How can I get the links in my PDF to be live on my iPhone/iPad? They are live on my laptop.

I created a PDF from Excel with links in it. When I open it on my laptop, the links are live. When I open it in my mailbox or iBooks on my iPhone and iPad, the links are not live. How do I fix this?

Though you've created links in Excel, they aren't properly designated as "link annotations" in the PDF. I'm not sure if you can make Excel output link annotations in PDF, but I do know that you can use Adobe Acrobat Professional to do this. In the tools panel (of Adobe Acrobat for the desktop), choose "Document Processing", then "Create Links from URL's".
The Adobe Reader for iOS will recognize and display these links. I believe that iBooks will also allow you to tap on the links, though it won't show highlights for them as the Adobe Reader will.

Just above the textarea that you use to enter the message text on the "Compose New Mail page" there is usually a button bar with buttons to add text formatting like Bold and Italic. 
That toolbar may also have a button to turn a text link into a clickable hyperlink (look for a chain like button). 
You can select the text and click that button to turn the link into a clickable hyperlink. 
If you can't find the button then hover them all to check the tooltip of each (e.g. Insert hyperlink).

My Bluetooth device is the Merkury Hexagon Bluetooth speaker, I want to know how to get the its battery level, In the manual, it says there: "Speaker battery indicator will show right on your media device (iOS support only)
Additional details:

- Not jailbroken
- The speaker doesn't have a "battery indicator" on it

this is not a build in part of any bluetooth profiles so to get that feature one needs third party software from the maker of the bluetooth device installed on the device in question

How can I get the store to keep my filter settings while browsing apps (with iPad)

While looking for apps via(and for) my iPad, often I will start with a simple one word search term, then use the category, rating, price, and product filters to narrow my search - works great.
BUT if I select an app to go to it's details page, when I navigate back to the previous page, all of the filters have been reset, and I've lost my place in the list even if I was 6 pages in. This also happens when I re-open the app store after I choose to install an app.
Why, Why, Why?!? This kind of poor user experience is so 1975.
Please help me resolve, or at the very least, come to terms with this issue.

Delete the broken links in iTunes then look at your purchased list to redownload.
If this happened because you were deleting files from the iTunes folder in Finder, don't. You have to let iTunes do all the deleting and moving or you will end up with broken links.

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

Whether you can redownload music depends upon what country that you in. If you are using your computer's iTunes then does music show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page (on your phone you might be able to redownload media via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app) ? If music shows there, but not that album, then check to see if it's hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
If you aren't in a country when you can redownload music and it's still on your phone then you should be able to copy it over from the phone via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases.
