How can i copy an iPhoto album to a flashdrive along with photo information, in order to send it to a friend please?

File -> Export. In the resulting dialogue you can choose to export the Original. Or, if you choose to export a Jpeg you can get the edited version. Check the boxes at 'Keywords and Descriptions' and 'Places Information' and you'll get the metadata, if that's what you mean by "photo information"

The card appears on the desktop side bar. Then select the pics Album in the iPhoto Window and go to File then Export and export the pics to a Folder on your desktop. Then copy drag that folder of loaded images on to the card noted on your finder.

Are you aware it only syncs iMessages. Also once enabled only new messages will sync, try messaging the user from the Mac and see if that gets things going for you.

If you bought and downloaded the 1Password app from the Mac App Store, then it shoud be in the Applications folder on your Mac. Since the name starts with a 1, it is usually the very first app in the folder.

Performed upgrade to Mountain Lion so I could share Photo Streams with other people,. Trouble is all the naming, descriptions, locations of the photos do not show up in Photo Stream. Is there a way to enable this or is it just not possible?

I was not sure where to post this question as it is related to iCloud, iPhoto, OS X Mountain Lion, etc. The shared Photo Stream feature appeared in my version of iPhoto '11 (version 9.4.2) only after the upgrade to Mountain Lion.

Photo Stream only uses the file names and what you're changing is the Title, not file name. To get the title to be the file hame you have to export the photo out of iPhoto via the File ➙ Export ➙ File Export menu with the option to use the title as the new file name.

I back up my iMac on my external hard drive. When trying to copy the iPhoto Library onto my MacBook, I get the message "Cannot use TM backup as main library". I don't even see an option to choose certain Events to copy. Is there any way I can choose particular Events in iPhoto to copy to my MacBook? How can I get the photos on my MacBook?

If not, you cannot restore individual photos; just the entire iPhoto library. A workaround is to restore it to an alternate location, such as your desktop, then export the selected photos from there. See the pink box in the same article.

I have a Samsung SmartTV and want to show my trip album (iPhoto) to my family via my TV. How can I do this? Right now, I do not see the AllShare icon my my Hub. I am hoping to do this wirelessly. When I bought this TV, I was under the impression I could project from my Mac, however, when the techs came to set it all up, they said Samsung TVs can not "talk with" Apple computers! What a bummer. I tried external cables which were told to help but did not. At one point, I was able to get a few iPhoto pictures to appear, but forgot how.
Any reasonable help would be appreciated.

All that needs to be done from the same computer. The iPhone cannot be simultaneously "synced" to more than one PC for the same data types. If your home computer has the 3GS backup, then activate the iPhone 4 there and restore all the 3GS info onto it at that time. If you then want to sync the iPhone 4 at work, you will have to give up the sync at home and make the work PC the base.
