How can I copy extensions from one computer to another?

I use about a dozen extensions on one computer, and would like to use the same ones with the same settings on another computer. Copying the cryptically-named folders from the ...Profiles/xxxx.default/extensions folder doesn't work - FF doesn't seem to know they are there, even after a restart.
Using FF 3.6.8 on WinXP Sp2

After you copy the extensions folder and all sub-folders, in the profile folder delete extensions.cache, extensions.rdf and extensions.ini, this will force Firefox to rebuild the list of extensions. The problem with this approach is some extensions will create files and folders elsewhere in the profile folder, and many will add preferences to the prefs.js file. I find it easier to have copies of the .xpi files for the extensions and re-install them.
Another way to do this is by using another extension, [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2109/ FEBE].

You don't mention which operating system you have so it's difficult to provide an answer since the mac and Windows stores the files differently.
The other thing you can do is just re-download the apps from the iTunes Store. Just login to the iTunes Store on the other computer using the same Apple ID. On the right-hand side of the iTunes Store page you will see a 'Purchased' link. Clicking on that will take you to a page that will list your past purchases which you can re-download to the new computer.

Here's my standard instructions for doing this via Home Sharing.

If there's a lot of stuff in your original PC's library, the transfer may take some time.

Welcome to the forum.
I can think of three basic ways to accomplish what you wish to do:
Use the Project Archiver to archive your Project (and check the box to gather the media files), to an external HDD. Probably the easiest way to do it.
Copy the Project and ALL media files to an external HDD, but be prepared to relink the media files to the Project, as the drive letter (part of the Absolute Path) will have changed.
Edit loosely, and Share to an AV file, which will be Imported into a New Project on that second computer. Or, edit VERY tightly, and do the same. I like the first, as removing, replacing Transitions, etc., can be much more difficult, unless that "tight edit" is 100% done.

You can't copy directly from one iPod to another, you have to copy the songs back to iTunes and update the new iPod from there. From the object styles panel. Click on the object, define style (new object style), click on the next object, apply that new style. Even quicker than copy/paste. Then, if you make a change to the style, all objects are updated. Just want to do one? Alter the object itself (and create a new style while you're at it ).

If you are using iTunes 7 I think this section from the Apple article is pretty straightforward.
To transfer iTunes Store purchases using iPod:
Connect your iPod to the computer on which you bought the items you want to transfer.
Copy the iTunes Store purchases to your iPod.
Disconnect your iPod (click the Eject button next to its icon) and then connect it to the computer you want to transfer the purchases to.
Choose File > Transfer Purchases From iPod.
You could also burn the song files to a data CD or DVD. Once you've burned the disc, take it to your other computer and import the songs into iTunes. Create a new folder on the desktop, choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu, provide ~/Library/ as the path, move some of the items inside to that folder, keeping track of what you moved, try the plugin again, and repeat as needed.
Moving the wrong item to a different user account will transfer the problem.
