How can I get rid of Apple Maps and Put the Google Maps back?

I wanted to know how to remove the Apple Maps and reinstall the Google Maps. The Apple Maps is a very inferior programme and not worth the space on the. Computer. It can't find anything. It's a complete waste of time.
So my original question is, how to get rid of it, and put the Google Maps back?

Although FireWire and USB connections will allow multiple iPod devices to be connected to the computer at the same time, iTunes for Windows works best with only one iPod connected at a time. If you plan to connect multiple iPod devices to the same computer, eject any iPod devices that you are not using from iTunes.

How can I get rid of "myV9" that suddenly appeared the other day when I started Firefox?

Suddenly there was a portal site named "myv9" or "V9" on the screen when I started Firefox the other day. It contains a lot of icons for programs like Facebook, Google and so on. Until now I have had only Google as start page from Firefox. Of course I can click on the Google icon to get there, but it is the only site that I want to use of all these. Nearly all the other icons (except Facebook and some others) lead to specific US sites that I never visit (for example the weather forecast for North America) , because I live in Sweden. How can I get rid of "myv9"?
Even if it doesn´t harm my computer, I am afraid that it will slow it down, and, besides, it needs an extra click to get to Google.

How can I get rid of Apple's Helvetica?

I need to get rid of the Helvetica system fonts so I can use Suitcase to load a complete set of Helvetica. I have removed all Helveticas I can find but still get a conflict when I try to open a different version.
I work with other people's files and need to load their Helveticas to prevent type reflow. Any ideas

Helvetica is a critical system font.
It's only critical to certain applications. Mail, iPhoto 7 and iLife 08 need Apple's versions that I know of. They aren't needed for the system itself, such as menu display.
Do NOT mess with critical system fonts. It could cause system instability.
They have no choice, the version of Helvetica that was used on a project must be used from then on to prevent type reflow. It won't cause instability to remove Apple's Helvetica fonts, just cause certain apps to either fail to launch, or display improperly with a different version of Helvetica active. If you read the article Templeton Peck linked to, you'll see how you can remove Apple's Helvetica fonts in section 4. Save Apple's versions somewhere else so you can activate those after you're done using the version of Helvetica you must use for a project.
If you need to use a different font with the same name, rename your new font to something else
That doesn't work. The file name of a font you see on the desktop has nothing to do with how its name is reported in the system. If a font conflicts with another, it will continue to conflict no matter what you change the name of the font to.

How can I get rid of annoying, unwanted playlists put on my phone by apple?

I hate that I can't personalize my phone. Everything with apple is so generic. Why can't products be suited to the user rather than users conforming to the product? I hate all the annoying playlists and app icons for things I don't want.

You do under some circumstances, however you are not addressing Apple here. We are users like you. As far as icons are concerned, native iOS icons cannot be deleted, but many people just create a junk folder to put them in and put that folder on their last home page. I understand this isn't the solution you are searching for, but it does help some people. Some playlists can be removed, however some cannot.

Mail, I have recently been receiving inappropriate mail which I have put to junk and deleted but they keep on coming sometimes 3 or 4 a day, how can I get rid of these once and for all. I am a lady of advancing years and do not want this.

Brand new, quad 2.8 GHZ Intel iMac. Beautiful. But has a black speck in the screen. How on earth would i get rid of this? I'm quite positive it's not on the screen. i've wiped it very firmly w/ the cloth provided. the thing is simply on the other side. Ideas?

If you can take it back to the Apple store (assuming you bought it from one). I had similar with a 24" iMac last year and they just replaced it there and then no questions, no arguing. They even transferred all my Data to the new machine. It was hassle free and I walked out of the store with a brand new replacement iMac set up like my original machine.
Don't try doing anything to it yourself if it is brand new, it will void your warranty.

How can i get rid of Lion? and reload 10.6?

My previous MBP's screen stopped working, and would be prohibitively expensive to repair. So i upgraded to a mid 2010 model 17"MBP, which i bought from Apple as a refurb -because it didn't have Lion on it , thus, my Adobe software and several other pieces of software would still be supported.
I used it for about 3 hours and the HD died, so i had to send it in for a repair. It just came back today, with a new HD that had Lion loaded on it.
Which means a great deal of my work software (which works fine on 10.6) will need to be upgraded and i can't afford to do that.
SO.... how can i dump Lion (which i HATE for various reasons.. worst OS ever if you actually use the machine for work) and then re-upload OS10.6? I have a call in to support now.. to see what they will do.. Sorry for the rambling, but i'm extremely ****** off...

Downgrade Lion to Snow Leopard
1. Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU and return to the installer. Install Snow Leopard.
This will erase the whole drive so be sure to backup your files if you don't have a backup already. If you have performed a TM backup using Lion be aware that you cannot restore from that backup in Snow Leopard (see below.) I suggest you make a separate backup using Carbon Copy Cloner 3.4.1.
If you have Snow Leopard Time Machine backups, do a full system restore per #14 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions. If you have subsequent backups from Lion, you can restore newer items selectively, via the "Star Wars" display, per #15 there, but be careful; some Snow Leopard apps may not work with the Lion files.
