How can i dynamically vary the color of one graph line

I was looking on the developer zone and noticed several people are looking for a way to change the color of one graph line. Simplest case I would like to know: a graph is running, then you press a button and from that point on the color of the graph changes, but doesnt change the old data line color. THis way the line will consist of different colors.
The property node changes the whole line, and the line is always just one color. It should be possible to make the line consist of different color sections, anyone know how?

The application is actually not as slow as it seemed, i had some settings set wrong (anti aliasing in plot, and some functions in advanced, when you right click on the graph)
Especially unchecking the anti-aliasing makes it much faster
Also, just plotting point and not a line, or alternatively, changing the interpolation makes it faster.
Anyway, the attached files do not rely on processor so much anymore, see for yourself

How can I delete all the text in one story?

Yeah, it's a dumb question. I've done some pretty complex things using ExtendScript, yet I can't seem to figure out how to remove all of the text in one story.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First of all, synonyms only help you easy reference the object. It doesn't have any implication of object privilege.
As long as you have proper privilege on target object. You can access it with or without synonyms.
Assuming you have proper privilege of objects, you can use following command to assume schema owner.
ALTER SESSION SET CURRENT_SCHEMA = Schema_owner

How can I always change the color of certain letters?

I know that sounds weird. But hear me out.
I was reading an article about synaesthesia, and it seems that reading with certain letters always displaying in a certain color can do interesting things.
I'm not trying to do anything too crazy, just a little experiment on myself.
So I'm wondering if anybody knows how I may change the color of certain letters on my Mac? I realize that'll make some interfaces look screwy, and in some instances it may not be possible - but is there a way?

Premiere Pro works internally with colors in an RGB (red, green, blue) color space. If you want to edit video clips you create in Photoshop in Premiere Pro, create the clips in RGB.
If you want to broadcast the final movie it is best to ensure, in Photoshop, that the colors in your image are broadcast-safe. Assign the appropriate destination color space—for example, SDTV (Rec. 601)—to the document in Photoshop.

How do I save (lock) the color in one box?

I can't seem to save the color's I'd like. I save a color in box one, move to the next, start adjusting the slide bar and the color in box one starts changing.

In order to unlock a color you need to make sure Custom harmony rule is selected in "Select Rule" section. The Custom rule will unlink your colors so that you can move the color markers around the wheel individually.
Here is brief description of other rules.
Analogous Rule: It gives colors directly next to the base color at certain angle. Space between two adjacent colors remains same as in others. Therefore, changing a slider would change the angle between two adjacent colors & hence, other colors would adjust accordingly.
Monochromatic Rule: It gives colors(tints & shades) of a single hue(base color). Change in a slider will change the color value, hence other colors also change to be on the same hue.
Triad Rule: It uses three colors that are equally spaced from each other on the color wheel.
Complementary Rule: It uses two colors that complementary to each other.
Shades: It gives brighter & darker shades of the base color.

How can I play all the songs in one genre in iOS7's music app?

Suppose you want to listen to only blues music. In the music app in iOS 7 I can't find a way to select all the songs from one genre. When you select "genre" it takes you to a list of artist in that genre but there's no way to select all the songs. In previous iOS all you had to do was select "all artist" and then "play all songs". In iOS 7 I can't seem to find that option. I've tried using Siri but if the genre of music you have is not in English then Siri won't understand. Also Siri only works if it's connected to a network. What if your not connected and you want to listen to just Blues. Is this option not in the music app in iOS 7 or am I over looking something?

Found the workaround... you are correct, this option was available in prior versions and now it is not.
In any Music app view scroll to the top to unveil the search box.
Search for your genre.
Search results will show all artists matching your query, and if you scroll above that there is a 'Shuffle All Songs' option.

How can I dynamically change the Application Date Format?

Hi everyone...
In my application (v 3.2) I let the user set the application date format dynamically through a "preference" value they can change on the go.
I then take the format they pick and assign their value (ie: DD-MON-YYYY) and pad 'HH:MI' to it and use this as the PICK_DATE_FORMAT_MASK which works great for most date pickers.
The problem I have is that some date picker I use in the application don't require the HH:MI, they simply need the DD-MON-YYYY part. Could I use the NLS_DATE_FORMAT for this? Would I then be able to use date pickers with the "use application date format"? It doesn't seem to work for me.
In other words, I basically need 2 date formats for my application date pickers; 1 for simply the dates and 1 for dates including time. And these 2 formats are chosen by the user by setting an application preference dynamically at run time.
Not sure if I make sense here....any idea?

How can I find out the angle of a straight line between two anchor points?

I would like to extend a line which is at a given angle (not 45,90 degree). Is there a quick and reliable way to do this? or to find out the angle of a segment?
What I'm doing at the moment is just direct selecting an anchor point and using the visual guides to extend it. I don't think this is exact though so was I wondering if anyone had any techniques for doing this?

Smart Guides are your friends.
As a general solution, you may:
1) With the Line Segment Tool ClickDrag between the two Anchor Points (Smart Guides say anchor);
2) With the appropriate Reference Point selected in the Transform palette, increase the W or H value and Ctrl/Cmd+Enter;
3) Lock the new auxiliary line;
4) ClickDrag the relevant Anchor Point of the original line along the extended auxiliary line (Smart Guides say path);
5) Unlock and delete the auxiliary line.
After 1), you may also click the Line Segment Tool to see the angle.
Or, in a case with a straight path (segment), you may use the Scale Tool:
1) (Direct) Select the straight path (segment);
2) Switch to the Scale Tool and Click the Anchor Point that is to stay, then ClickDrag the one to move (Smart Guides say uniform when you are dragging in the right direction).

Dynamically setting the color of the title in a Panel

Hello, I know I can set the color & font of the title in a Panel using the titleStyleName in a stylesheet. How can I dynamically change the color though? I have a component:
<mx:Panel id="myPanel"borderColor="{this.color1}" />
where this.color1 is a value that changes dynamically, and thus changes the border color. How do I do this for the color of the text in the title?
