How can I create a Video Playlist?

I have the 5G iPod and iTunes 6.0.1.3
I have around 300 music videos in iTunes (and on the iPod)
I can't figure out how to create a video only playlist that will then appear on the iPod as a plylist within videos, all I can see is videos within Music Videos, this is no good when I want to split them and have in a playlist without having them ALL in there.
any one have any ideas? (I don't want just the audio to play, I wanna watch them)

Thats the Problem . . . how many apps do I have to try until I find the one I want? I noticed a few will render the video thus losing its original size. When I went to edit it more in iMovie the video was smaller--not good. And what software do you suggest, Templeton, for the PC? I love the apps because they are easy. I dont have hours to mess around on a software to figure out if its something I want. Im looking for simplicity. Maybe Ill get more into it later. I just want to record simple video of my playing the guitar for self analysis and create a short video for family and friends.

How can I create a smart playlist of least played complete albums? (of a specific genre, say jazz)
What I would like to do is to have a playlist that will always automatically pull the least played albums of a specific genre (ideally, but not necessarily, with a random album play within that playlist) Hope you are getting the concept!

As you say, you can't access the Gapless property in a smart playlist rule.
The obvious way that comes to mind would be to create another playlist with stuff to exclude from your final list and put the gapless tracks and anything else that won't filter out easily into it.
Yes you say but I have oodles of gapless tracks and I don't want to gather them up by hand.

I rendered out an image sequence out of 3DS Max as png files with alpha channels. It is of the earth rotating. I want to export it so when it is brought into power point, all the space around the globe is transparent. How can I do this?

Sorry--overlooked that since it wasn't capitalized.
Anyway, you'll have to see what formats PowerPoint accepts that can include alpha (if that's even possible). For sure, On2 VP6 won't work, and QuickTime probably will not; the only likelihood is the uncompressed AVI option, and even then, that's a long shot.

How can I create a Podcast Playlist in iOS 6.1?

I upgraded to iOS 6 on my 4th Gen iPod (white) and noticed Podcasts are not included in any playlist any more, but have been pushed to the Podcast app! The problem I have is that I used to make a playlist of Podcasts to listen to while driving to work, and now I can't seem to find how I do that. I need to be able to have podcasts play in a particular order so that I don't have to fumble with the iPod while driving!
Does anyone know how to make a Playlist see Podcasts in iOS 6.1?

Hello, i am new here, and i have a project in my hand. I have to create a slideshow presentation on certain subject. I have completed the slideshow using a tool called,PhotoStage Slideshow Producer, with a bunch of 60 images. Now i want to add a small video effect in the beginning of the slideshow to make it look more professional. I want something really simple and i want to add it in between different images for some effect. I may be asking in the wrong forum, again. Might be able to create it with Filter > Render > Clouds with your foreground and background colors set to the lighter and darker versions of your selected color. Then you might need to use Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur to smooth things out

How can you create a playlist on Ipod touch with music and music video, and play those from same playlist through Apple TV? I can download, create a playlist with both music and music video, stream that through the Apple TV with no problem. The sound and the information show up on the TV, but when it gets to a music video, it only shows the information and "artwork".
I also have a video playlist - videos play fine through the Apple TV, but will not shuffle through all videos - continues to repeat the same one. I have most definitely selected shuffle in both locations - from the playlist and on the ipod video screen while video is playing.

I finally got it... had to sync the photos with the music in iMovie, arrange the voiceover in GarageBand then export to iTunes, and then I was able to put it all together in iMovie and burn in iDVD... had a few glitches along the way but finally finished : )

Have them install Quicktime on their PC's from Apple's website, that's the easiest fix.

OK...this is a probably a very basic question but I'm not sure how to word it clearly.

What I mean is that I have a bout 50 minutes of video and I want to make two DVDs using different clips from this original 50 minutes of footage. It would be a real pain to have to re-import the video AGAIN for the second DVD. I suppose I could drop anything I don't want to burn to DVD back into the clips pane but that would wipe out all my transitions wouldn't it? I want to save each project in their “raw” form so I can burn additional DVDs later otherwise I would just do them one at a time and not care about one of them being destroyed.

You can't. You make separate projects using the same or different clips, segments, transitions, titles, etc. You can even duplicate the first project and then modify/make the desired changes in the duplicated project. Each project can then be burned as a different DVD or as different titles on the same DVD if there is enough room.

What are the exact properties of the still images, particularly the pixel dimensions and pixel aspect ratio (PAR).* The letterboxing (black bars top & bottom) is most likely a result of a mismatch in these settings. If this is the case, then the easiest fix is to make sure not only the dimensions but the PAR match.

Was that iTunes' safe mode as opposed to Windows' safe mode? iTunes safe mode is invoked by holding down CTRL+SHIFT immediately after clicking the icon to launch iTunes and continuing to hold until this message pops up:
Click continue, then close iTunes and reopen. With luck iTunes now opens normally every time.
