How can I animate a line to show the creation of a circle?

hello there, I need to animate a line to show the creation of a circle. This is very easy in powerpoint as I can decide how the line has to enter the slide. I cannot believe that captivate cannot do that.... any hints?

Off the top of my head you can do this with 3 objects. The circle and two rectangles that will have motion path effect applied to them that will have an effect of wiping away and revealing the circle below. There's probably an easier way but like I said I just pulled this outa my...
This will work nicely and cleanly in HTML5 since it's a simple motion path effect.
The screenshot shows the two rectangles moving in opposite directions. The lower box should move AFTER the first one is done. I'm showing some transparency so you can see the circle below.

I have the same problem using the default "Look 4" template for the region. I have found in the CSS file where it is defined and it specifies "nowrap" in the style, which is why the long value is not being split over multiple lines.
So, my question is, without modifying or creating templates, is there a way to override the "nowrap" attribute from within the item definition? e.g. in the Column Attributes.Column Formatting.CSS Style field. I had some success changing the display properties, such as background colour and font size but I can't seen to override the nowrap attribute!

You don't need them stored locally for a backup. You can manually export your contacts as archive for backup. Also, if you are backing up with Time Machine, you already have a backup. If your hard drive crashed, you would have to rely on your backup or iCloud anyway.
So, if you're comfortable with that, sign out of iCloud. Choose to delete contacts from the computer. When you sign back into iCloud, you should only have iCloud contacts listed in AB. When you open iCal, you should only have one listing for birthdays.
The other alternative is to disable the Birthday c.alendar and create one manually.

How can I open a vi and show the block diagram?

I am opening an vi using "Open VI Reference" and "Invoke Methodpen FP", but I want to open the vi and show the block diagram, but I haven´t found any method (Invoke Method) to do that and any property.
Any idea?

OK, I can come up with a reason. I have written a program that will search the entire VI Hierarchy of a program and update all of the descriptions for all VIs with the top level program part #, the name of the top level program that the VI is used in, the company copyright info, the ITAR notice, company address, the name of the engineer performing the update, along with the date and time. This will also place as a background image on all the VIs, a watermark of the company name, legality stuff and the copyright. It works very slick in that if there are thousands of sub-vis, such as what I'm working on now, it goes through all of them, makes sure the data is there as per company policy without having to open every one of them look at them and update or not whichever the case may be. The one portion that is tough is that the program will detect if there is a description written about what funtion the VI performs and if there is not a description, then it pops up a dialog requesting the user to write a description. The problem is that without looking at the block diagram for the VI, it can be nearly impossible to write a description for the functionality of the VI. So is there a way to programmatically open a VI, show its block diagram (this would only be in the case of a missing description) and then upon completion of the updates, close the block diagram? (I already open and close the VI programmatically in order to read the VI DESC and update as needed, but that is in the background and of course you can't see the block diagram).

How can I add a column to show the website (web site) of an rss feed?

I've got a lot of rss feeds coming into thunderbird. I organized some into folders, but also have a folder for several rss feeds as they adress the same topics and I prefer not to browse through 25 separate folders. However, the sender doesn't always make it clear which blog it's from, so I'd like to add a column which shows the website of the rss feed. (sender is often: [email protected], and there are different writers for a single blog who themselve have their own blog as well, so can't sort on sender name either).
When opening an rss feed, it displays in the header: web site (with the space) and then the web adress. This is what I'd like to be able to see in my columns.
I didn't see an option yet to customize columns, nor did I find an addon that does this.
Does anyone know a solution?

Thanks, that seems to work. I'm struggling to place the lightbox at the top of the page however - when I click the trigger I want the menu image to display anchored to the top of the page, but there's always a gap as it centers the image. Help is appreciated!

how can i animate images which i edit in GIMP?
i mean, i have 1 video clip showing a tree. and then i have 1 .jpg image of an airplane
how can i make that airplane from jpg image to appear in the video showing the tree? i want to make that airplane crash into the tree and explode.
i see a lot of similar stuff on youtube (like "cyriak animation mix") but i don't know what this technique is called. animation of still images? google search gave me lots of dubious results, none of them came straight to the point.
all i know it involves some manipulation of keyframes but i need to know more keywords to further research this technique. or better yet - find a decent article explaining basics.
can somebody help?

First, you will probably want to Key out the background around the plane. Look into Chorma Key, or one of the other Keying Effects in PrE, depending on how the plane was shot, or created. If you created it, you can probably Mask out any background, and Save_As a format, that support Transparency, such as with an Alpha Channel Mask.
Then, with the plane on a higher Video Track, than your tree, use the Fixed Effect>Motion>Position to Keyframe the Position of the plane, moving it across the Frame. You can style a table to remove grid lines and only show an "outline" around the table itself.
