How can I get Captivate to score across multiple question pools?

I have set up a Captivate assessment as follows:
A core set of 50 questions will be presented to all learners
Depending on where the learner is, he will receive an additional 10 questions from one of 5 location-specific pools
Learners will see a total of 60 questions
I have my question pools set up and branching correctly, and am using the Branch Aware option to assist with this and the progress indicator. Before the first question I have the learner click one of several buttons (not quiz elements) to set a location variable, and after presenting the core questions I use this variable to determine which random question slide to jump to next (with set of slides pointing to a different question pool). After asking the 10 random questions from that pool the learner is then redirected to the review slide so only one set of location-specific slides is encoutnered on each attempt.
All of that seems to be working as designed but the scoring is not behaving as I had expected; despite the fact that all questions are asked before the review slide is presented (i.e. all questions are within the quiz scope in both the edit-time and run-time sense) the review slide only reports results from the first question pool. For example, in a test file I reduced the question slides for the first pool to only display 2 questions, for a total of 12 presented, but my results show "0 of 2 correct" or "2 of 2 correct." The pass/fail results of the module match the review slide, so this is not a simple display issue; if I miss either of the two questions from the first pool I fail regardless of what happens in the second pool.
What am I missing? Surely there wouldn't be the option of using multiple question pools if only one could be graded ...
I am working on Captivate 6.0.1 64-bit for Windows. FWIW the file was originally created in Captivate 5 and has since been upconverted, but the additional question pools weren't introduced until after the conversion processes so I wouldn't expect this to be related to residual crud left over from that process.

I had already tried deleting the review slide itself, though Captivate wouldn't let me - it just hid it. I tried again using the method you recommended but the slide remained in the filmstrip, so I tried deleting again, then re-added it from the Quiz Settings page ... no joy, same behavior as before.
I checked the Advanced Interaction page and confirmed that all of the scored questions were configuredthe same way as the non-scored questions, with the only difference being the pool that they were drawing from.
Other thoughts? I am by no means a Captivate expert but this one really feels like it shouldn't be this hard, and I'm more than a little afraid that it's the file itself that's jacked up ...

I found that the only time Siri will read anything to you is if it finds a Wikipedia article. Siri will let you know it found that, and ask if you want it to be read out loud. Other than that you will hear the "I found this, take a look".
The only other thing you can do is activate "Speak Screen". It will involve you taking a look at your phone for a moment, selecting what you'd like to look at, but Siri will read the content to you. It's in Settings > General > Accessibility. Once activated, all you have to do is slide two fingers from the top of the screen and you will have it read to you. I use it all the time because of my astigmatism. It's pretty useful.

How can I get Captivate to revert to the top of the screen for each slide after published?

I have a project captured in 1024x768. If the user has many toolbars in browser, they have to scroll to see the whole screen. If they use F11 in IE, this virtually eliminate the problem. In MAC however, there is no F11 feature. So, how can I get the published Captivate file to load each new screen at the top scroll position? I have tried changing the html and tried adding Multiple Actions on success to click boxes with Go to Next slide and Execute JavaScript command: onload='window.scrollTo(0,1)'. Neither are working. Any idea how to get the screens to stop holding the previous screen position?

Hi GoldenCJ,
Please remove "onload" from your javascript command. The "onload" event is fired when a html page(or any other page for that matter) is loaded. In your case the page is already loaded, that is, the page is loaded again when the user moves from one slide to another. Hence your javascript will not be executed.
So just have
"window.scrollTo(0,0)" as your javascript.
This should work fine.
P.S. The execution of the javascript is browser dependent and browser settings dependent.I tried with chrome,IE 6 and FF 3.5, it is working. Please make sure that your target audience have javascript enabled in their browser.

I create separate folders based on the year and then the actual date of when I take images. You can make those folders anywhere on any hard drive that is connected to your Mac whether internal or external. I also use the Photoshop Photo Downloader that is included with Photoshop/Bridge and it will create the date folder so all I do is create a Year folder.
Open Bridge or click on the Bridge icon in PS and in the File menu item in Bridge select "Get photos from Camera". It can be a camera connected to your Mac or a memory card from a camera. A window will open and you then select the camera or memory card. Set the location they will be downloaded to, just the folder and you can Browse to a folder that you created, then in the "Create Subfolders drop down select what date stamp you want to use or or custom name or not to create subfolders at all.
I've never cared for iPhoto one bit. I tried it but found it way to restrictive. It likes to have full control over how you interact with your images.

How can I get variables to work in multiple chapters?

I am using the template for reports that came with FrameMaker 9. I have a report with a TOC, LOF, appendices, etc. (couldn't use the book template, because I am relatively new to FrameMaker and couldn't get it resized to 8.5x11). There's a running footer formatted like this: <$paratext[ReportTitle]>. It works beautifully in the body of the report, which is where I named the report and used the paragraph format [ReportTitle], but I can't figure out how to get the same footer to work in the other sections of the report. I have all of these sections in a book and I've imported the master pages, formats, variables, etc. into each section, but it still won't work. I'm guessing many of you have figured this out. How can I get iTunes to not show multiples of the same podcasts in my iPhone?

Not all, but some have the same episdoe multiple times. Every sync seems to add another one of them. This happens, through iTunes, in my iPhone 5. In iTunes, I show that I have 69 unplayed podcasts. When I sync, I can see it got to 68 for my phone (likely one is in the cloud), but then it flashes and now it shows 113. When I look at the unplayed podcasts, I show that some of them have as many as 17 of the same episode in my phone. When I go to my phone's podcast app, I see it once.
It doesn't happen to all episodes, and I can't find anything in common between those that it does happen to. The newest update to the podcast app and itunes brought back some features that have been missing for over a year, but this is getting weird.

After a couple of days, I'm noticing that the repeat(ing) offenders have more than 10 episodes, and seem to keep repeating them every time I sync.
They only show once in my phone and in the iTunes Podcasts, but through iTunes and looking at what's in my phone is when I see the repeats.
Even after I've marked a podcast as played, and deleted it from within my phone, as well as telling iTunes to delete the played episodes, it still shows multiples of the played episodes.
There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it either. They aren't the newest ones either.

Is there anyway to get my computers (both Mac) to have the same iTunes library without deleting all of one library and importing the other to it? Iphone will sync with one and only one computer a a time. Syncing to another will erase the current content from the iphone and replace with content from the new computer.

How do I get certificate authentication working across multiple domains?

I've got LC ES2 set up for certificate authentication and when there's only one domain (with a single certificate mapping set up), it works fine.
However would like to have multiple domains (application specific), with a small set of administrator type users who manage all of the domains.
To test, I've set up two domains, with the admin users in one and the normal users in the other.
I've set up two certificate mapping rules (both for the same CA), one for each domain.
However LC will only authenticate users who are matched using the first certificate mapping rule.
Has anyone else seen/tried this? Have I missed something obvious?
For the moment I'm going to have to work with a single domain, which is a pain, but will have to do for now.

The certificate mapping works in the following manner,
First the User's certificate is validated.
If the certificate is valid, the related Certificate mapping information is fetched.
From the Certificate Mapping information, the domain is determined.
Following this, the user is searched in the domain and checked for it's current/deleted status.
If user exists or is a valid one, then return an AuthResult corresponding to that is returned to the client.
The error log below says, "Certificate Authentication failed since no user exists in the system that satisfies the certificate mapping"
1. Please check if the concerned user exists in the domain registered in the second cert mapping.
2. Also check if the concerned user satisfies the attribute mapping specified in the second cert mapping.
3. Could you confirm whether the admin Users and the normal users are distinct in both the domains and not duplicate in any of them??
Because if same user exists in 2 domains, then there is no way to find out which domain you are referring to. In that case the first domain which declares the user as valid will return the AuthResult.
4. You are using LC ES2, so there is a Test Certificate utlity on the same Certificate Mapping page, which can help you confirm the validity of the user's certificate and then you can proceed.

How can I get real time updates in multiple views when scrubbing through the timeline?

I am using After Effects CS 5.5 on Windows 7. When I use the mouse to click / drag / scroll through the timeline, one view updates in real time, this is great! If I open a second view, it only updates that view when I finish scrolling.
I would like to be able to scroll back and forth through the timeline, and have two different compositions update in real time (live update)?

The long answer is: No. It's not even a performance issue, it's how AE evaluates time, since time is fluid and can be mangled in a million ways from time-remapping to expressions...
