Hotkeys or shortcut assignment in CRM PCUI application

Has anyone done Assigning hotkeys or shortcuts (CTLN for New Account, CTLS for Save likewise )to CRM PCUI applicatoin. ex: CRMM_ACCOUNT ?

Sorry but I think this kind of documentation does not exist. However, the applications funcionality is the same (almost all) that in SAP GUI environment.

CRM PCUI Issue; tab product; no of items displayed configurable?

Hello everybody,
I am facing one CRM PCUI problem.
customer would like to set no of items, which can be max. displayed in CRM PCUI application CRMD_BUS2000115, on tab "product" on Level "Detail Area 1". As default max. 10 could be displayed, this is however not enough. if there are more items assigned to one order, page up/down functionality can be used, that's however not really helpfull for customer. e.G. for orders with 100 positions user hast to click 10 times to display all positions.
Which class/method is used in standard to set no of items to be max. displayed?
could I adjust that without modification?
Event: BTX_PRODUCT
Screen Element Type : MEDL
Group Tab Page: SLO_ODC1

Hi,
You need to identify the field group that you want to increase the 'no. of lines'.
say the field group is 'xxxx'
goto transaction CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C => Application Element => Field Group => Field Group.
Search the field group 'xxxx'. Now, select that line and scroll to the very right. You will see a parameter as 'No. Of Lines' and the value in that field will be '10'. change it to your desired value and re-generate the Field Group 'xxxx'.
This will increase the no. of lines that u want to diaplay on the screen by default.

Passing data from PCUI application to BSP page

Hi,
From CRM PCUI application, a BSP page is called for displaying a report. The behaviour of the report has to be different based on a data (field value) in the PCUI application.
How can I pass the data from PCUI application to the BSP page?

The weblog was very useful. Thank you.
In the current scenario, in the PCUI application there is a button, on clicking which a bsp page is displayed. This is implemented via the Navigation (URL generation) in CRMC_BLUEPRINT table. In the BSP page, on entering the details and clicking on a button, different APIs have to be called based on a flag. The flag is set in PCUI application but I couldn't pass the information from there to the BSP page. Can you please let me know how I can achieve this.

The People centic user interface is the user interface layer where the end user process the crm transactions etc.
go to SE 80 transaction and select the application as BSP application becouse pcui is bsp based views. type crm_bsp_frame under the application field and you will get folders select the select.htm folder and right click on the mouse and click on test then you will get the popup window enter the crm system user id and password you will get the pcui floor plan for entire crm applications in the browser select the lead and opportunity transaction floor plan click on the new floor plan option. then the new popup window will open and finally you will see the lead transaction or opportunity transaction pcui view to work on . these pcui views url will inturn you can assign to the enterprise portal to log on to single sign on to EP and access the pcui application for crm marketing sales and service module areas as well along with the contact and account mangement for business partners creation screen.

Calling custom BSP application from CRM PCUI

We are using the CRM PCUI for channel partner management. Since PCUI framework has some limitations as to how the data is formatted in the layout such as no multiple value selection ( Being a generic framework using blueprint tables we have to use the predefined layout settings and positions) we want to call a standalone BSP application to maintain some of the data such as marketing attributes. We want to do this by providing a link to the standalone BSP application where the data can be maintained. Since we will be calling this application in the create mode of a new BP, is it possible to integrate the whole application as one logical unit ? I mean we want to commit the marketing attributes within the same 'save' methods of the pcui framework. Is this possible to do ? Any ideas or input is greatly appreciated.

But it has one drawback: You can't use the Save button of the PC-UI applicaiton. You have to provide your own. But the usability enhanchement is rearly great.

Error while saving a Sales Order in the CRM Mobile Application

I am facing issues while saving a Sales Order in the CRM Mobile Application. I am getting the error message "Value Field KvLangu is not valid (Error: 236 / 1102)".

You should put mobile sales related messages in the forum "CRM Mobile applications"
This error message is coming because the language table SMOT002 might be empty in your mobile client OR it does not have all the values which have been customized in the system.
You need to have subscription based on publication "customizing objects" assigned to your site.

Several clients in CRM PCUI. Problems reusing the same iView for ValueHelp

Hi, all:
We are implementing a new scenario with PCUI (based on Case Management) and using the client number 400.
The problem is that this is the second scenario because there is an already customized scenario using client 200 of the CRM server and the same EP.
These are the symptoms:
a) Launching the application from the SAP_GUI (like a CRM BSP Application) the main screen and the value helps (pop-up windows) are working correctly.
b) Launching the application from a newly create BSP iView, the main screen appears correctly; but the pop-up windows are not working. These are the issues i have seen:
1.- The system object with the system alias SAP_CRM points to client 200.
2.- The iView that is called when the value help is clicked has the value SAP_CRM as the system alias. And it is accessing client 200 even thought the URL parameter sap-client=400 is passed to it.
I tried a workaround copying standard iView located in:
pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/specialist/com.sap.pct.crm/com.sap.pct.crm.roles/com.sap.pct.crm.core.defaultservices/com.sap.pct.crm.core.valuehelp
to another location in Portal Content and changing the parameter system alias to SAP_CRM_400 (which is a correct system object pointing to client 400). But i don't know how to configure the search to use this iview instead of the standard one.
Can anyone help me with this workaround or with other solution to this problem?

Step by step instructions to create a Simple PCUI Application

I am very new to PCUI and have been trying to get a simple application up and running for the last few days. There always seems to be some problem or the other. At times it gives a dump, at times it gives me a screen without the search request or search result area and when i get all of these done, my application just does not invoke the Query method.
I would appreciate it if you could give me Step by Step instructions to create a simple PCUI application to search for some data from an existing database table and display it.

Calling wrong BSP url in CRM PCUI

Hey
Im using CRM 4.0 PCUI 60.2 and issue with an event on the Quotation BSP. In this application you have the opportunity to print/preview an quotation. If i press this button, a new window opens with following URL:
http://myhost:8003/sap/bc/bsp/sap/ml_preview.do?
The problem is that this url is incorrect and i get an BSP error. The correct URL should be http://myhost:8003/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_ml_preview/ml_preview.do?
How can i change this url? should i do it in the config of the PCUI ? In that case HOW? or is it possible to make an alias in the transaction SICF?

CRM - BSP applications - Getting started

Hi Experts ,
I have a knowledge of BSPs used in R/3.
and for my project requirement now i am asked to study CRM BSPs.
And i am not aware of the CRM BSP applications at all.
what is the difference between BSPs and CRM BSPs ??
Can anybody give me a Document containing overview of CRM BSP applications?
Also for this do i need the knowledge of CRM functional areas?

Hi Ashish,
CRM BSPs and R/3 BSP are similar. They are similar, if you are designing custom BSPs.
In CRM we have SAP standard BSP applications which were develped on MVC architecture. They are 1) CRM_IC ( CRM Interaction Center) 2) CRM PCUI
These are standard SAP developed BSP application which are ready to work.
Each customer using CRM system, may need some customization in these Applications.
So in CRM we will work on These standard BSP applications as well on Custom build applications, depending on customer needs.

"Texts" tab in PCUI application

Hi CRM experts!
In CRM transaction CRMD_BUS2000126 (Activities), it shows a "Texts" (Notes) tab with some custom Texts Types for edit, when I open a activity.
But in the PCUI application CRMD_BUS2000126 this tab don't exists.
How can I activate or add this tab for the PCUI application? There are a easy way using only the blueprint tables? This "notes" tab exists in some PCUI structure?

obs: this tab is like the "Notes" tab, that appears in opportunities PCUI application under "Atachments" tab.

A structure used in CRMD_BUS2000126 has the required fields for "Notes" tab.
I created a new tab based on this structure.

Passing BP Number to PCUI applications CRMM_CONTACT & CRMM_ACCOUNT

Is there any way to pass the BP Number to the PCUI application CRMM_ACCOUNT before it is launched in the WebClient.
I had integrated these PCUI apps into WebClient.I will confirm the BP ,after confirming I will click on CRMM_ACCOUNT PCUI Nav Link,it should display the confirmed BP in the PCUI Application.
How to pass the confirmed BP Number to this PCUI application?
