I can't possible delete the thousands of junk files that showed up in Finder once I downloaded Maverick. I can't delete more than one at a time now. Why won't the highlighting stay in place on more than one file that I want to delete?

Sorry for the lengthy delay to a response. Are you trying to convert multiple files to individual PDF files at the same time? (not combine them). If so, you'll need to use Adobe Acrobat for this function. The CreatePDF service does not have the ability to convert multiple files to multiple individual PDF files.

You can't from the phone.
If they are iCloud contacts you can sign into iCloud.com with Your Apple ID from a web browser on your computer. Click Contacts, select the contacts you want to delete, click the gear icon on the bottom left then delete.

The .DS_Store file is normal. It holds certain settings related to the folder it is found in. Removing these files is futile, as they will come back, as you have observed.
