How can change or control tempo in Logic8 with incoming MTC signal

Hi Logic users!
I need help about MTC synchronisation. How can I change tempo /follow tempo/ with incoming MTC signal in Logic 8.
Many musician and producer use Cubase and we need frequently use their tempo map. We use Soundscape HDR /there is our main equipment for audio recording – working very stable and reliably/ as MTC master because of I simply open in HDR any midi file exported from Cubase as „tempo map“ and Soundscape can read time information included in midifile and read and change tempo /so midifile i sused as tempo map./. In Cubase is very easy read incoming tempo information. You can switch in transport bar either „fixed“ tempo or „track“ for change tempo with tempo map or incoming MTC signal with tempo information but in Logic 8 I did not find any solution.
Our setup is: 2 SSL Soundscape HDR, Logic8, Yamaha DM2000 mixing console – Soundscape is MTC master. From SS I send MTC to all other gear/ to Mac with Logic8 and to Yamaha DM 2000 for mix automation etc./. Logic is sync very well to incoming MTC signal from SS so it is OK but don´t read incoming tempo information.

MTC (MIDI Time Code) is time based, not tempo based.
The tempo map will need to be recreated in Logic.
MIDI Clockb is tempo based but as of version 8, Logic no longer reads MIDI clock. Doubt if that would've worked anyway.

How can I increase the tempo of a song without distorting the vocals?

I have a song I recorded, with the vocals and backing track on seperate tracks.
The song has been recorded a bit too slow, and I need to increase the tempo. However, when I do this, the vocals become distorted and have a wavy sound.
Is there any way I can increase the tempo of the song without distoring the vocals? I've tried doing it on the final song (merged tracks) and on the vocals alone, but nothing seems to work. It doesn't make sense, since when you do the same thing to a song by a professional artist, you can increase the tempo of the song without distoring the vocals.
What am I doing wrong? How can I increase the tempo of my song without distoring the vocals?

in general GB doesn't do such a great job with changing tempo of audio recordings, what you might find works better is to export your song uncompressed and then use an audio editor:

For that, you need the external class to have the reference to your element.. If your idea is to change basic properties like width, height etc.. then you can have the constructor of the external class to take the object of the parent of your class as the parameter and modify ..
However, if the properties to be altered/accessed are custom to your element, then you will have to have the class accept an object of your class as the parameter. No other option..

LR on your laptop is still a desktop version. It is just now able to upload to the cloud to replicate photos to either http://lightroom.adobe.com/ or an iPad that has LR Mobile installed.
I think you probably just want to change the LR 5 identity plate back so it doesn’t mention LR Mobile all the time. Hover over the identity-plate area, and click on the little triangle that appears, then choose Change Identity Plate.

Did you try to call this method in response to the selection in the combobox?
This won't refresh all widgets already created however. You probably have to re-create them all.
There may be case-by-case way to refresh them, for example Locale-dependent layout may be taken into account dynamically. Try and tell us.

Option-1
User user-exit EXIT_SAPLEINM_001 of enhancement MM06E001 to change the control record.
But make sure that whatever control record you put here, there should be a corresponding partner profile exist in partner profile ( WE20 ).
Option-2
You are saying that you are always getting 'LS'. This is because the output type is only configured with partner function 'LS'. We are using Purchase order idoc and we generate our all idocs for partner type 'KU'.
To do this, follow these steps.
- go to transaction NACT
- enter application 'EF' and select 'maintain'.
- select the output type you are using in PO for EDI.
- with this output type selected, select "partner functtions" from left hald side options.
- Hit "new entries" button on the top
- create an entry with, MEDIUN = 6 (EDI) ; Funct = VN ( vendor )
- Save your settings and come out
- Now on WE20, remove the partner profile you have created under partner type 'LS' and instead create a same partner profile for your vendor under partner type "KU".
Now it is upto you to decide, either to user the user-exit i have mentioned to change the control records OR create a outout config and partner profile for "KU".

You can't easily unless you have the latest version (2.1.1).
If you do have this version then changing the font in the Tools/Preferences menu under the code editor/fonts section will also change the font of the data grid.

It was a User confusion with Creation Date of Invoice, Billing Date of Invoice and Posting date of Accounting Document.
User had created Invoice on some 01.03.2009 but Kept Billing Date as 26.02.2009. So, while released Accounting Doc. on 10.03.2009 (Releasing date and not Posting Date), It gets Posted on 26.02.2009, only, and not on 10.03.2009.
The whole confusion was:
When User refers Document Flow (for Invoice in VF02), System shows Invoice Date as 01.03.2009, against Accounting Posting Date 26.02.2009.
Whereas,
When I showed FBL5N to user, BL Document and AB Document both get posted on 26.02.2009 only.
Its Clear now.
