Horrible formatting of code when using library assets

I'm using library assets to manage my navigation. I then
insert the library asset into a template and use that template for
creating content. The idea is that I add or remove a navigation
entry in one place and it updates the entire site. That's working.
My problem is that the source code looks awful: it insists on
wrapping the code and removing indentations. Is this normal
??

Replace xml code when used as a xmltype converted from clob.

I am still new at all this so I will try to make sense.
I have the "sys_xmlgen" where it takes my clob_content which is a clob and converts it into the v_xml which is xmltype.

Business Partner Code when using *

In Business Partner code when the user want's to see all Business Partner and makes "*" appears the BP code, BP Name and Foreign Name.
All user see this information except one that doesn't see the Foreign Name.

"Foreign Name" is already select in the Form Setting.
You say that "This is a setting per user" but i dont think so. In Form Setting of the "List of Business Partners" i add "Account Balance" to one user and ALL users see the same information.

Error in SAP code when using VL02n

I am trying to use VL02n to do a PGI (post goods issue). The problem just started today when we activated a requirement on an output type. This error does not occur in development but only in Test. Multiple Body tags error when using library items

Hi all,
I have a navbar that I created in FW and exported as a DW
library item. When I drag and drop the library item (navbar) into a
site page, I get an error every time I try to save that page. The
error states that the body tag was in the wrong place and has been
moved to the right place. The problem is never fixed though and I
keep being spammed by the error dialog.
In reviewing the code, it appears that the library item has
its own body and preload. So adding the library item to the page
causes a duplication of the body tags and preload images code.
Any thoughts as to how I can fix this or avoid it would be
greatly appreciated.

You are right, no <htm> <body> or css styles go
into a library item.

Receiving an "Unknown Format" error code when submitting a form

Product: Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended
Hi, I'm trying to find out what exactly is Acrobat expecting as a return value on its form submission.
two parts to my setup:
1. The form. It is a garden vaiety form with a button on it which set up as follows:
Action -> Mouse Up -> Submit a form -> PDF The complete document
2. The receiver. This is a REST based service, expecting a HTTP Post.
For the most part, the whole setup works like a charm - the form is posted by the client, the server receives the file, creates a local copy and processes it correctly. After the post is successfully received, the last step on server is to send a reply to the client. This is where I’m getting stuck.
If I return an HttpStatusCode.Ok and a blank SOAP.Fault, I’m getting and “Unknown Format” error on the client side. I tried several different combinations/values/etc, including sending the result code only, but since I don’t know what exactly is acrobat expecting, I’m just shooting in the dark. Other error codes I’ve seen include “Invalid Server Response”.
Unfortunately I can’t find any guidance from Adobe on what Acrobat is expecting in return for the submit functionality, so any help/pointers are greatly appreciated.

Replace "Your message goes here." with the text you want to display, and don't change anything else in the sample. The value of the /Status key in the FDF is a PDF string, so it has to follow the rules described in the PDF standard (ISO 32000) for strings. So read up on it so you know how to properly escape/encode PDF strings.
Note that the server needs to set the MIME type of the response in the "Content-type" HTTP header to "application/vnd.fdf".

Imovie loses date code when moving library

I have years of taped video that I have imported without a date code and I have manually added the correct date within iMovie.
To save space I have now moved these files within iMovie to an external drive. All appears fine at first, the Event Library has all the correct dates on the new drive. However, when iMovie is closed and then reopened, it loses all the manually added dates, and I have one event for the date the files were imported from tape.
I have searched a lot of forums but have not found an answer. I could just do all that manually work again on the new drive, but there must be an easier way.
Would upgrading to iLife11 help?

I tried copy and delete in finder, but iMovie lost track of the files completely, perhaps you meant copy within iMovie, I'll try that later.
I just downloaded a free trial of Final Cut Pro X, and imported Imovie events. Again, this completely ignored all the time and date data added manually in iMovie. If it's a bug it I would have thought a few more people might have come across it.

Where to put page redirect code when using htp.prn

Apex 4.0 oracle 11g.
The user starts on page 7, chooses rows from a list and clicks a Run button which redirects them to page 10 which has a process (on load before header) using htp.prn to create a text file which the user then can save. The end of this process has apex_application.g_unrecoverable_error := true; because if it doesn't have this, the HTML gets put into the text file too.
Anyway, when the user is done saving this text file, to all appearances they are still on page 7 (since page 10 doesn't really load, just runs that process) but I want them to go to page 14 after saving, not stay on page 7. I can't figure out where to put the redirect. The branching on page 7 doesn't seem to get activated after they hit the save button of the popup file save window, page 10 never loads for a branch on that page to work and I tried to put

after the htp.prn call in but then the popup file download window doesn't come up at all and the user is immediately redirected to page 14.
This is the process - I've tried the redirect inside its own begin end; and it didn't make any difference. If I put it in a separate process, it never gets run because as soon as the htp.prn is done, all processing stops. Any ideas on how I can get this file created and then redirect user to page 14? I would recommend using Thread Safe Queues. Your acquisition callback can place items in the TSQ and then you can process the data in a separate thread. TSQs are nice because they allow you to install a callback function to run for certain events. Most importantly, you can install a callback for the Items in Queue or Queue Size Changed event which will run the callback if a certain number of items are in the queue. This lets you take advantage of multithreading in a simple and safe way using a standard Producer/Consumer architecture. However, you may still run into problems with this architecture if your acquisition thread is running much faster than the consumer thread. You could eventually overflow the queue. In that case, your only options are to either get a faster system, slow down the acquisition or do the data handling post process.

Are you getting the error in the XAML designer or at runtime? Do you know the underlying hex code associated with the error message?

Just try to put cover ones and open when security code screen appears don't do anything close cover, open again and you are in home page

My iPad 2 certainly does not do this with its magnetic cover. I call BS on this -- there's no way that happens as you've described.

Im not an expert with this fingerprint tool but I noticed here in forum that reinstalling the fingerprint software could help to get rid of this problem.
According the Toshiba website the newest fingerprint software is version 5.8.0.4024.
Do you have it installed? If not reinstall the fingerprint software and test it again.

When using library artworks created in Illustrator in Photoshop the 'placed' versions don't update in Photoshop even when they update in the library

I'm using a Mac and working in Illustrator and Photoshop. Here's my problem:
I would like to be able to add button designs created in Illustrator to my libraries for access in Photoshop. Pretty straightforward - just add the button to the library and then it appears in my library in Photoshop to be dragged and dropped into the file. I would assume that once you drop an item from the library into the page in Photoshop it would remain linked to the library instance but it doesn't seem to which is frustrating. So if I make changes to the original button in Illustrator Adobe then updates the library, but not all the placed instances on the Photoshop page/file. Am I missing something? If not that it is something that should be added.

Well, I think I found a workaround, although its ugly and not condusive to a nice workflow :-/

The bad part of this is then everytime you make an adjustment in an Aperture version and updagte the preview, you now have to go into iPhoto, find that photo, and make a change to it, revert to iPhoto original, (which is now the changed Aperture referenced preview), and the thumbnail gets regenerated. Ugly, and not very automatable .
I am going to try and start an email thread w/ the author of that blog post ot see whether he's found anything eise out.
