How can a program be deleted?

I don't know if I am in the right forum, but I wasn't sure where to post this question. I can't figure out how to delete a program. Should I just delete the icon from the applications folder or will that not remove all the files of the program?

The icon you removed from the Dock doesn't represent the application itself, but rather a shortcut.
You'll hopefully find Grabit in the Utilities folder (within the Applications folder).
From there, you can drag-and-drop it back onto the Dock if you like. Or, holding down Command (Apple) and Alt/Option keys, drag it to the Desktop to have an alias (shortcut).

Sort of depend on what you are trying to do precisely. In Edit mode, if you tap on any label, you will be given a list of options, plus an Add Custom Label option near the bottom of the list
