How can I get a credit card off my account?

I have a credit card on my account and there is no money left on it. I need to take it off because itunes won't let me purchase anything even if it's free. I don't have anyother card to put on it so how do I take it off?

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. If you are doing it on an iOS device (iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch) then you could try tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Store on iOS 6+) and selecting 'View Apple ID' on the popup - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

Only Apple Account Security could help at this point. You can try calling Apple Support in Canada - you'll have to find one of the several ways, such as Skype, to call an 800 number from outside of the relevant country - and ask for Account Security and see if they can help. Or you can find a friend who speaks Chinese and ask them to help you talk to Apple Support in China. There are really no other options that I know of.
Note, by the way, that these are user-to-user support forums. You aren't speaking with Apple when you post here.

If you are trying to remove your credit card - and you are looking for the "None" option - apparently that option is not available in every country. So depending upon where you live, you might not see an option for "None".

Go to Store > View My Account > Edit Purchase Info. Then just click "No credit card" and hit Okay, and it will remove all of the info. Good luck.

I have a windows PC with ITUNES 10 and an IPAD 2 running 5.0.
The PC has an ITUNES account with my windows email id. ITUNES will NOT let me change this to a "ME" account which is what the IPAD is using. Qauzzy, The credit was applied to the account you used at the time you redeemed the card. There is no way to transfer the credit to another account.
You might as well just spend the $25 on the new account, and then stop using it and go back to your regular account..
For future reference, do not start a new account just because you have a problem with the code. Rather, follow the suggestions in this document: iTunes Store: Invalid, inactive, or illegible codes

Select None in the Payment Information window.
Then purchase iTunes gift cards which you can redeem from the iTunes Store to make purchases. Be aware, that the None option is not available in all counties.

Hi there, I recently got my emails (rescue and primary) compromised and had to make a new account. How do I get my credit card off the old account and add it to the new account?

I recently got hacked and I had my primary email password different from the password for the email. Now, I tried to change my primary email on the old account and it seemed to work, until I tried to sign in again and it didn't. I made a new Apple ID and it won't let me get past the option of not having to put in my credit card, now I had messaged Apple Support team and they said they put a hold on my card for if any unauthorized purchases be made it wouldn't be from me.
So now I go and ask them to simply remove my credit card from the old account so I can put it into my new one and they say you need to contact the Apple Security Team, they provide a number which doesn't work because I live in Lebanon, and there is no number in another country to get a hold of someone to talk to. OK, now they're not replying back to my emails because I need to talk to someone who is from the Apple Security Team.
I really just want this done and need help because it's been a month since this has happened, and I can't rescue my emails at all because the hacker changed the passwords to both accounts. If anyone can please help, I'm really really frustrated about this and to think they'd be very concerned about there 'valued' customer.

I cannot update any of my apps on my iPhone because it says there is a billing problem with a recent purchase. I've never purchased anything on my iPhone from the app store, but i have entered a credit card number on it. I was wondering how to get on my iTunes account and remove the credit card from it, so that i can update all of my apps.
Would removing the credit card fix the problem? And if so, how do i do it?

How can i get my credit card info to save? it says its saved and then as soon as i leave the page it says i have to provide credit card info?

every time i save my credit card info in my account on ITunes, it shows as saved and as soon as I go to buy something, it says I have no credit card on file and starts over again.

I don't mind having my card info on there but now I can't download anything and it's frustrating. All it ask for is the card security number and when I put it in it says it's invalid. So now while I'm trying to delete it, it just won't let me. The visa part stays checked all the time and I can't unmarked it. I tried to just erase the card number and security code and stuff but it says I have to have it filled in. Do you know how I can check to see if it says I owe money?
