Question: how can I get an item in my itunes library, on my mac os 10.6.7 that has a broadcast icon next to it into MP3 format so I can play it on my ipod? right now it won't let me, and it's very frustrating!!!! thanks

I might have misunderstood what you mean by the "broadcast icon," but if you are talking about an audio stream, then there is just no way you can convert a stream to MP3. What this would involve is either recording the stream, and then you would just be replaying the recorded audio on your iPod (is this what you are trying to achieve?), or reading the stream directly on your iPod, which an iPod nano does not support (it would need wireless connectivity).

But it does not allow anything to be done to the event including deleting. This showed up at the beginning of a normal import session. This is fortunately the back-up evant.

Did you perhaps mess with the contents of the library in the Finder?

I think you can only get app data back if you reinstall the app and then restore the iPod from backup. The app should contain the dat up to the time the backup was made.

I recently had to restore my iPod Touch and all of my apps and music have been replaced on my iPod but all of the music has the cloud icon next to it saying I need to download it from the cloud. I have 1000 songs, how can I download all at once?

It's the 5th gen iPod touch and each song has the cloud symbol next to it that I can tap to download from the cloud onto my iPod but I don't want to have to do that for over 1000 songs so how can I do this all at once? How do I print a label that has the artist/album on the side?

I have tried printing labels with iTunes but these are apparently for the thin CD covers. I am looking for a way to use iTunes to print out labels that has the artist and album on the side for use with regular CD covers so that I can look at the case from the side and know what CD it is.
I have a third party shareware app that does this but I would like to use iTunes because it seems to be easier.

As mentioned here, iTunes does not print labels for the CD jewel case spines. I do use iTunes to print the front cover insert, but for the back cover I use a different program called "MyCoverCD" (aka. MCCD).

This program can read the tracks names etc. from the current selection in iTunes and then print the back cover (with spines) or the front cover or various other options.

What version of iphoto? Assuming 09 or later...
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Since having Firefox I have used as a Home page a page with "tablets" showing the most recent pae of my most popular websites. By clicking on this I returned immediately to that site. Suddenly it's disappeared and I can't get it back. I tried "Options Use current pages" but that doesn't work. Help!

You can set the home page to about:newtab to have the page with the 5x3 tiles showing.
You can check the home page setting:

I assume you have tried everything here?
iPod: Cannot restore or update in iTunes with error 1415, 1417, 1418, 1428, 1429, 1430, 1436, or 1439
It doesn't mention 1442, but the same troubleshooting applies.
It wouldn't hurt to also try another available USB port on your machine and another sync cable if possible.
Lastly, try restoring the iPod on another PC or Mac running iTunes.
If you know of somebody with a PC running Windows XP still, ask them if you can download the reset utility and use it to reset the Shuffle.

I found through a Tech website, how to use Disk Utility to make restore the Mac Lion 10.7 Install unto a USB thumb drive to use as a Bootable install.
My question though is, can I still use the USB thumb drive as normal to transfer files?

I am working on an enterprise Wiki library site collection, but I want to create a link named “Convert to PDF” , which allow users to convert the current Wiki into a pdf file. I need this link to be displayed some where in all the exsiting Wikis pages, and
on any new wiki page. Can anyone advice if there is already such as capability within sharePoint 2013.

To convert the current page to PDF, you can take consideration of using jsPDF.
