What are the fees associated? Is this possible to do from the web?

There may be an Early Termination Fee (ETF) if the line is still in contract.  Typical ETF's are $350 minus $10/month in contract for a smartphone or $175 minus $5/month in contract for a basic phone (based on the type of phone subsidized when the contract was started).
To cancel, you must call Customer Service or visit a store (canceling cannot be done online by yourself) so then you can find out the appropriate fees for the line you want to cancel.

    I agree get Family Base and charge then the extra $5 it will cost since that person doesn't seem to understand the concept of SHARING. Or up the data plan and charge the extra to them and tell them since you had to increase the data plan because them they can pay the extra mount.

    Is it possible that you are using the same password for the old O2 Study and newer O2 Apple Base Station networks?
    If so, Keychain Access is storing the old information about the old network and may be associating it with your AirPort Extreme settings based on the BSSID that William has mentioned.
    If that's the case, open Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > KeyChain Access and look for a listing with the old network name. Delete this entry. You may need to power down both the computer and the AirPort Extreme and restart them.

  • Can you transfer an upgrade on a family share plan?

    We have a family share plan with 4 phones on it. My mom is overdue and up for an upgrade. I was wondering if it is possible for her to tranfer her upgrade to my line on  the same plan. I am looking at getting the droid x.
    Is it possible for her to upgrade to a new phone (like the droid x) on her line then transfer it to my line, then reactivate her old phone.
    If any of these methods are impossible I would like to know a way to get a new phone while still on a contract and have to pay the least amount of money as possible.

    If you are buying the phone in a corporate store, then just tell them you want to do an alternate upgrade....they will use the eligible line to get you the discounted price, and activate it on whatever line you want.  The data plan for the Android will add $29.99 per month; your calling plan will not change.
    If you are buying the phone online, you will have to use the eligible number to order the phone, and it will require you to add the data plan.  The bill will not change until the phone is activated.  When the phone arrives, you can call customer service to activate the phone on the line you want, and get the data plan all set up for that line.
    Post back if you have further questions, or call customer service....they can answer all your questions too.  And enjpoy your new phone!

    I am using OFFICE for the Mac (2008).
    In the past, I have known how to do this using PPT on a Windows PC..
    But something has changed and I can no longer figure out how to get each line on a PPT slide to appear one line at a time every time I click it.
    It's not that difficult, but I can't figured out where they moved the "Appear" option.
    I am NOT using KEYNOTE, but PowerPoint from OFFICE for the Mac (2008)
    Can someone help me.

    Since this is a Keynote discussion forum, there may be no one here that knows. I personally hate PP and could care less about how to make one line display at a time. It is easy on Keynote and that is all I need to know. You might want to look for a PP forum and ask there.

    How do I cancel one line from a family plan? I am planning on switching to at&t even though it will cost me about $250 to cancel, it will be worth it. At least their iphones are somewhat more affordable and I will be saving money on a plan with them as well.

    Are you planning to port the number to your new carrier?  If so, then you won't need to cancel on Verizon's end - the port will automatically cancel Verizon service.  In fact, if you do cancel service with Verizon before the port, the number will not be available to port.  Go to your new carrier and start the process there.
    If you are NOT keeping the same number, then just call customer service and cancel the line of service.  You cannot do it online, you have to call in or visit a store to cancel a line.

    So, does this idea work?
    I have three lines on my account.
    A - Upgrade available in 10/2012 (contract ends on similar date)
    B - Upgrade available in 10/2013 (contract ends on similar date)
    C - Upgrade available as of now (contract ended)
    Basically, I have one line that's out of contract.
    Since I have one line that's done with the contract, can I cancel one line even though it's still under contract from my account?
    I thought this wasn't allowed, but in my recent chat with CSR named Cassey(she said she left notation about our conversation), she said it is possible and was so sure about that.
    I was in the exact same situation back in March when I cancelled 4th line I used to have in my account.
    I was told it couldn't be done that way and had to wait for a couple month with the charges.
    Please clear this up so that I could take an appropriate action.

        We certainly don't want to see any lines leave our reliable service, confusedlongterm. Tidbits was correct. In order to make such a big change we do need to speak with the account owner or account manager directly. But what has you wanting to cancel the line? We would be happy to discuss alternatives to removing the line completely.

    First turn off auto-renewing subscriptions:
    iTunes Store: Purchasing and managing auto-renewing subscriptions
    Getting a refund won't be as simple. For that you will have to contact iTunes Store Support.

    That only happens when you are running Windows in a Virtual Machine with OS X as the host. Shut down the VM and restart your Mac.  Once the VM is running again and you insert a USB flash drive you should get that prompt again.
