In the last two weeks, when I click on an email address link on a web page, instead of taking me to my email program (gmail), my FF browser opens up all my bookmark tabs--as many as 400--and essentially crashes. I use Mac OSX, version 10.6.6. I notice that "bookmarks and history" appears in the web browser window when this happens.
Check the Mailto application in Firefox > Preferences > Applications
Make sure that it isn't set to the Firefox application.

Problems when trying to admin 10.4 server from Leopard client
This seems to be a growing issue now with people updating to Leopard on their Client computers and then trying to continue administering their Tiger Servers.
Here's my story to add to this whole thing:
Updated my MacBook Pro to 10.5. I have 2 Xserves, one is a G5 and the other is an Intel. Both are running 10.4.10. The 10.4 Admin Tools were left intact after the upgrade, but I was quite excited to use the 10.5 Admin Tools, as the UI looks like such a huge improvement, and I updated those apps asap. Yes, without checking to make sure you could even admin 10.4 servers with 10.5 admin tools! Silly me!
So I tried to connect to my servers using the 10.5 tools, and it wouldn't connect. I didn't even get the message saying my servers didn't have Server 10.4.11, but I knew something was wrong, so I searched to find the requirements for using 10.5 tools. Lo and behold I stumbled upon the tech doc stating 10.5 Admin Tools requires 10.4.11 if you want to admin Tiger servers. Bummer.
So then I had to reinstall the 10.4.7 Admin Tools, and yes, you can't install these tools in Leopard. I did find out that you can just bring these apps from a computer that already has them installed and just use them, so I grabbed the apps out of the /Applications/Server folder on the 10.4 servers themselves using ARD.
Everything seemed to be working ok, until I tried to edit an account in Workgroup Manager. All aspects of an account's information is grayed out and un-editable. I made sure it was authenticated to the LDAP as the directory administrator and it was. I tried repairing permissions and while Disk Utility did fix a whole bunch of permissions in the Admin Tools apps, it still did not solve this issue.
Has anyone else seen this? I really hope I don't have to wait until the release of 10.4.11 to edit user accounts. If so Apple better release it soon!!

Message was edited by: DanIsHereI think the problem is that typically in Apache if you don't have an index.html file then the server will display a listing of files in its directory. This is controlled by having an "Options Indexes" directive in the configuration file httpd.conf.
If your permissions on the folder in question don't allow you to read the folder contents, then if your index.html is missing this error may come up.
Also, if you don't have an index.html file, and you have "Options -Indexes" then you will not be allowed to browse the folder.
Your best bet is to create a new index file. -

Problem when trying to print to my networked printer
I've installed an Airport Extreme Base Station, and each of my Power Macs has an Airport Card in place. I've set up a network with my Canon printer connected via USB cable to the Base Station. I can connect to the Internet on either Mac via the network I set up. I can print to the printer from the Host (the Mac running OS X 10.5.5); however, when I try to print from the other Mac (running OS X 10.3.9) I get these messages: 1) Connecting to 10.0.1.2 (this is correct) on Port 631, and then 2) Unable to connect to IPP Host. Operation Timed Out.
