They knowingly have sent out this new os update for iPad which makes airplay nonfunctining! I need this for my business! I could understand if they didn't know, but it is all over the Internet! When I went in to have it revert back to os6 (which worked fine!) I was actually asked if I had done any research before I installed the upgrade! As if this is the consumer's fault for being dumb enough to fall for the upgrade!
That is not what I have discovered, nor what others have discovered, nor what I was told when I went the Genius Bar. I cannot remotely mirror to my MacBook Pro and it only started the day after I installed the upgrade. We tested it with an iPad that had not been upgraded, no problem.

If disabled because of a passcode, and you have not synced AFTER setting the passcode, you will have to force the phone into recovery mode & restore it as a new device. All data on your phone will be erased:
Turn your phone off. Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new. In your case, setup as "new" will be your ONLY option. -
Since i have updated my Iphone 5S to IOS8 or higher, the push mail does not work automatically, i have to refresh manually, I haven't this problem with earlier versions !
I use Microsoft Exchange Mail server.
Even with Iphone 5 and IOS8, the problem doesn't exist !Why would you expect it to work in 8.3, if it didn't work in a previous version? What troubleshooting have you done? Have you tried putting the car system into Pairing mode?

Hi, My Lightroom CC is showing waiting for connection and the mobile sync is not working. I have tried deleteing lrsync data, disabling firewall, checked host file etc. Still no luck.
I had the same problem. It fixed itself when I opened Internet Explorer (I don't normally use it). I was opening Support Portal to get some support help, but I'm not sure if it was the page or simply opening IE that did the trick.

This is a user to user forum. But I'm sure Apple would be happy to send you a compatible Bluetooth headset if you purchase one from the Apple Store. You could also order one from someplace like Amazon.com.

The problem is that I have a new Mac Mini and I want tio use Firefox but do not want to lose my bookmarks which represent a great deal of online research. If I knew where these files are stored and what they are named I could move them into place on the new machine but that information isn't obvious to me.
You can find the Import menu entry in the Bookmarks Manager (Library)
*Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Import Data from Another Browser

Import & Backup is the third button on the toolbar in the Library that looks like a star.
You should be able to export the bookmarks via that button.

Hi
Been using my iPad3 with Reliance in Mumbai for nearly 3 months now. It works great other than the problem with the whole "request handset config" mess.
The ONLY way to resolve is (in my expereince) is to hit cancel as soon as u see it. It will ALWAYS come on when you reboot ipad or "Reset Network Setting". Other than that, it may pop up now or then randomly. If you are luck y enough to spot it when it comes on randomly, hit CANCEL again and things will continue to work fine.
If you missed it, it will go the Sim failure and invalid sim.
In which case you go to settings and "Reset Netwrok Settings", once it reboots and requests handset etc, hit cancel and go on using. Its inconveniant, but if you learn to live with it, it works awesome!
But i rescently got Airtel, they are pretty good too, no such glitches and it supports personal hotspot also on the iPad3 (Reliance does not).

Hotmail is supposed to have a 10MB limit and my videos are only coming to 5MB. But I can send a video that is 54 seconds long, but 55 seconds won't send. I also tried sending it through a gmail account and it wouldn't work either. Any advice? I'm using a iphone4. Thank you!
When sending an email the largest size of any file or collection of files is 20MB. A 720p HD video recording from your iPhone 4 for 55 seconds probably hits about 20MB (or just under). There isn't a way to increase the email sizing limit, however there are other alternatives such as Microsoft SkyDrive (Free), DropBox (free) and Google Drive (free) which will let you upload and share your files (like you would with email, only slightly different).
If you have a Hotmail/MSN account, you already have SkyDrive and it's easy to setup and use. Just visit: https://skydrive.live.com and sign in using your Hotmail/MSN account.
If you have Gmail (or blogger, or other Google service including YouTube) you can enable and start using Google Drive easily also, just visit: https://drive.google.com/start
If have neither a Google or Microsoft acount, and have no interest in creating an account with either of them, try DropBox. Found here: https://www.dropbox.com -

Hello.
I need help deleting videos, tv shows, and movies downloaded from itunes. I have followed the instructions to delete from the macbook, I selected the videos I wanted to delete and right clicked to delete. Nothing happens. When I double click on the video it still starts playing. I also followed the instructions to delete the videos from the iphone by swiping from left to right with nothing happening. I opened the videos on the ipad and there is no edit selection like in the instructions on the support page. Can you please tell me how to permanently remove this content so it doesn't try to copy from each device when I want to back up the Iphone and Ipad to my macbook. Thank you.Hi Shawninglewood,

I've been told that I need to sync my new computer with my apple ipod. HELP!!
If you do not know the passcode to your iPod Touch, you'll need to connect the iPod to the iTunes library you normally sync it with and restore it in recovery mode. However, since your home button doesn't work, you'll need to use a program such as this one to try and get it into recovery mode.
