How can I display more info using remote app?

Hi there,
I use remote app a lot, but I find it quite basic in the display features.
I mean: remote is great to browse my music library and play songs with on my living room hi-fi while I'm sitting comfortable on my sofa.
But what if I would like to know the release date of the album, the name of the composer, and so on?
Is there any way to configure the remote app to display more?
Is any kind of new release of the app on its way?
Thank you.

  • How can I display more than one value in Calendar ?

    Hi,
    the standard (example) script allows for the display of one value only (as I understood). How can I display two or three values, from the very same table ? Students of mine during an HTMLDB workshop in Leipzig did ask that question.
    Do we have a more detailed docum. on the use of the calendar ?
    pls kindly advise. TIA.
    Bernhard

    my solution:
    Source fo the calendar starts:
    snip>
    declare
    q varchar(32767) := null;
    begin
    q := 'select "ETA", <--- Date Field and concatination of fields as follows:
    "SCHIFFSNAME"|| "ETA_TIME"|| "TERMINAL"||''(br*)'',
    null,
    null,
    null,
    null
    from "#OWNER#"."SCHEDULE"'; . . . . . . .
    snip>
    comment on (br*) - you have to use "<" and ">" instead of "( " and ")" to have the "break/new line effect"

  • How can I display more information on my audiobooks?

    I used to have an ipod mini. To see more information about a podcast, song or audiobook, you could click the center button and it would flash additional information, such as lyrics. On the ipod touch, nothing happens other than the scrubber appearing. How can I show the details of the media while it's playing? I've enabled podcast info and lyrics in the general settings.

    Here is the manual.
    http://manuals.info.apple.com/MANUALS/1000/MA1657/en_US/ipod_touch_ios6_user_gui de.pdf
    The Music chapter cover how you get info on the screen. In order to show lyrics, besides turning lyrics ON on the iPod you have to add lyrics to the song in iTunes. Go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help and sear for lyrics to find out how to do that

  • How can I display comments when using poll

    hi Experts,
    I am using wc11.1.1.5 with poll function, I published a poll with some questions and a text box for suggestion feedback, when I check result, I can only get answers for the question but no suggestions can be displayed, how can I get the suggestion displayed?
    Best regards

    You have to customize surveyResults.jsff page fragment that is available in "WebCenter Polls and Surveys Service View" library. You can find this library by creating a WebCenter Spaces Task flow Customization project from Jdeveloper. Kindly do let me know if you need more details in this regard.
    You have add output or label in surveyResults.jsff and then map its value attribute with RE of suggestion text area might be available in surveyResultBean class.
    How to customize task flow, pls see following link:-

  • How can I display some OrdImages using a Applet in html or Jsp?

    hi
    I want to use a applet to display some images retrieved from intermedia OrdImage Object.
    Now ,I know that a applet can display some image objects or some images with their own filepaths. But we can get ordimag objects from Oracle database.And we can image data or image properties by ordimage java mathod. It is in html/Jsp environment. So how can I transform from ordimage to applet?? I appreciate someone who can help me!
    Bill

    Do you mean applet or Servlet?
    An Applet is java code that is downloaded over the web and runs in a web browser environment. Is this what you are doing?
    I suspect you are really talking about servlet/JSP environments, and the ability to include images from the database in a web page.
    In either case (applet or servlet), you want to be able to access images via a URL. For a Servlet/JSP/web page, this URL will be specified in a HTML <IMG> tag with a key as a parameter to the image you wish to view. Images are not in-line downloaded in a web page. They are access after the HTML is loaded, and are accessed with URLs, sometimes relative URLs rather than fully specified URLs.
    To deliver images to the web from the database using the PL/SQL gateway and iAS, where the procedures are generated by a wizard, see:
    http://otn.oracle.com/software/products/intermedia/htdocs/descriptions/imedia_code_wizard.html
    You can create a simple servlet (JSPs can not deliver binary data) that delivers database images using java classes. See:
    http://otn.oracle.com/software/products/intermedia/htdocs/descriptions/servlets_jsp.html
    http://otn.oracle.com/sample_code/products/intermedia/htdocs/intermedia_servlet_jsp_samples/imedia_servlet_jsp_readme.htm

  • How can I display more than 1 loop iteraction in a waveform chart?

    Using DAQmx, I am inputting a signal at a rate of 10k with 1k samples inside a while loop. I want the first 3 seconds of data to display on a waveform chart without having to change the rate or number of samples. Is there a way to stop the waveform chart from clearing after every loop iteration so that I can display more than 0.1sec of data? Thank you for any help you can provide!

    The default history length of a chart is 1024. To make it longer is a right click option.

  • How can i display blob (picture) using jsp

    i can get byte array from oracle database.
    and how can i use byte array to display just like img src = '' in html ?
    thankyou

    You can't. You have to use <img src...> in the HTML. That src can be to a servlet that gets the image data from the DB and writes the image data out, of course. Just set the content type to image/jpeg or image/gif or whatever it is.

  • How can I see more info in podcast listings?

    Hi all,
    So when I'm looking at listings of podcasts (or other things), you see one line of text and then an ellipsis (. . .). How can I expand that listing to see the rest of the text? I've tried swiping and zooming and clicking and double-clicking, but nothing will expand that box. I'm sure there's a way.
    Know what I mean?
    Thanks for your help.

    Mostly, this is true for iTunes U. You look at a screen (on my iPod Touch 4G), it has 10-12 listings of lectures and they say -- in their entirety -- "Intro to . . ." As far as I can tell, there is no way to expand this text and see more. If you click or double-click, you go right to the QuickTime audio.
    Any ideas?

  • How can I display more graph data than will fit into memory?

    I'd like to graph more data than will fit into my computer's memory on a LabVIEW graph or some other LabVIEW control. In the past I've hacked this with the 2D Picture Control. LabVIEW would read through the huge file one chunk of manageable memory at a time and fill in the appropriate pixels in the 2D Picture Control as it read through the file.
    Is there a better way?

    Looks like mikeporter has done most of the heavy lifting for you in his excellent article.
    If the data will not fit in memory then you have little choice other than reading chunks at a time from file. I would probably so something like:
    Decide how much you want to work with at a time (say 1 MSamples). If your selected 'dataset' zoom level is 'all data' then you will have to read in all the file piecewise, decimate the data, and build up your 1MSamples array. You can then use the LabVIEW graph to zoom in and out and scroll that set of samples. This gives you some limited 'live' functionality on the decimated dataset, and means you don't have to read from the file every time you scroll or zoom.
    Then if you want to examine part of the data more closely, you need to change the 'dataset' zoom level to 'just these 100Msamples' (say). Re-read just that section of the file, decimate as needed, and display. As your 'dataset' of interest becomes smaller you will need to decimate less until you can just read sample for sample.
    These two levels of 'zoom' - a macro 'dataset' selected from the overall data, and the native graph zoom and scroll, should give a balance of usability without having to constantly read from file as you move around small sections of the data.
    Sorry I don't know of any existing code (though I'm sure someone has done it before!) - if you do implement something like this then maybe you could share

  • How can I display step info in User Interface with Tracing Disabled?

    I'm trying to modify the CVI Operator Interface application to update the execute panel with some step information during the execution of the program. i.e. I want to display the measurement, high & low limits during the run WHEN TRACING IS DISABLED. (Doing this, when tracing is enabled is easy, all you do is access the step record that's been constructed (I can cope with that!))
    I've successfully implemented a User defined execution event to signal the User Interface application when the current step is a result (using TS_UIMsg_UserMessageBase etc. I'm posting a UI Message in the Process Model under the ProcessModelPostStep so that I will only display if its a result step.) I've added a user defined
    entry in the execute.c module execution event switch statement which will call a function in the exedisp.c module to update the display. However, I don't have a context to the step that I can use. (I can't use e.g. the exeRec record since this is only completed with the context if tracing is enabled.) I've got a handle to the correct panel to write the information to, but how do I get the context to the current step when tracing is disabled?
    Regards,
    Brian

    Hi,
    no problem - btw, if you wanted to acheive this in TS 1.x, you could always write to a local variable with the ActiveX reference for the step concerned, and then use the msg reference that you have in the OI within the UI Message handler, to dig through to the Execution ->Sequence File->Sequence->Locals, or Execution->Thread->SequenceContext (and you can get almost anywhere from that).
    Hope that helps

  • How can i get more info about the sent data in RTP?

    Hello.
    I'm working with the examples AVTransmitt2 and AV Receive2 and i want to get more information about the data that it is being sent to de receiver side. In AVTrasmitt2 i only see a calling to processor.start();. How could i know each packet that AvTransmit2 sends to the other side. I want info like the size of the data, the quality, format, etc..

    Hi!
    As I mentioned above. RTPSocketAdapter has two inner classes, SockOutputStream and SockInputStream.
    SockOutputStream have a write method which is called when RTP data is sent over the NET. SockInputStream have a read method which is called when RTP data is received.
    If you for instance want to know exactly what is sent you can parse the byte array that comes into write.
    Like this:
    * An inner class to implement an OutputDataStream based on UDP sockets.
    class SockOutputStream implements OutputDataStream {
         DatagramSocket sock;
         InetAddress addr;
         int port;
         boolean isRTCP;
         public SockOutputStream(DatagramSocket sock, InetAddress addr, int port, boolean isRTCP) {
              this.sock = sock;
              this.addr = addr;
              this.port = port;
         public int write(byte data[], int offset, int len) {

                   parseAndPrintRTCPData(data);
              }else{
                   parseAndPrintRTPData(data);
              try {
                   sock.send(new DatagramPacket(data, offset, len, addr, port));
              } catch (Exception e) {
                   return -1;
              if(debug){
                   System.out.println(debugName+": written "+len+" bytes to address:port: "+addr+":"+port);
              return len;
    private void parseAndPrintRTPData(byte[] data) {
         // part of header, there still left SSRC and CSRC:s
         byte[] rtpHeader = new byte[8];
         System.arraycopy(data, 0, rtpHeader, 0, rtpHeader.length);
         ByteBuffer buffer = ByteBuffer.wrap(rtpHeader);
         int word = buffer.getInt();
         // version
         int v = word >>> 30;

  • How can I display more than one value in Calendar ? (2)

    Hi,
    I came across the "Calendar - Activity Monitor by month" in the HTMLDB admin section. This is exactly the view I like to develop asked earlier (the proposal was to work with concatination of fields). Can you provide for the source code used for the a.m. calendar displaying four columns per day ? TIA - Bernhard

    if you're talking about the "Calendar of Views by Day" available in the administration section of any workspace (HTML DB Home >> Administration >> Monitor >> Calendar of Views by Day) or the "Calendar of Page Views" in the instance administration interface (HTML DB Administration >> Monitoring >> Calendar of Page Views), they're both implemented as htmldb calendar regions where the multiple values displayed per day are concatenated together with '
    ' strings between them.
    hope this helps,

  • Sync Icon on Menu Bar?  What does this mean? How can I get more info on it?

    I just noticed for the first time, a SYNC icon on the Macbook Pro/Lion menu bar and it is going strong - twirling its little heart out.  Im not sure what this is or what it is doing.  Im having a feeling something got set up (I dont really know what Im doing ) that had to do with maybe syncing a calendar with Google? for an Android phone?  Is t here a way I can check out what this is and what its doing -   It just keeps twirling around so Im not sure what its doing or how long it will take and I dont know that I want it doing wh atever its doing.  Maybe it has something to do with contacts?  The only option I can find when I click on the icon, it says 'cancel sync.'  Is there a way to "get info" - and find out what its doing.  I dont want it twirlling forever as I assume thats going to eat up the battery...I dont have anything set up to sync consistently so I dont know whats its doing or whether I should stop it.  Its been going on for like over 5 minutes and that doesnt seem right to me

    If it's a one-time "glitch," you can try restarting your computer with the iPod still connected.  Try ejecting again after the restart.
    If the problem recurs, you may have a process running (other than iTunes) that is accessing the iPod's storage.  When connected, the iPod's "disk" is like other mounted volumes.  This process may be some type of utility that continously monitors your mounted volumes for security reasons, such as to prevent access by malware.
    If you know of such a program that you have running in the background, there may be a setting to exclude your iPod's disk.
