Hide first plot in XYGraph

Hello,
I found many threads regarding my problem, but I did not find any useful. I have an XY Graph with multiple plots, and visible plot legend. I have enabled the plot visibility checkbox on the legend. It is very cool thing, but I am in trouble with the first plot visibility. I can not hide the first plot using its checkbox.
Can anyone explain why can not make the first plot hidden by its checkbox?
I found many workarounds how to make it hidden using property nodes, but the space is limited on the panel, so I do not want to place an useless button like: "Press to Hide the First Plot"

Only first plot of waveform chart has run-time menu

Hello again all you helpful forum-goers!
My multi-plot waveform chart is working decently well, but now for some reason only the first plot in the plot legend displays a run-time customization menu when I click on it while the VI is running (allowing me to select the plot color, etc.). All the other plots do nothing when I click on them. I do not have any mouse-down events or filter events of any kind in my VI. I programmatically set the number of plots and the size of the plot legend, along with each plot's name, y index, and color. Any ideas as to what might be going on?

Okay, hopefully this will help get some more thoughts / answers flowing. I've copied my strip chart from my actual VI into a test VI, and it still exhibits the problem. On the other hand, I have created a new strip chart from scratch, and it works fine. I have attached both VIs here for you to see. My guess is that some property of the first chart is set incorrectly or something, but I cannot figure out which one (and there are so many!).
Any assistance you can give would be appreciated. The challenge is to get the chart in the first VI working (plots other than the first responding to a mouse click to change their color or other attributes), via changing some attribute of the chart (and being able to tell me which one you changed!).

BUG check box XY Graph First plot not functioning

A new feature in LabVIEW 2010 or 2011 is very useful. But in LabVIEW 2012 the first plot is not functioning. I'm able to set Visible/NotVisible using property node. But when I click on Plot 0, noting. Other plots are ok.

Hide First Operation sub screen from PM order main screen

You mean the one at the bottom of the HeaderData tab?
You could try the following:
- Field-selection in the IMG (although I don't think this will work)
- View profiles for the order (similar to notification config)
- Transaction variants SHD0
- Development

How do you hide the grid in a scatter plot?
I think there must be a simple way of doing this

Once you have it enabled for an account, and provided that you also have it for at least one scenario, you right click on a cell and select "Cell Line Item Detail". You fill in "Detail" and amount and once you save it sums up for you the amounts on the same cell.

Hide single plot in graph

Hi,
I have a graph with 16 Plots and I want programatically to hide 1 of them with a Boolean switch.
I've tried with the plot property node but I can't figure out how can I select a specific plot.
Does anyone know how to do it ?

Hi Kobi
The 'Plot Visible' and 'Active Plot' property nodes of a waveform graph should be all that's necessary, I've attached a really quick example.

Image background and plot in XYGRAPH whith same zoom and panning values

Hello!.
I need to write an application that takes an image file (jpeg, bitmap, etc) and applies it inside a labview window. I need to be able to zoomin on a selected area and pan in every direction whith the same value of plots.

Daniel ,thanks for the reply but may problem is that the when make zoom in the back picture the above plot zoom no change. I will make to copy programatically the zoom picture in the XYGRAPH zoom. But the zoom in the GRAPHXY (i belive) is maked only whith the graphpalette. This is the real problem

Can I add a second plot to an XY graph without having to re-draw the first?

I'm trying to figure out a way to add a second plot (a linear fit between 2 cursors) to an XY graph without having to redraw the first plot (the underlying data). The reason this is important is that the first plot is typically hundreds of thousands of data points (or more), and it is slow to redraw. I would like the user to be able to move cursors around and dynamically do a linear fit to the underlying data in the range between the two cursors, with the line being drawn as the second plot.
My current program just wires both plots to the graph and re-draws both. This ends up being quite slow.

Hide the First Role in the TopLevel Navigation

Hi,
I am working in EP 7.0 SP14. As per my scenario, i need to be hide first role in the list of top level navigation. I have set the priority as high for this role and also one page will be assigned in this role. After login, I want to be hide the role only but page will be display in the content area. I couldnt get any clue for this.
Please help me.

Hi Prakash,
        Modify Entry Point property of the page in your role to 'TRUE'. And ensure that All the parent levels ( like Worksets and Roles Has Entry Point as False). This way you will directly see your page and Role will not be displayed in Top level navigation.

How to show and hide plots which are stacked and plotted on the one graph?

I am currently designing a Logic Analyser with 8 channels. These are plotted on a graph, stacked on top of each other. The user is able to select which plots he/she wishes to examine (i.e 1,4,6). I need to figure out how to hide the plots not required and show the plots needed.

Did u say stacked?? then you must be using a chart not a graph

Xy graph multi plots

Hello,
I have a need to plot a curve on an X-Y graph which is Voltage (Vsd) vs Current (Isd). After the first plot, I need to set another voltage (Vg) to a new level and repeat the plot. I would like to do this without erasing the original plot so I can generate a family of curves. Currently, I am using one trace on the graph which traces to zero at the beginning of the next plot. I need to create an entirely new plot on the graph instead of the original going to zero at the beginning of each plot. I cannot plot all curves at the same time because the voltage (Vg) level will change with each curve. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Maybe I misunderstand the question...
Multiple plots on the XY-graph, means you need to put them in an array. If you don't have all the graphs at once, then you could simply build the array dynamically. I.e. you put the array in a shift register, and add elements (measurements) to it as you go.

I would like to plot two lines with an xy graph in realtime

I understand how to plot in real time with an xy graph appending to an array, but I would like to simply put a line so I can see when my first plot crosses a certain value on the y-axis, say at like y=30. So I would like to know how it is you can plot two lines in real time. I'll put in my vi so you can take a look at what I have so far. On my vi the array is shortened to contain only 5 values so as not to take up memory.

Hide delete option is not working in ALV List Display- urgent

Hi,
What do you mean by Hiding the records.
Deleting completely from the screen.
You can just delete the records from the internal table and pass to field catalog before displaying again.
or serach in the slis structrue for hiding the contents of the output.

for every radiobutton there is corresponding the select_option filed is associated to it

To hide select options you should use interface method REMOVE_SELECTION_SCREEN_ITEM of IF_WD_SELECT_OPTIONS.
Sample code :
Write the below code in the Event handler of Radio Button.

lv_r_helper_Class->REMOVE_SELECTION_SCREEN_ITEM(exporting i_id = 'Select_option1_id1').
This will hide first select option of your screen.Similarly pass select_option_id2 to hide it and so on.

How do I fix the format of plot lines for an arbitrary number of sets of data plotted on the same x-y graph?

I have written a VI to control an LCR meter and perform sweep functions. I have two x-y graphs on my front panel (one for each of 2 measured parameters). The VI is designed with a button to take a measurement, plot the data, and then wait for another event (like write data, clear plot, or measure again). The user can take simultaneous measurements and these are plotted on top of the data already there in the same x-y graphs (using an array of clusters with shift registers). There is no limit on how many sets of data can be on the x-y graph.
Now, my issue is in formatting the plot lines (color, thickness, marker type). I can fix the first plot line by adjusting the parameters of the x-y graph. However, I also want to control the format of all consecutive plot lines. How can I do this for an arbitrary number of lines? The main thing I want to do is to have all of them show the square marker type (the default is no marker type, just a line).

Hi maximum23,
You can use properties of plot to format the plot lines. You just have to select Active plot using property and then select color and line width etc..
You can define color and width etc parameter by asking user or you can just make them default.
