How can I display and connect my PS2 (play station) on Qosmio LCD?

Hello,
I purchased an F25 Qosmio and I have been trying to connect my PS2 to display it on the LCD. I connected the PS2 to the Composite Video-in cable and I have tried every channel on the TV but could not find the display channel?
Did I follow the right steps or I am missing something?
(P.S. I have tried treating the PS as a set-box and tried using the media center to configure and scan for the channel but apparently the setbox model has to be inserted and this is where I stopped)

Qosmioplayer and Media Centre are two different things. To be honest the configuration of your Qosmio notebook is not known to me but here in Europe Toshiba has installed one small Qosmioplayer that allows you to watch TV, DVD movies or listen music CDs without starting operating system.
Qosmioplayer is small Linux based application and it is installed on small unallocated HDD partition.
I mean, if you want to watch TV using this Qosmioplayer all you must do is to connect antenna cable into composite port, start Qosmioplayer and scan the channels like on usual TV.
For example I have watched old movies from my VHS player in Qosmioplayer. Video signal is for me the same just the source is different. I think it must work with PS2 exact on the same way.

You can use the USB 1.1 port to sync and charge your iPod. It will just be slower than USB 2.0.

The ActiveItem.SymbolIndex will allow you to select the symbol for the active item. You can use the ListBox Symbol Ring Constant (Dialog and User Interface palette) to select a symbol (or you can just enter the number directly if you know what it is).

How can I display and use the full RAW file?

Hi,
my camera (Canon S95) has a sensor with 4:3 aspect ratio and thus saves all RAW files in this format. Additionally, the camera can automatically create JPGs with a cropped ratio (e.g. 3:2 or 16:9). This is very helpful because you can see the target format already on the camera screen (with black bars on top and bottom), which helps the composition. However, when processing the photos on the big screen afterwards, it often also helps the photo to adjust the ratio a little bit and therefore use the additional information saved in the bigger 4:3 RAW file. This works very well with many of the freely available software tools.
The problem found in Lightroom is now that it only shows the RAW photo in the cropped format and up to know I have found no way to display or use the full RAW format. So my question is: Which settings do I have to change to use the full format? What do I need to change?
Searching a little bit on the web I found many other photographes having the exactly same problem with many different cameras. However none of them reported to have a solution for this. Still I am pretty sure that there must be a solution, since otherwise this would be a really heavy bug within Lightroom and I cannot imagine that Adobe would leave this matter unsolved.
So I would really appreciate if someone could help me with this.

Thanks for clearification. Do you have additional information about when this fix will be available and whether at least some popular old cameras will be supported?
What I do not get is why Adobe would need to redo all existing cameras. I think this is a more general issue, where Lightroom misinterpretes the exif data which includes both the exif image height/width as well as the cropped image height/width. Intepreting this information correctly, any software should be able to display both - the full image and the cropped area (as shown by many cheap or free software tools). In the internet I found another workaround for the issue in Lightroom, which is undermining this point: When setting the cropped image height/width to the numbers of exif image height/width manually (e.g. with exif tools), Lightroom actually is able to display the full 4:3 picture.
So this bug should be easily fixed for all cameras and I have no clue why Adobe still has no fixed it with Lightroom already available in version 4.2.

No reason why you should not be able to do it using Firewire Target Disk Mode. Here's what you do:
1. With both computers shut down connect both via firewire.
2. Startup the Mini and hold down "T" key immediately after chime.
3. Startup the PB and immediately after chime hold down Option key.
4. Select second HDD icon on the screen and click on the right pointing arrow.
5. Computer will boot from Mini's HDD.
Be sure to shut down PB completely before shutting down Mini.
Please do post back with an update or with further questions or comments.

How can I display True/False in my dropdownlist as "Yes" and "No"?

I want to bind a dropdownlist to a boolean value (so it's either true or false). I'm particularly interested in using two-way binding to when the user changes from "yes" to "no" the boolean value automatically changes from "true" to "false." But, I want the user to see "yes" and "no" as the options, rather than "true" and "false".
How can I display "yes" and "no" and still take advantage of binding? Or can I not use binding in this circumstance?

In order to display Yes/No for True/False, you may specify labelFunction for the dropdownList.
In MXML:
<s:DropDownList labelFunction="myLabelFunction" />
In actionscript:

may be u can try making an array collection like

I would like to translate the User Interface of my application to French, Italian, Spanish, German and Portuguese.
When I put special characters in the import string file they showed up as ? (question mark)
The import strings file includes the following parameters for each string: font, text, size and style. (but no field for script)
In order to use a unicode font such as Arial I need to select a french script. But this option is not supported bu LabView (As far as I saw)
A) Is there a font which is directly German/ French etc and not regula font + script parameter?
B) Are there another required step

The Mac and iPhone sync with iTunes though the charge cable that is included with the iPhone. Through this, you can sync your calendars and contacts.
Bluetooth is an impractical sync scheme as the time it would take to say transfer your song catalog could be longer than your phone contract. I suppose it is entirely possible to implement with hacks and jailbreaking, but I am fairly sure it is beyond the rules here to discuss such activities.
You may wan tto ask this same question in the iPhone section of the comminitie here. There may be some workarounds for just contacts.

As a workaround, we can use jQuery to hide or remove other posts.

You can also connect the Facebook to find whether it provide a api to achieve your requirement or not.
