Hierarchy looks OK in MONITOR, but can't activate under InfoObject tree

Hello Experts,
I created a customer profit center hierarchy and load the hierarchy using a flat file.
Under Monitor, I get the Green light and when I double click on the Hierarchy, I get the diagram of the hierarchy, almost very much to what I am looking for.
The problem is that when I go to the InfoObject tree, I see the Hierarchy under it is not activated. When I try to activate it, I get the error message Hierarchy contains no data
I also went into the customer infoobject, Maintain master, and there appears to be nothing in it.
What seems to be going on?

You can use it in your reports."</i> - What I meant was in the case of sapuser sap he might have reloaded the hierarchy or there was no change in the hierarchy data since the last load. So his hierarchy would not need to be activated and can be used directly in reports.

When you say that it is ready for reports, what did you mean? Was the purpose of "loading hierarchy by flat files" just to creae the structure of the hierarchy ?
Or, to pupulate the nodes of the hierarchy with the master data?
Or, i now have to populate each node with the master data? If so, then I think the entire process does not save time at all? Your thoughts?</i> - The hierarchy would contain the master data and you would not populate the nodes again. The hierarchy would be used to display the transcational (Cube) data in the hierarchial format you had defined in the hierarchy. Hope I have made things clear.

I spoke with Apple Support this morning and they believe anything MobileMe related is due to the conversion over to iCloud that's taking place.
As for other email clients, check with your host to see if settings have changed on their end. I use inmotionhosting.com and over the weekend the updated their outgoing requirements so that a password authentication is now needed.

Force quit/Restart the Finder.
Then for safety...
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.

I understand you are not Apple but i was presuming that some logic or technical reason i miss was behind this.
I really do not see any logic business pratice. If i understand i can be agree or desagree but as minima i know the rules and why.
to sumarize...my story
my id was with XXX and i bought Itune match one year with this account and 4 device are conected with the same account.
on Ipad device i change my ID to YYY then .... because i need to update some apps and connect to itune match i came back to ID XXX then no problem to update apps but .... no way to come back to itune match.
.... no way to use itune match anyhow with Ipad and account XXX linked with account XXX. WHYYYY ??? no clue.

4x3 format SD tape import looks ok on monitor , but, the DVD produced does not display correctly ? The format looks slightly thinner in width?

I have been archiving old Hi- 8 SD tape and when displayed on the PC monitor looks right. And looks correct on a TV Monitor.
But, the DVD when produced looks right on a TV monitor but, thinner when imported back as a DVD into Adobe Premiere Pro , how can I adjust this ? I know a 1,000pixels instead of 720 would fix the issue, i have checked it in Photoshop.
I have others that need extra editing, as the previous Sequences have been removed from the computer ?

usually this is caused by pixel aspect ratio. premiere usually reads it properly, but if it doesn't you can change it to a new value. in the project bin, right click the file(s) and choose modify, interpret footage. there is an option for pixel aspect ratio, you can try some till one looks right. the 1.21 or 1.45 might do what you are looking for...

Received from Apple new iPhone 4s but can not activate. Screen states activation servers not available. What's next step?

I purchased a new iPhone 4s as a replacement for a 3GS. The phone starts up with configuration, recognizes my home network wi-fi, but for the past 3 days, all I can advance to is the activate your phone screen. I have tried through iTunes, Wi-Fi and cellular and while each has a different wait time initially, in the end it is the can't activate the phone message with the description that the activation servers are unavailable. Considering that the first iPhone 5 will start this process tomorrow, if the servers aren't prepared now, what will be happening to everyone tomorrow? I am in Oklahoma and all of my devices received the updated IOS 6 without problems, but this new phone is just waiting.

When Apple replace an iPhone and the faulty one is locked to a carrier in this case it will be T-mobile ( they do not sell unlocked iPhones) they will replace the iPhone with a locked one to that carrier
So in theory you should have an iPhone locked to T-Mobile
Call Apple and they can tell you if it is locked and to which carrier .
I am also doubtful that a BB sim will work in an iPhone even if unlocked due to BB Messenger

Have EXCELLENT credit but can't activate?

I purchased two iPhones at an Apple store on Friday but waited to activate based on the thousands of posts that indicated delays. Upon reading that things had gotten better, I decided to activate the phones via AT&T's Family Plan through a new subscriber account this evening. I began the activation process by providing all the info that AT&T via iTunes requested: Provided my address, email info and SSN and submitted to AT&T. I expected to be directed to the activation pane w/in 3 minutes but was instead informed that based upon the credit information pulled from my submission that I could not proceed any further w/activation. Rather, I was given three options: (1) Visit an AT&T store, speak w/a rep about monthly payments and apply for a pre-approved credit code(!?); (2) Use my iPhone in a GoPhone environment; or (3) attempt to activate my iPhone again.
I tried Option #3 and tried again to activate my iPhone with the same results-"PLEASE SELECT FROM THE THREE OPTIONS BELOW.."
MY CREDIT IS EXCELLENT, so needless to say this problem was VERY DISTURBING. Consequently, I pulled my credit reports online this evening and indeed my score and reports do NOT indicate any issues that would be problematic. My credit rating remains excellent, so why couldn't I activate my iPhone?!!
I called AT&T's iPhone support line and they forwarded me to their credit department, but my calls have gone unanswered.
Has ANYONE run into this problem? Could it be that the activation commenced so late (after midnight CST)? What's going on here?

I had the SAME problem. Calls to AT&T only said "Go to the store" The problem was I put a credit check hold on my account a few years back to verify with me my identity (Id Theft). Since then I have got a new car and CC and that had never been a issue but AT&T brought it back up. What worked for me was a trip to AT&T store with a twist . . . At first they did the phone call 2 the credit department. I verified the stuff for the lady and they gave me a verification number. Of course the verification number they gave me the first time did not work so I did not want to take any chances of another drive. Then me and the store clerk came up with another plan.
He signed me up for AT&T service in the store. And started the port of my number to new "sim card" which was free. I put the card in my GF's Razr about 20 Mins later and the port was complete (VERY FAST). From there I went to the Itunes activation screen and this time clicked current AT&T customer, upgrade worked like a dream. Up and running in 5 mins.

So I have a Mac Pro at work and it's connected to a 30" monitor and a smaller monitor. I have the larger one set as the primary screen, but when the computer boots it always uses the smaller monitor as the primary, load all my icon on the smaller monitor, then finally swaps everything to the larger monitor. This messes up all my icons on my desktop since they go from placment on a smaller screen then back to the larger one.
Is there any way to force the mac to boot up with the larger monitor? Or not screw up all my icons?

A previous attempt was made through my home network, but after much name-calling at the tech support (dude wasn't listening to me) for the print server I bought (which SAYS they work with Mac... such BS), I gave up on that and hooked it back up to the PC. it worked fine. ButI want it to work with the Mac. It should be able to.
So, now it's hooked up, via USB, directly to the Mac. I love this MF printer... it's the one one I could find a the time that did everything I wanted... and I wouldn't go back to HP, even if they paid me. (that's what I had before)

Sounds like you may have forgotten to upload the images and dependent files (like .css and .js) when you uploaded the page itself.
Another possibility is you have used a page naming structure like MyPage.html but links to files with a naming structure like mypage.html. Many servers are case sensitive, so MyPage.html and mypage.html are different files to a server. To your local OS, they are the same file, so pages would work locally and suddenly break when uploaded.
There are other possibilities, but without seeing the page, as Ben suggests, it's impossible to say what else could be going wrong.

Scrolling credits - look great on iMovie, but can't see in iDVD

I made an iMovie for a group I traveled with this summer, and everything is working great except for the rolling credits I created at the end. Instead of the black background with white credits, all I see is white. I can't see other posts with this same problem. Any suggestions?

I know it's more than a year later since this question was posted, but I don't see the answer to resolve the issue. Is there an answer? I've done what you posted here and nothing happened. I'm using iMovie 9.0.9.
I used iMovie 9.0.9 to make this and open in iMovie 9.0.9.
I've also tried to open the file in quicktime and other applications to no avail.
I finished the project and went to file/finalize project. It took about 30 minutes to render the file. Now the file ends in rcproject.

Looking at Lion Server but can't tell what is really inlcuded

I am thinking about getting the Mac Mini with Lion Server installed. How every, I have found the documentation to be confusing. I am needing a Filemaker, SMTP, PHP, MySQL web server mainly. I would really like to talk to someone who is using this type of setup first.

Indeed Lion will do all of what you need. MySQL is not included with Lion however. You'll need to install it yourself.
It's not that bad though. I've walked a class of Grade 12's through it! hehe
Lion instead comes with PostgreSQL. I'm not familiar with it, but I assume that it's basic functionaly is similar to MySQL.

Bought a unused copy of Photoshop CS but can't activate, please help.

On amazon i just purchased a old unused copy of photoshop CS for $200 (the only even remotely non disgusting/laughable price for a SOFTWARE like the photoshop cs's ranging from $600-1000+)
and the seller informed me, when i asked about it, if it could still be used and installed and the seller told me yes.
It arrived yesterday and i can't even get it to install or activate, the "activation server" is down, and the phone line auto-message says it no longer helps.
Did i get scammed and lost $200 (which i probably won't even be able to get refunded) and now am stuck with a photoshop disc that i can do absolutely nothing with?
Is there absolutely nothing that i can do in this situation?

Adobe has made no other option possible for owners of "activation required" versions earlier than CS2 so CS2 is your only option regardless of the wording at the link..

No-one knows the future of deactivation of existing products. In the history of activation, Adobe has only ever shut down an activation server once (CS2) and made an alternative possible for owners of that version.
Activation is Adobe's inherently flawed attempt to curb casual piracy. It was always going to fail eventually. It only ever hurts legitimate owners of the software. The Cloud is Adobe's next gen anti-piracy measure.
I'm extremely repulsed by the idea of having to pay a monthly fee for CC and would rather pay a flat (but realistic) price for the CS, but will go to photoshop CC if there is no other choice because an online workshop classes program i'm looking to sign up for requires either photoshop CS or CC (but strongly discourages elements).

If you're signing up for online classes, I would suspect they expect you to be running either CS6 or Cloud versions of the software.
Learning Photoshop online using 11 year old software sound like a recipe for confusion and frustration.

Why can I not see shared applications on iTunes on a Mac but can on Itunes under Windows

1. I have a Mac Laptop, a Windows 7 laptop and an IPAD Air. I have an application on the IPad that shares files.
2. On both the Windows and Mac machines, I have the latest versions of ITunes installed.
3. With Image and IPhoto, I can browse the Documents directory of the shared application on the IPAD.
4. On the Windows Machine, on ITunes, under the Apps section, at the bottom of the screen, I can see the shared application and the shared Documents directory.
5. On my Mac Machine, on Itunes, under the Apps section, at the bottom of the screen, I can NOT see the same shared application on the IPAD that I see on the Windows machine.
6. In the upper right corner of Itunes on the MAC it does show "1 App" but I see no way to click on the app under ITunes and to browse the shared directory on the IPad
Any thoughts on what I have to do to make the Shared App show up on the Mac that shows up on the Windows machine in ITunes?

Did you put your audiobooks on your computer?
They will only be where you put them. You need to copy them from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer.
