History of document attachment and de-attachment (through CV01N)

Hi experts,
We have a requirement as under:
User created a PR and attachment a document to it. Subsequently PO was created and material procured. Later the requisitioner refused to accept the material claiming that the material procured is not as per the requirement. Then purchaser claimed that we have procured the material as per the details available in attached PDF file in PR line item. When checked there was no document attached to said PR and line item.
Now, please help in finding the history in PR document for attachment and de-attachment of document in PR through DMS tcode CV01N.

The document must exist.CV01n transaction is used purely for creation of a Document Info Record.A simpler approach to retrieve the created document would be via CV04n transaction meant for search.Herein,navigate to 'Object Links' tab,and under 'Purchase Req. Item' sub tab,key in the PR details and click 'Execute'.The relevant details should be available.

Using your example and not modifying it, I get the e-mail form filled out correctly and the pdf attached, however, I'm not prompted to sign it.

winmail.dat files usually mean the email has been sent in rich text format - you could either the person who sent it to send it in a different format e.g. plain text or HTML, or there are a few apps in the store that support it (search for winmail.date in the store).

I am not too sure if anyone can DELETE a Payment Term linked to a BP. The system would not allow this. If at all a Payment term was deleted, I don't think it can be traced.
It is therefore very important to use Proper user authorization so that only people authorized to do certain things are doing it and not everyone.

My process is pretty simple....with a message open I click the attach icon (paperclip) at the top of the message, then navigate to where the file is located and select it. You may carry this thro IE02 services for objects then u can attach here. but not advisable.

Document scanning software that allows for custom search fields, attaching a thumbnail to the scanned document file, and works with any scanner?

I am a professional photographer, with years of paper model releases. I would like to find a document scanning software that works with my exisiting flatbed scanner (Canon MP250) that I can customize the seach fields for (ie. name, agency, job, etc.) and also attach a thumbnail image to as a job reference. I would like the document to be searchable as well. I've looked at a few different document scanning software companies, but I haven't found one that allows me to attach a jpeg file to a scanned PDF. Does anyone know if software like this exists?

You need to hide them on form load for user. Add one more hidden control in form and keep control value blank initially. Now add rule on button submit to set the control value to some other so you can hide/show the button.
Now add rule on approve and reject buttons that, if field1 is blank then hide this control.

Need to have much data along with graphics on the payslip. This includes Leave data(days paid, LOP, Payroll days, etc.), gross salary break-up, Year-to-date details, Tax details(line items), Standard Salary components, company logo, custom messages, etc. on the payslip. We are running India Payroll on SAP 4.7.

Attaching and Detaching Observers to a document, what is the correct way?

I came across below code snippet in many of the sample PLugins where Observer is being:
Attached on the kAfterOpenDocSignalResponderService
Detached on the on kBeforeCloseDocSignalResponderService
Same DocRef is being used in both the cases but the Observer being referenced is new each time, so is it a correct way to do it? and Will it work?

If you look closely, you can see that every time a detach is being called after attach, a new Observer reference is created.
Is correct way to do it?

with InterfacePtr you create a new reference to the observer not a new instance of the observer. The reference will be destroyed at the end of the function or code block. The instance of the observer will be destroyed if the reference Counter will be 0. So the instance of the observer is the same at attach and detach. The InterfacePtr (i.e. the reference to the observer) is temporary in each function.

We have requirement wherein we have to attach a URL to an object through OAOR (Business Document Navigator).
As per SAP documentation on link below

How to Change Outlook Default Folder for Insert-Attachment and Save Email/Attachemnt while Outlook is open (VBA)

Office 2010 32bit, VBA
Is it possible to programmatically do the above while Outlook is running? If so, I'm hoping to make that change from a Word macro.
I tried tinkering with the reg key and that doesn't work because it appears Outlook only respects it at startup time. Similary changing Word File-options-location of documents is respected only when Outlook starts.
I'm looking to seamlessly keep Outlook's default folder in sync with Word's default folder as the users change working folders in Word, which they do many times per day (and they chose the folder among a couple of thousand possibilities).
I'm hoping there is a difficult-to-find Outlook object I can manipuate to get to the end result. IF there is such an Object I have been unable to find it.

Based on my research, I think outlook object model doesn’t provide the way to change the default folder for insert attachment and save email/attachment.
The way to change it is that we need to modify the registry setting and the outlook app should be restart.

You may create the add-in to custom these actions (e.g. attach attachment, save email)
