Horrible support from Redington Service Center in Gurgaon

I had submitted my Blackberry Curve 8900 handset to Redington Service Center on 13th of April at 2.30pm for repair of the handset speaker and microphone. The customer care executive took a payment from me for Rs. 200 and said the handset will be delivered maximum by seven working days. My service number is 00587
I received a call on 18th of April saying I will incur a charge of Rs. 4500 to repair the handset. I immediately confirmed that the charges are ok with me. I sent an email on 19th of April confirming the charges. Since I was relocating from Gurgaon to Hyderabad on the 24th of April, I requested the customer care executive repeatedly through phone calls and email to hand over the handset latest by 24th of April
Till date I have no response from them. I have tried calling many time....but on each occassion I am put on hold and then the call is disconnected. I am surprised with this attitude of Blackberry. This in no means reflects the professional standards and ethos of Blackberry.

    Take it to an authorized service center or Apple Store in the country where the phone originated.  Apple does not sell iPhones in Pakistan, nor will they ship them to Pakistan.

  • Will Apple take the responsibility? My retina macbook pro (late 2013) seems to be damaged after I received it from the Service Center.

    Two months ago, I had some problems with the hinges of the display screen I used to make weird sounds and I was finding it very hard to open and close the display. The Service Center guys said there was a problem with the hinges so, they replaced it. But after I received my macbook back, I noticed that one of the screws was not properly fitted but, I thought that it was not such a big deal and I would take it to the Service Center sometime later to get the screw fitted properly as was not a hinderance with my daily work. When I took my Macbook finally to the service center after 3 weeks, they tried to fix it and there were some problems. According to them the screw was somehow jammed in its place but they at the end fixed it. But, after I reached home, I noticed they applied too much pressure and the bottom of my laptop was bent from one edge and also the screw was in place but the the chassis was still loose and was coming out.
    Need Help. What can I do.

    Take it back and ask them. No one here can speak for Apple. This is a user forum.

    I am not getting proper response from Redington india, last month I sumitted my playbook to redignton khar mumbai office ,after 10 days i reiceved it . when i check for one day which again i found faulty. I returned  the same. But till date i have not received the replacement from them. Nobody is giving proper answer to my emails.

  • In Field Service Technician from Local Service Center

    Thoroughly disgusted trying to reach the LOCAL service center to request they temporarily unmount the distribution box for this seven-unit apartment  complex. The owners are having new windows installed in all units and my unit is the last one. Unfortunately, Comcast's cable distribution box is right outside my living room window and it's preventing the contractors from finishing the window installation. Which means I will have to miss another day of work so that we can get this resolved (hopefully) on Monday. The tech would have to unlock the box and remove the two bolts/.screws or at least loosen it enough so that the flange on the new windows can be placed behind the distribution box and caulked..  Unfortunately Bangalore or Dehli or whatever Asian call center couldn't fathom that a) the purpose of this box is not solely tied to my account and that I shouldn't be charged for the service call, my service is working so why did I need a service tech? C) this wiring is in the walls so you'll have to be charged - no, it's completely outside of the walls and I can follow each cable to each unit ON THE OUTSIDE so again, not my service call.   I saw their vans in the neighborhood today so it would have been very simple if I had been able to contact the LOCAL service center. So now I have a ticket number for a FUTURE service call that I will have to fight Comcast over the billing of it to my account. Losing another day of work. while having everything boxed up so that the contractors can access the windows when they should be done this afternoon.  No, Comcast i do NOT want to answer a survey because you're negative numbers would not low enough for me to properly answer it truthfully. Yes, I could have driven the half hour to the service center.... IF I DIDN'T HAVE 3 CONTRACTORS RUNNING THROUGH THE APARTMENT.

    It is not possible to call any local service center. So, unless one of the Comcast mods here offers to help, the box will not be moved.

  • Very poor response from autharised service center "T Touch powered by HCL"

    i purchased my bbZ3 on 7 dec 2014 and after few months it started heating and reduces battry life, excessive heating and the main problem arises when sim card failed to detect  then i went to autharised service center t touch in new delhijob sheet no {REMOVED}, on 25/05/2015 my mobile seriaql number is {REMOVED},  compelet add is ground floor 114, veer savarkar block, vikas marg, shakarpur, delhi 110042 ,india. as my mobile phone is under warranty they refuse to repair it under warranty and said that it is sim card slot is damaged so they can not repair my mobile phone under warranty. after few days they said that my phone is not repairable and have to replace and i have to pay Rs. 6500 for it.
    pease help me , i did nothing to damage my mobile phone and its an internal damage please consider my request to give my phone back in good working condition as i purchased

  • HP 15-g049AU Notebook PC OS not supported by HP Service Center

    I recenlty bought a HP 15-g049AU Notebook PC [K5B45PA], from Flipkart on 19th October 2014. It came with Windows 8.1 preinstalled. In the box I didnlt received any CD. Now , when I tried to reset the Laptop it got stuck in between the process and after that for all the options it didnt moved a bit. Day before yesterday I visited HP Support center , requesting the fresh Installation of the OS, without even seeing my laptop, I have been directed to call to HP Notebook support number and ask for a Recovery CD which cost around 1000/-.
    After that I installed Windows 7 32 bit from one of my collegue, then found that all the network device drivers are not matching as the Notebook support only 64 bit OS. From HP website also got the information if drivers are not available for 32 bit that means for the specific model the OS only support 64 bit.
    Now my question is that where to go for getting the OS installed. Is not it HP's Support's responsibility? May I get a onsite support engineer who can resolve this.
    Dear Members please guide me how to come out from this sitiuation.

    This is a consumer to consumer forum.  You will not get any answers from someone on behalf of HP here.
    When you first got the notebook, you were supposed to make a set of recovery media by following these instructions.

    That is why no HP consumer PC's come with recovery disks.
    You will have to see if HP will send you the recovery disks under warranty.  If not, you will have to fork over the cash
    Now, what I can try to help you with would be to get W7 32 bit to work on your PC.
    Most of these W7 32 bit drivers should work for you...
    First, install the amd chipset drivers and reboot.  You want the first file listed on the webpage.

  • Unable to download / horrible support from digital river

    I purchased the upgrade to CS6 production premium and tried to download it many times, each time it timed out after around 25%. I finally got an error saying
    " Sorry,

    however when I eamailed digitalriver, I got a very curt email telling me to contact Adobe. If digitalriver is handeling downloads, why do they have such horrible service? I wrote them back specifically asking why their system told me to contact digitalriver but then their agent directed me to Adobe, but they didn't answer the question. This is in reference to order number 18862889424.

    Also I am going to get the information of databases that have connected to system center. This is the basic idea of my application. What is the best way to deployment for this kind of application. Also If you could please tell me the way to access to those
    details.

  • Service center not getting approval from Sony India

    Dear Samuel, First of all thank you for your concern about my issue. The problem is still unresolved. Today also i contacted the service centre but again the  same replay " your work is rejected by the sony". This is the 5th sony mobile am using and now I am planning to approach consumer court. That is the last thing I can do for this genuine case. Thank you

    I have purchased Zperia Z1 on exchange basis from Sony authorized service
    center (Madonna Electronics,MG Road,Cochin) on 04/03/2015. Previously I had
    Zperia ZL and due to mic complaints service center suggested upgrade. But
    after purchasing  Z1 and using 3 months I noticed  mic problem in Zperia Z1
    too (person on other side couldn't hear me).
    So I submitted the device on 25.06.2015 for service and till now it is not
    repaired.
    From the service center they told me that your work is not approved because
    whenever they try to create job it is automatically showing out of
    warranty. That is eventhough the mobile is in warranty,site showing out
    warranty. Service center has explained this issue to SONY INDIA but not
    getting reply from SONY INDIA.  So from their side they are unable to do
    anything unless they get permission from Sony India.
    So today (28.07.2015 at 11 AM) I contacted toll free number and talked with
    customer care executive and we had conference mode with Mr. Jefrin from
    modonna electronices.
    Later getting enough information from Mr. Jefrin customer care executive
    directed the call to one of the Manager in Sony India and I raised the
    issue to him. Later the Manager called the Madonna electronics and one Mr.
    Ajmal explained the technical issues to the Manager.
    Finally the Manager told me to write a mail regarding the issue. I forwarded the same letter hope they will solve it

    I am from Canada and have the Unlocked iPhone 4 and the phone is on LTE network, when I bought Apple Care + warranty I was told if I had problems I can get it fixed or replaced in Hong Kong.  I was told the wrong thing.
    I was at the Apple store in Causeway Bay, one of the Store TL from Toronto works there now, told me China/HK iPhone runs on a CDMA network and therefore cannot replace or exchange my phone for me.  Their phones doesn't have LTE network.. That might be a problem for you in India.  Every country's network is different and I think it's a case of miscommunications.
    The iPhone 4 comes with your basic 1yr warranty, unless you purchased extended warranty for another 2 yrs which might have coverage at India.  The best is to contact or email: Apple Warranty in the USA.  They're awesome.  They reply you back quickly & very informative.

  • Hp/Palms Service Center is a joke!

    Here's a little story about my bad experiences with HP/Palm.
    I have not been able to use my HP TouchPad since January.
    I have to say I've sent my HP Touchpad in for Repair over 6 or 7 times.
    The first time I ever sent in my Touchpad was only to fix the Vibration Motor which no longer worked. Ever since then, they have been returning my TouchPad back with new problems.
    The Volume Button was very loose and sunk into the tablet (not sticking out) Would have to press hard to make it work and when you shake that tablet a little bit. The Volume buttons would be hitting against the tablet, making a rattling noise.
    I probaly had to send in my tablet about 4 or 5 times because of that same issue that they never seem to be able to fix.
    Also I noticed that upper left corner of my screen would be slightly sticking out. HP/Palm's service center never fixed that problem either.
    The second last time I recieved my TouchPad back from the service center. There was noticable damage to the (Rubber Gasket) that sits between the Screen and the Outter Shell of the Tablet. and parts of the screen weren't locked in place and on the left side of the screen there was a glow when the screen was black, very noticable LCD Bleed. So once again like always I go back to request another repair. I send my unit back again for like the 7th time, and when I get it back, theres a paper in the box that says;
    We're Sorry that we couldn't get this back to you as good as new. The device that was returned to us is not repairable. This may mean that the device has suffered water damage or physical abuse, or it is otherwise damaged beyong a repairable state. It is now being returned to you in an unrepairbale state. You will be issued a refund if a repair fee was processed. Please contact Support if you have any question.
    This is BS. After my unit being through the repair facility more than 7 times, they now say it's unrepairable. After all the 7 times my unit has been "REPAIRED" they made it worse everytime. Now I have A unit with an LCD screen detaching on certain parts and not seated correctly, LCD had Bleeds on it with glowing spots when the screen is black, and the rubber gasket/edge is damage from them attempting to repair it. And now they claim I have done Physical Damage that they aren't willing to repair it anymore. They have done this damage and they blame me.
    Note that I have always been requesting to have the Unit replaced, not repaired because apparently these guys in Texas do not know what they are doing. All they do is either recieve it, clean the screen with a rag, pack it back up and send it back or they do something that makes it worse than it was before. They never are willing to replace it.
    I hope someone in the admin team can see this and help me solve this issue once and for all and get a **bleep** working unit. 6 months without using my HP TouchPad. The Service center is a joke, I'm very fed up with Hp/PALM. Please Help.

    The two piece charger and cord is standard for most devices these days.  While you may feel it is a "stupid" idea, it may be due to the fact you don't understand the design - the micro USB cable serves double-duty.  It can charge the device, and be removed to connect to a computer!
    If you had problems with the charger/cord, why did you send the touchpad in?  There was a bad batch of cords shipped, and HP would have replaced it had you asked...
    Now I'm off to try and answer the rest of your posts.. BTW, HP touchpads sell for much more than $65 on ebay, but it's your money. You should see what it can do with Android on it! ;-)

  • Dissapointed on Apple Service Center in Indonesia

    Hi, I'm Wendy, I'm from Indonesia..
    On 29 May 2010, I got myself iphone 3Gs 32GB officially..
    After i brought it home, i just realize that i was unable to make a phone call, every time i tried to make a call, there was no tone at all, i tried and i tried a million times and it didn't work..
    So, i was thinking, maybe something is wrong with my sim card? so i switch to another sim card with the same carrier operator..
    And what the result? Suddenly, the iphone said, no sim card inserted..
    I tried again and again but no result..
    Finally i took it back tomorrow morning (30 may 2010) to the place i bought last night..
    After a they checked it again and again (about 4 hours while i was waiting), i was told that my iphone have simcard slot issues..
    They will send this iphone to apple service center in Jakarta, Indonesia.. (I live in Medan, Indonesia)
    and promise me that i would get my iphone back in one week.. (Cause jakarta and medan is very near, just about 2 hours flight)
    I was having a hard time to let go my iphone while i just have it for about 10 hours!! But, i got no choice, i give it to them..
    (I'm not sure about this, but don't we have the rights to have the new iphone replacement cause we're having problem within 24 hours after purchase?)
    And what i have right now on 13 june 2010? about 2 week after i give it to them?
    I haven't receive my iphone..!! and i never get a single news about what is going on..!! I tried to contact them everyday, and they say that there is no news from apple service center..
    I really don't know what to do anymore..

    That would depend on Indonesian comsumer protection laws. In the USA, you have up to 2 weeks to return for exchange of refund

    What's odd about your story is that Apple doesn't actually do warranty repairs other than the battery - they issue a replacement phone (sometimes a refurbished unit).
    In Indonesia, official iPhone tech support is provided only by the carrier, Telkomsel, not Apple itself. If you aren't dealing with them, you aren't dealing with an official iPhone service center. If you are, Telkomsel are the only ones who can help you.

    long since I like the models and items sony. from start playstation, cameras, camcorders up, I've ever had. and a new camera that I bought two years ie compact cameras Sony Cybershot DSC H200. as of a month ago, a camera was having problems in lenses that would not close. and setting the automatic mode to move by itself. I came to the Sony Service Center in Makassar, precisely on Jl. Shop Pengayomann A5 / 05 (0411) 442340.
    operator initially said only two weeks to work on my camera. but this week has been more dau even want to go in a month tomorrow, dated July 9, no news from the service center. and I kept the call to the office service. as well as assorted reasons. there are no spare parts or technical constraints, and the last one I call to his office, he said the factory spare part is damaged. imported directly from Singapore. I think, ko new spare part it can be damaged before using that? how the quality of this Sony spare part? ugly? not good? why?
    I was disappointed with this situation, where soon it will Eid, want to return home as well to Java. but the camera has not been settled workmanship?
    nah, roughly what is the solution of the Sony plagued with this problem? please help, because he did not know to whom to complain. operator had just said: it's up to the father alone.

  • No Service and warranty support from Lenovo in the Service Center for K900... HCL Touch Jalandhar.

    I recently bought this phone on 25th day of Octuber 2013. And 17 days earlier while using the phone it suddenly restarted itself then never detects any sim card. After that I checked the sim card, cleaned it with a cloth and reinserted it in the phone but the phone didn't detects it, also tried other sim cards but no sim was detected in the phone. Then I made a call in the Lenovo smartphone customer care and I told them about the problem in the phone and they gave me addresses and numbers of two service centers; first in Chandigarh and second in Jalandhar. Jalandhar was the nearest SC for me, so I visited the authorised Service center of Lenovo in Jalandhar city "Logic Computers C o HCL Care"  then I gave the phone to their technician for inspection. After throughly inspecting the phone he announced that the phone's motherboard have to be replaced wih the new MB as the sim card slot is not working. Then they returned my phone and told me that the complaint for this handset is registered with them and I will be called whenever the motherboard reaches the SC. Now its already 16th day from the day I registered the complaint but I didn't received any message or call from the SC; instead I called them twice and they just have one answer that the complaint is under processing in the system and the part is not available in the company. They also told me that it might takes an month or never be repaired as the company is very irresponsible for after sale service support. Sol there's no support and warranty for the Lenovo Smartphones in India. It was my first Lenovo product and it just failed to prove that they worth the cost. If Lenovo Support really exist in India please replace or repair my phone as I had spent Rs 24000 over it. My complaint number is SRIN0701404240002; the complaint is registered by "Vaishnav Anand". Please prove yourself or I will spread all about your Bad Service Support all over the internet and registered a case against you in Consumer Court. Thanks

    Finally I've got another DVD recovery set from Lenovo. Now it works. Seems that the first DVD set was invalid .
