Hotmail Inbox suddenly looks funny

Today after I installed Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac, I found out that the font and layout looked funny in my Hotmail Inbox webpage. But other webpages still look normal to me.
Could somebody explain why this might happen?
I've tried to change the font in preference and switch between text encoding but nothing seemed to be changed.
Is it something to do with the Office programs?

Video looks funny on G5iMac

Hi All -
Suddenly, movies look funny playing in Quicktime -- almost like they have some kind of Photoshop effect. When I play the same .avi files on other Macs, they look fine. Now I'm noticing that streaming video looks weird in Safari.
Any ideas? Is my video card messed up?

What troubleshooting efforts have you tried to correct the problem?
Have you tried repairing permissions & restarting?
Which version of Safari are you using?
Which version of QT are you using?
Do you have VLC Media Player and/or Perian installed? Both play .avi files in conjunction w/QT.
Suggest that you also cross-post in the QuickTime for Mac OS Forum if none of the above works for you.

When I delete Hotmail messages from my iPhone, they still show up in my Hotmail inbox. What do I do?

I love checking my emails on my iPhone because of the convenience, but every time I delete a message on my iPhone, the message stays in my Hotmail inbox, and the next time I use my laptop, I have to delete tons of old messages. You don't metion whether the car was hot or cold.

Hi there,
When you enter your username/password combination for the first time Firefox will ask you to remember it. Clicking yes will result in FF filling it in for you on your next visit. Please keep in mind that cookies must be enabled in order for this to work.

FF4 fonts and photos look funny

OK, so I installed FF4 in w7, std installation-- the fonts in my usual sites all look funny and disconcerting (I just accepted font defaults, no tweaking). Pictures in my messages on a social site had a white border at top and bottom. Switched back to v 3.6, and everything is normal. I did look and notice that the photos still had a top and bottom border, but it was much less noticeable, so much so that I would not have seen it unless I had been looking for it.
So my conclusion is that FF4 does not have the graphics stuff down yet. Too bad.

Fonts of a PDF printout looks funny

Hi,
I don't know if anybody encounters this kind of problem. Sometimes when i print out a pdf file from Safari, some of the fonts look funny. It's like the letters get really close together. But when I look at in on the screen, it's perfect. I don't know if it's because the fonts don't exist in my OS X, and Acrobat tries to replicate the fonts or it the printer. Does anyone know how to resolve this? Thanks.

I confirm this is a known bug and Microsoft are working on a fix. They plan to fix this before Firefox 4 reaches release candidate phase.
A workaround is to change a preference in Firefox:
# Type '''about:config''' into the location bar and press enter
# Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
# Locate the preference '''html5.enable''' and double-click on it to change its value to '''false'''
If you do this, remember to set the preference back to true by double-clicking on it again when Firefox 4 release candidate is made available, the bug should be fixed by then.

It sounds as though you have set Mail up in POP mode. POP only sees and downloads from the server Inbox.
To see or download any other server folders you need to set it up in IMAP mode.

GNOME-Panel looks funny and the system is slow? [SOLVED]

My up to date installation with Arch started to work really slow today. Even the animation when you open a new tab in Firefox lags like hell. And at about the same time my GNOME panel started looking funny:
As you can se the toogle button looks weird to. Its not my theme nor the Murrine engine.
This is how it should be:
I cant remeber doing anything out of the ordinary? It kinda just happend. I have no idea at all whats causing it, so I dont now how to debug the problem? I feel like a complete noob atm.

I am using Mozilla Firefox 3.6.13 browser. I am also using windows XP.
I do not get the navigation arrows in my Hotmail inbox; so I can scroll to the next page to see previous emails.

For the annotations to display on the photo in iPhoto you must setup Preview as the external editor in iPhoto via iPhoto's Advanced preference pane.
After adding the annotations just do a Save. iPhoto will then recognize the change via a new modified version. You can revert to the original at any time if you want to get rid of the text.

have you restarted your OS? and do you have more than one firefox in your system?
looks like you got a little bit messed up. my suggestion is remove all the firefox programs, including addons, and do a restart of your windows, and then download a new firefox 3.6.16/3.6.15 from mozilla official, do the install, then install the addons.

I can no longer open my Hotmail inbox with Firefox but I can with Internet Explorer

I have been using Firefox for some time and like. As of yesterday, I am able to open Windows live but can't get my hotmail inbox from that page. I have no problem getting to my hotmail inbox using Internet Explorer. What's wrong?

By the way, although Magellan Communicator is a stand-alone program, the way that web pages connect to it is through a plugin. When you check the plugins list, you should see it there. Screen shot attached for reference.
