My Rss feed is through soundcloud and I uploaded new files and they haven't appeared on my link in iTunes. Also, how can I edit my podcast page?

In fact your files do force a download - paste the URL into Safari's address bar and hit return - they will download rather than play inside the browser as they should. However they do play in the Store, so perhaps they've now instituted a workaround for that.

There are four episodes, the latest being 25 February; all four appear in the Store and when subscribing.
If you want to amend the contents of the 'Description' column and the text you see when you click the 'i' next to it you need to amend the 'itunes:subtitle' and 'itunes:summary' tags respectively. The overall 'Description' which appears in the Store page above the episodes is carried in the 'itunes:summary' tag in the top section of the feed. If you want to amend these you will need to do so wherever you constructed the feed, presumably in Soundcloud. You cannot do so in iTunes itself, it simply reads what's in the feed.

1. Don't confuse "Apple ID" with iTunes Account ID. You can have many Apple IDs but only one iTunes account active at a time.
2. If you "changed" your iTunes account ID, you actually have 2 accounts - one under the old name plus the new name.
3. You can't merge the accounts - they remain separate. Apps purcahsed under the old account name will update ONLY WHEN THE PHONE IS SIGNED IN TO THE OLD ACCOUNT NAME and visa versa.
4. Likewise, you can sync only the apps, music, media purchased under the account the phone AND iTunes are signed in to.

Very simple. Turn off Find my iDevice, then Tap Settings, General, Erase, Erase all content and settings.

First see if Finder Preferences has the box checked for... show CD, DVD, iPods checked.
Sometimes dirty DVDs won't read, mine is ery particular about smudges and scratches.

Wait 15 seconds.
Attach the computers power cable.
Wait another 5 seconds and press the power button to turn on the computer.

How can I copy my ratings and play count to my new computer?

I am reformatting my computer. Currently all my iTunes songs are saved in the typical iTunes music folder. I also have all my songs backed up on my external hard drive. I really really do not want to lose all my play counts and ratings as that is what a lot of my playlists have been created from. How can I save these settings and transfer them to my reformatted computer?

It works the same way as transferring photos or any other content. Copy the folders from the old computer to a flash drive or an external HD, and then from the drive to the new computer.

I switched phone with my brother and i could sucessfully restore everything to the new phone except my imessages. how can i restore them? and why this phone doesnt let my use my number, just my apple id for immesage/facetime? please somebody help me!!

Hi Katrina - I hear what you are saying about the problems. I've been using a BB Pearl here in Canada since January and I had the same problems with PocketMac from the start. iCal dates getting strangely duplicated after syncing and contacts in AddressBook groups getting listed twice on the BB. The only solution I used was to have the Mac always override the BB when syncing. NOt perfect but for me it was the simplest way to ensure the consistency of the data and my own sanity.
If anyone has a better solution that actually allows a clean sync I'd love to hear it.

How can I get iPhoto on my Mac to recognize my new iPhone 6? (iTunes does recognize it!)

I got one of the new iPhone 6s (the smaller version) and it's been working great. I was able to restore an old backup from my 4S and transferred everything over. iTunes recognizes the new phone and I've had no problems bringing files within apps on the phone to the computer like before. HOWEVER, iPhoto doesn't even recognize the phone so I can't import new photos off the phone. How can I get iPhoto to recognize it? I tried searching for the phone as a drive via iPhoto and that didn't work either.

Why doesn't my new calendar appear in iTunes?

I'm currently using a MacBook Pro (late 2008) running Yosemite 10.10.2 and iTunes 12.1. I sync my contacts and calendars via USB to my iPhone and iPad.
I added a new calendar to my OS X native Calendar app and expected that it would appear in iTunes to sync. However, when I go to sync my calendars I get a very old list of calendars, many of which I removed from Calendar about a year ago.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, but with no luck. According to the App Store I'm up to date with all OS and application updates.
How can I refresh the list of calendars that appears in iTunes when I go to sync info to my device? Where does iTunes grab this list from? Any thoughts or suggestions?

My ipod takes hours to back up, how can i speed it up and why does it do this?

When i plug my ipod into itunes, it used to take seconds for it to back up and sync, but now it takes hours to back up if at all, and i have downloaded the updated itunes. How do i speed it up, is there something wrong with my ipod?

How can I delete all songs and data from my 80GB ipod classic without opening itunes?

I have an older 80GB ipod classic that works but will not play any songs. I'm trying to delete all songs and data from the hard drive to see if that will fix the problem, however, it will not appear in my itunes. I've tried various ways to help it appear in my itunes but I do not want to delete my itunes because I have another ipod that has all those songs on it.
I was wondering if there was a way to restore my ipod back to the beginning without having to go through itunes. Thanks!

It might, but I wouldn't bet much on it. Either way, give it a shot.
Otherwise, if appears in Windows an external hard disk, try a low level reformat of the device's hard drive. See here for instructions on how to do this.

On your new Mac launch iTunes.
From the menu bar top of the screen click Store > Authorize This Computer
Now try syncing your iPhone.
You will be asked to enter your Apple ID and password to sign into to do this.
