Homesharing only working on one computer

Homesharing on computer#1 fully working, able to fully access computer #2's library. Computer #2 can see Computer #1 library name but when I click it only does loading Computer #1 library for about 20 seconds then goes back to computer #2's music. I've turned off all firewalls. Both computers are on the same apple id and password.

Printing only works from one computer

I have an Epson Stylus C60 connected to the USB port on my Airport Extreme. There are two computers on the network, a PowerBook G4 and a MacBook Pro. Both computers connect to the network very reliably and have internet access. The problem is that the MBP cannot print to the connected printer. The G4 has always printed fine.
The MBP sees the printer as a Bonjour printer, and I can add it to the printer list without problem. When I try to print, I get a message in the print queue that there is a communications error with the printer.
In the airport configuration window, the printer is recognized and remote printing is enabled. Any idea why printing only works from the G4?

Thanks for your help. Yes, the driver is a universal binary and the printer works great when plugged directly into the computer. I just can't figure out why it won't work over the airport.
Any other ideas?

Flash only works for one user

Using IE7. I have three users on my computer. All
have Administrator level access. Flash only works for one of them.
When attempting to play a video on YouTube for example it says "You
either have JavaScrip turned off or an old version of Adobe Flash
Player."
JS is turned on and the current version of Flash Player is
installed.
So does anyone know what is going on here?

I was able to fix my problem of Flash only working on user
account. I did the following two steps to correct the problem:
1. First uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX
control by following the instructions stated in
tn_14157.
2. Second Download SubInACL from Microsoft to fix permission
issues that prevent the Flash Player installation by following the
instructions stated in
fb1634cb.
Following the above two steps, fixed my problem of only
having Flash run on only one user account. Now it runs on all four
user accounts.
As a side note: The Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control
would not run in user accounts with Limited access. But when I set
the permission of the user account to administrative, then Flash
would work.

Problem: Bookmark sync only works in one direction

I have 2 computer, computer A has vista and computer B is a netbook with XP. The problem is that the bookmark sycn only works in one direction.
For example: both my computer has the same book marks (previously sync with X-mark which is now disabled). I decided to do some clean up on computer B. If Y sync computer A, nothing happens, but when I sync computer B, all the cleanup I made has been undone since computer A override all the changes I made to B.
In other words, the changes I made to B can never be applied to A.

When you're doing a "clean-up" like that you need to use '''Reset Sync''' in Tools > Options > Sync - Current Account = Manage Account and use the ''' ''Replace all other devices with this computer's data'' ''' option. See the attached screenshot - use the third option.

Reset the SMC and PRAM
SMC Reset:
Shut down the MacBook Pro.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
PRAM:
Shut down the MacBook Pro.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.

Apple TV homesharing only works on ethernet

Hi -
I have a 2nd Generation Apple TV connected to my wireless network. I have a Windows 7 64-bit computer with my iTunes library connected to ethernet on the wireless router on the same network. The only way I can get the Apple TV to see my iTunes library is to plug an ethernet cable into the Apple TV and connect it to the router. That is not ideal since I need a long cable across the floor to accomplish this. Does anyone know of any troubleshooting techniques I can use to allow the Apple TV to see the content of my Windows 7 iTunes library without ethernet? It would be wireless to ethernet. I am using the same Apple ID for the ATV and the Windows 7 iTunes.

Ipod does not recognize that it is only synced to one computer

After connecting my ipod (classic 80gb) to itunes to transfer some music and
charge battery, this appears on the screen "This ipod is snyced to another itunes library. An ipod can be syced with only one itunes library at a time. What would you like to do?" It is only synced to one computer.
What adjustments do I have to perform to make it work like it should?

Welcome to the forum.
I can think of three basic ways to accomplish what you wish to do:
Use the Project Archiver to archive your Project (and check the box to gather the media files), to an external HDD. Probably the easiest way to do it.
Copy the Project and ALL media files to an external HDD, but be prepared to relink the media files to the Project, as the drive letter (part of the Absolute Path) will have changed.
Edit loosely, and Share to an AV file, which will be Imported into a New Project on that second computer. Or, edit VERY tightly, and do the same. I like the first, as removing, replacing Transitions, etc., can be much more difficult, unless that "tight edit" is 100% done.

If it really does not work, change your password here https://appleid.apple.com (Manage account) and try to add the account again. I hope it helps.

You need to give more info..
Firstly only works for what.. networking.. backup.. wireless. You need more nouns.. more adjectives... describe what you want and what fails.. then we can figure out why.
Most likely you have bridged it when it should be in router mode..
Most likely you are using Lion or ML which has the airport utility bridge the TC by default.
Change it to working as a router. That might help.
If you press reset button it will default back to router btw.

Mouse Track Ball only working in one direction

Hello,
My Mighty Mouse is 3 months old and now the track ball is only working in one dircetion.
When I move the ball forward I hear the distinct sound and the scroll bar on e.g. Safari moves, but when I reverse there is no movement on the screen.
I don't hear the same sound as when I move the track ball forward.
I have tried to reboot but no improvement.
Have someone seen teh same issue? Is the solution to simply replace the mouse?

Nokia 6600 only works from one cell tower

I have this weird problem with my phone where it will only work off one cell tower. Once I leave the coverage of that cell tower it will not work anywhere else.
It started a few months ago and i'm not to sure why?
The funny thing is it's the cell tower on top of my building at work, so when i'm at work it will work (calls/txt/etc) but as soon as I go home or even go to another city it will not.
Any ideas?

The first thing I'd recommend you do is to reset your phone, but I can't tell from the 6600's webpage what OS you're running so I can't give you instructions on how to do this.
Have a look through your menus to see if you can find an option to reset to factory defaults, but please remember that doing so will wipe ALL data from your phone.
If you wish to backup your data you can do so using the PC Suite application which you can find here :

Google iPad Sync Microsoft Exchange - Sync only works in One Direction

I have setup my iPad to sync with Google calendar using Microsoft Exchange, which supposes to work bidirectionally.
I found that it only works in one direction such that anything in my Google calendar (includes all the subscribed calendars in Google) got sync to my iPad. After I add a new event in my Google calendar, it is pushed to my iPad.
On the other hand, any new event I add to my iPad calendar is not updated and shown in my Google calendar. This means the sync works only in one direction:
Google Calendar Event --- sync ---> iPad (works perfectly and the event is pushed almost pushed instantly)
iPad Calendar Event. --- sync ---> Google Calendar << FAILED >> (Event entered to my iPad never shows in the Google Calendar)
Sync works unidirectionally but not bidirectionally
Anyone has encounter this problem and is there any solution?
