How can i change my mail address on the forum?

Hello, I've allready send a mail to the suportdesk, but in the meantime i can't receive a mail because i have to change that mail address of my on the forum into an other one, but i cant find a link to my personal settings. can any body help me out?! Thanks.

Hi Fredek!
If you click on your name then click on "Resources & Settings" under My Community at the right hand side, it will expand a list of links. From there you'll want to click on "My User Settings". On that page is a section right under the search bar titled "Edit HP Passport". You should be able to click on "Contact Information" and change your email address from there!

When I go to type a mail adress on my ipad I get a drop down list of previous mail addresses including all the typo's and used once. There doesn't seem to be a way of deleting unwanted one's. Unless anyone knows better?

If you mean for your email account in the mail app, go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Delete Account. Then tap Add Account and enter the new information.

You should be able to change your e-mail address from your provider ... then edit it to meet the Apple requirements. Unfortunately you've given us no profile details so we can't tell what device you have.

Once you have created an iCloud account and chosen an @icloud.com address to go with it you can't change the address (short of creating an entirely new account).
However, all is not lost. You can add up to three 'email aliases' - these are additional addresses (not accounts) which deliver into the same inbox as the main account. (In fact it's a good idea to give out alias addresses, rather than the main address, because if they attract spam you can easily change them.) (New aliases can only be @icloud.com ones; @me.com addresses cannot now be created.)
You should be aware before you start that once you've created an alias you cannot turn that address into a full iCloud account or move it to another account, and if it has @mac.com or @me.com versions these cannot be reinstated once deleted.

Try Mail>Preferences>Accounts icon>Account Information tab>Click on the Outgoing SMTP server drop down, choose edit Server list, highlight the old one & click Remove.
(Such convolution is worthy of Windows® in my estimation)

You can't change an iCloud email address without setting up a new iCloud account. You can, however, set up an alias email address with a new name and use that instead and email sent to the alias address will appear in the same inbox as the account you are using now. Call the tech support for the provider of your old email. They will be able to change the password for you or if they can't they will shut the account down so that spammer is not able to use it.

If the iCloud account ends with an @icloud.com, then that is something that you cannot change it. If that is not the case, then you will need to sign out and may need to change it back to the old Apple ID to do so.

There is no way to merge two Apple IDs as all purchases made with each account are always tied to those accounts.
All you can do to each account is change the email address for each one but they can't have the same email address.
