i amlooking for a cord that i can hook up to my tv that will transfer audio as well as video. my tv doesnt have VGA however it has svideo. any suggestions?

Have you tried turning your phone completely off and then back on? After trying that you might want to Reset your phone by depressing the Sleep Button and the Home Button at the same time for at least 15 Seconds. Then try your App Download again. If those efforts don't work there are additional threads about various App Download issues you will want to review.

IPod touch 2nd gen hooked up to computer but iTunes doesn't recognize it

My iPod touch 2g 8GB has always worked fine and synched with the computer, but now the computer doesn't recognze. It is hooked up to the cable and in the USB port. The iPod itself shows that it is charging, so it knows it's in the computer. iTunes should show devices but it doesn't. What should I do? I can't synch new songs or apps. I tried reseting everything and hooking up my ipod to a different port but still the computer doesn't recognize it.

CAn some one tell me whats involved (not actual step by step- but in general) for hooking up my wifes puter to the net ?
Mine is a 9/07 mini now on the net hard wired to the cable wire. My wife brought the office computer home (a 1/06 mini) and want it to be on the net- its downstairs.
1. Do I put a mechanical splitter on the cable wire? and run to each machine? The cable wire enters my home, goes to a 3 splitter- 2 tVs and the cable line. I would be putting a 2 splitter on the cable line to go to my and the wifes machine.
2. Buy a router? is it just plug it in? or do I have to turn on something in the 2 minis- they have airport and change settings?

Your 'option 2' is the correct way to go to be able to use more than one system on your cable internet service.
At the moment, your internet cable should connect to a 'cable modem' and your existing mini connect to that. What you would do is connect the cable modem to the router you buy, and then connect both your system and your wife's to the router by ethernet cable (or wifi if you buy a wifi router). The specifics of how to set it up vary a little depending on how your cable service is set up and also which particular router you buy, but it's pretty simple. Indeed, for cable systems which don't require a login, you may need to do nothing more than add the router and switch everything on (router first, then after a minute, the systems)!

Don't know, how did you hook it up (what kind of cable)? You can send audio through an HDMI connection provided a MacBook Pro is (I believe) from 2009 or newer.
Converting to VGA or DVI will not send audio - if you're using that kind of connection, you'll need to add an audio cable from the headphones port.
Also check the Sound Out setting in the Sounds panel of System Preferences.

Problem with ipod mini and nano hooked on same computer

Last year I bought a mini and hooked it up to my computer. It works great. So great that I decided to buy a nano recently. The problem is...When I hooked up the nano to the same computer, I was unable to create or add playlists, and Itunes simply took some of my library from the mini and added it to my nano. The software that came with the nano won't install either because I have a previously installed version of Itunes. Anybody with more than one Ipod who can help me with this problem?? no apple store replaced. they said there were 3 apple programs that kept crashing in background, which ran battery down cause they kept trying to re-load.
they backed up phone to cloud, wiped out old software and replaced new software & new battery. since then won't sync with itunes on computer.

There is nothing to import.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer then launch iTunes. Everything on the new computer will be exactly as it was on the old computer.
