Hide Link in footer area of print out after Printable page is clicked

Hi all
In iExpense after submiting the claim there is a printable page button appears by which user can get the print of the
claim raised. But ont point is there ... in printout of the claim (hardcopy) .. in the footer area of the paper .. a
link appears i.e. http://erpdev.mycompanyname.com:/OA_HTML/OA.jsp?OASF=OIE_EXPENSE_R..
my client doesn't want that link in print out of the claim but I am unable to find that link in my OAF page...thant link
only appears in printout.
Is there any idea to hide that link in printout..
Please help...

Have you got any solution to hide the link in printable page.We also have the same type of requirement where we have to remove TIP from printable page.

One work around is, if the Kindle app allows, make a screen cap of the page and print that.
Hold down the sleep and home keys and relase them together....kinda like you'd press the shutter of a camera, a joint quick down and up
You'll see a white flash and hear a shutter sound. Then look in your photos app and you'll see the images. You can print them just like you'd print a photo.

Print Preview is OK, Printed Out as empty page

This is problem i faced, the printed report is not as per print preview
When i send a customized report for printing, at User Own Spool Requests, print preview, the report is display correclty,
but when i sent to printer, it is printed out as empty page. What could be the problem?

On that case there is a Problem with writing to spool.
try to call the CALL FUNCTION 'GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS' before displaying the Report.

Cannot change the print margins when printing out my spreadsheet. Tried clicking on format and then Document but when I enter a number I always get " invalid number".

I cannot change the margins when printing out my spreadsheet. I clicked on the format then on document and got a entry box. But everytime I try entering a number to change the left margin ( tried .5 ) I get an " invalid number " response. I can print out the spreadsheet but always get a message telling me the margins may be too small and data may be clipped. Data doesn't get clipped but left part of the spreadsheet is right at the left side of the paper. Want to change the margin so I don't get that message.

Naming the spreadsheet app would do wonders for getting an answer.

This can be the result of selecting the wrong driver. An older, unsupported laser printer will sometimes work with the generic Postscript driver.

Have you tried resetting the PMU? The PMU (Power Management Unit) has control over the sleep function, so resetting it may help if the iBook is sleeping unexpectedly.

ARE 1 Print out

Can you please tell me where can we take ARE 1 doc print out ?

Hi Veera,
While creating ARE-1 Document against the Excise Invoice, you have to tick the check box for Print ARE-1 Document.
Then while saving it asks for the communication method and give BL11 or local printer. Then if you click on Print Preview. It shows the form to be printed. And the movement ARE-1 document is saved, the print out will come.
Else you have to go with spool request- schedule jobs and get the print out.
Hope this addresses your requirement.

Pages are not printing out correctly. I have tried to fix in the options, with no luck. It prints out with spaces in between the letters.

When I go to print any page from an email, webpage, pdf file..the pages print out very wide fonts to the point where it is unreadable. I have tried to fix in the options with no luck. I can provide you with visuals if you need me to.

Words are not printing out

I am trying to print a table document and all words that follow a subscript dont print out, why?
eg 4th (subscript th) February and February doesnt not print only 4th.
Also why can you not subscript automticaly like in older version of Pages?

Similar problem reported in Pages 5 table with bolding.
The only solution there was to scrap the whole table and start again.
90+ features have been removed by Apple.
Pages '08/'09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
I suggest trashing/archiving Pages 5 after Exporting your files back to PAges '09 format.
Rate/review Pages 5 in the App Store, so others don't fall into the tarpit

Can I print out the source pages for hyperlinks in a pdf

I have Acrobat X Pro. I've created the above PDF that shows hyperlinks as a clickable "Read more about it...." link. A reader has asked for a PDF that she can print out, yet it would somehow show the actual URL address that the "Read more about it..." link goes to. Anyone know of a way I can provide her with this?
Also, I thought I had found a way of printing a PDF and Acrobat would "grab" the actual web pages I've hyperlinked to, but I can't find any such functionality. I'm beginning to think I dreamed it.

Took a look-see at the PDF. In all fairness it is the reader's responsibilty to create the PDFs for the web content at the "read more" link's end.
That content is not "yours" (you don't have the authoring files and don't deploy the web content).
The reader(s) who want PDF can use Acrobat to create PDF from the web pages.
Anyone with Acrobat Pro can use the application's "web capture" feature.
Takes time and doing it in your case is likely not what you get a paycheck for.
Time spent on it is time not spent on the job's "main thing" eh.
As well, other's web content Changes! Are you going to check the targets of the links every day, once a week, or .... how often? Changed content = new PDFs via web capture and distribution of same. How does that play to legalities?
All and all, it gets ugly fast.
But then it is your call eh.

we r facing a problem ,after making a po when we edit it for additon of some more materials and take the print out ,only item that were there in po intially are coming , it is not printing all the items that are that are added i po, but po print out is coming ok ,it is showing alll the items,can anybody help why it is coming like this .points will be awarded surely

In Message determination for PO, you have an output type (eg.,NEU) for printing the changed PO.
This has to be created(if not maintained) and maintained in "Fine tuned message control" in SPRO and it should be ticked in the last column.
Try this and it should work.

Printing Non Modal External Window - print out additional blank page

Hi All,
I am printing out a content of a web dynpro view as a non modal external window with the browser print functionality.
Even if the content of the web dynpro view is not more than the half of a page the browser print functionality prints 2 pages. The second page is a blank page.
I tried to change the external window size in web dynpro, but it is still printing 2 pages.
How can I set / configure the browser print functionality, so it prints only the page that contains the web dynpro view content?

Hi,
I'm guessing the concurrent program is outputting text (character mode) as opposed to PDF?
This could be a number of reasons:
1. Printer driver issue, e.g. the number of lines printed on the page is more than is defined for the printer driver: Try reducing the "Rows" on the current program definition
2. Printer PRT issue, extra page break could be being inserted.
3. The "box" in the report definition containing the address could be being expanding due to the extra address line, but not enough space so it forces a new page to be printed.
