I messed with my AppleTv, DMS configurations in order to try and get it updated. Now it wont connect to my internet. Is there any way to do a hard reset on the device to restore it to factory settings? Thanks guys

Yes, but have you tried the Reset function on the ATV(Settings>Genereal>reset)
You will have to connect the device to your computer with a micro-usb cable and put the ATV in DFU mode(hold menu and play button down for 7sec) It should show up in iTunes then. Click restore, it will download and install the latest software(5.0).

No, only AppleTV 1 did that and until recently ony AppleTV 1 did iTunes Extras.
iTunes Extras have just been added so maybe hope for itunes LP, though I gather Extras is streaming only and old itunes downloaded Extras may (I haven't tested yet) be incompatible.

I have international texting on my phone and it's having an issue sending images to my friends overseas. The words go through but no media.
I have Verizon's More Everything plan and after two days trying to get this sorted on their end, they want me to try a hard reset and test the texting before I restore my backup to see if it's something in the phone.

Thanks Brian. It looks like the Apple Configurator app will reset settings and account info. I will look into third party apps as well. It needs to be as simple and quick as possible as we would be doing it daily to many ATVs.

ctrl-click on the Apple TV in the iTunes list, you should get an option to transfer purchases, if not or choosing it doesn't help you may need to re-pair the Apple TV with your library, settings > computers > iTunes library and disconnect, this will erase synced content but not purchased content that hasn't transferred, to reconnect settings > computers > connect to iTunes (not shared library).

Switch it on and
Choose Photos to Share with Apple TV.

Which country you're in may affect things - I'm in UK, and Movies aren't downloadable from the cloud and even when they are some studios are not on board.

You have to restore the device within iTunes. You want to use the same computer that you always sync with so that you can restore your app data and settings. You can restore with any other computer, but you will lose everything on the iPad.
