How can i make a linking column in a report
I basically want to add a column to the end of my reprot that contains the test more info and then make this linkable for the attrubuites of that particualr row.
I know how to make a column linkable and how to link it to the id of the row, all i need to know is how to add a row to the report conitaning the same value for each row like a default row or something?
Any one any ideas

Thanks i have done this to add a clumn link and put all the links in correctly the thing i am having trouble is where to put the word "more Info" so that this is then displayed in the column and linkable.
I have tried putting this in HTML Expression [Insert column value] but this only shows the word more info the link doesnt work.
Any one any ideas?

As you can see the basis for my website is a Spry Accordion.
The words with a large font-size are the first navigationlevel. The
smaller words in the Tabs are the secondaire navigationlevel. Now I
want to make it this way that when you click on a single word (for
example: first ideas), you will enter a new page. So it has to link
to another document (i.e. firstideas.html)
Is this possible? If so, how can I make this?Problem is that its a tab menu. The very nature of the
javascript that
drives it is to open that tab anywhere where the mouse clicks
along its
length. As the links are also in the tab it just ignores
these and opens
the tab.
Can you not move the links to within the sub-section of the
tab, that's
how things usually work with a tabbed menu.
I'm sure its not impossible to achieve what you want but it
might be
beyond your capabilities. It certainly looks as though you
would need to
alter the code substantially and maybe re-write the
javascript to make
it conform.

As to where to put the code, edit your web template, then put the code in there. There are script web items that you can use, but be aware that editing javascript in the script item is not too pleasant. I have found the best approach is to rather create the javascript file on my machine, then upload it to the MIME repository, then reference that in the web template.
Here is how I have referenced the javascript file sitting in our MIME repository:

How can I make a link to EBS from BIEE 11g?
Hello, I have some trouble with BIEE.
I tried to make a link to EBS from BIEE using Action, but it doesn't work.
I read manual and set as it is written, but when I click the link I got
message which says that "Oracle eBusiness Suite Server cannot be used now.
Please try it again.

I tried to edit xml files in many ways, but it doesn't work...

In this document I followed the step to make database object and connection pool, set up
authentication and modify xml files. Then I thought I could use BI Action Navigate to EBS,
but it didn't work, then I asked coworkers and I've told to do "5.3 Embedding Links to Oracle Business Intelligence in Oracle E-Business Suite" in this document.
At first I thought I need not do this setting because I would like to make action navigate from BI to EBS,
not from EBS to BI.
Although I managed to embed link to BI in EBS, it still doen't work.(but the connection from EBS to BI was successful)
And I tried to verify BI and EBS are in same domain, but I have no idea how to verify.
Could you please give me the way to check it?

How can I make a link or icon to a document on my iPad?
I would like to create a bookmark icon on my iPad to a document I create. I can email my documents to myself without any problem or make a link from dropbox, but I would like to be able to make a link that I can open on my iPad without being online. For instance, I can e-mail a document to myself and then open it in different apps, but I am not given a choice of creating a link or bookmark icon on my iPad to get to that document quickly for when I don't have Internet access.
If you open the document in Adobe Reader, then Adobe Reader will keep a copy of the file. You can later launch Reader and open it from there while offline.

How can I make the links work when the site is published.
I am a new iWeb user and have built the website www.realmoroccotours.com and am having a few problems that I hope someone can help me with.
First - in Iweb everything works fine but when it is published the links in the top and bottom menu do not work. If I clic on the link before the page is fully loaded it odes work. My host gave me the following information but I have no idea what it means or how to fix it. I have rebuilt the whole site but still the same thing happens.

Secondly, the site loads very slowly - although not all the time. Any suggestions on how to make it faster loading would be appreciated.All it means is that the image is blocking the navigation menu/overlapping - all you need to do is move it out of the way and the menu should work. Do a view all in iWeb and you can then see what is overlapping and what you need to move.
You could also build your own nav menu if you like so that your site will be found more easily - javascript, which the iWeb menu is, is not always found that easily. You don't need to re-build the whole site - just the nav menu.
If you want to speed up your site, then you could try using Web Crusher or iWeb Maestro to speed it up - you need to do this post publishing though, so publish to a local folder and then run it through either of these to get rid of the bloated code that iWeb creates and then upload your site. -
When I follow a link in a new tab, the tab opens to the right of the current tab as expected. To make room for the tab on the tab bar, any tabs to the right of the current tab shift right. If there is room for all the tabs on the bar, this behavior is perfect. If however, there isn't sufficient room, some tabs must be hidden to the right or the left of the visible bar. Currently the rightmost visible tab is hidden. This behavior is suboptimal for me because I very often want to switch to tabs on the far right while I very seldom want to switch to tabs on the far left. Is there is a way to cause tabs to the left of the new tab to shift left thereby hiding the leftmost visible tab? Thanks
I'm not aware of a way to make Firefox hide the first tab instead of the last tab; maybe there is an add-on with that feature.
There is a hidden setting to open the new tab at the end of the bar instead of next to the page you're reading. Then, of course, you won't have this problem. Instead, you'll have the problem that it's hard to figure out which tab had that link in it. In case you want to try it out, here's how.
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste '''tabs''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the '''browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent''' preference to switch it from true to false (it should turn bold)
You're done here. You can keep it open in case you hate the change and watch to switch it right back. In that case, double-click again to switch it back to true. -
"Contact us" links on web sites open a box that says "This link needs to be opened with an application. Send to:" My only e-mail account is through my Comcast.net account but Comcast is not an option. When I choose Firefox, which is an option, a new blank window opens but I have no idea how to generate an outgoing e-mail message. This is very frustrating because I cannot seem to find any help with this issue and i seem to be precluded from e-mailing numerous organizations because of this. I do not want to create a new gmail or other type of e-mail account if I can help it. I already have enough accounts and passwords to try and keep a handle on.

How can I make "Open Link in New Tab" open the new tab in the same window, not a different window?
When I Ctrl-click a link and choose "Open Link in New Tab" it chooses to open the new tab in a different window (one that's already open) rather than opening the new tab in the same window. Even though the other window is minimized, it automatically gets restored and placed on top of the window I was in. This interferes with my context, forcing me to minimize the window again to get back to the one I was in before. I want the new tab to open in the same window, so I can still see the tab I was in. Some links seem to have the "Open Link in New Tab" behavior automatically, so I never know when I'm going to get thrown out of my current window. Very annoying.
If you have a mouse with a scroll button then try to middle click the link to open the link in a new tab.
It is also possible that the links use onclick JavaScript instead of a href to specify the action.

How can I make a link a different color than the other links according to the current page?
Hello. I have created a navigation bar. And I would like to style the links to have the current page link a different color than the other links. For example, if all of the links have a black background, I would like to have the current page link to have a white background. The reason that I would like to style them this way is so that the visitor knows what page is being visitied.
I tried different ways but all of them did not show to make any change to the links. This is what I have so far. The links work, but all of them have the same color and background. When on the home page, I would like to have the home page link to have a white background with black letters. I would appreciate your advice.

How can I make the playlist column appear on the left side of iTunes?
Help! I'm left handed nearly always set everything up to the left side of the page. I'm having trouble training my brain to navigate on the new iTunes home page. Moving playlist info. etc. to the right said of the page is uncomfortable for me and distracting. Anyone know how to move this column from the right side of the page to the left?

I had a situation similar to this. I had NULL selected in the column when I wanted to hide the link. Please find below more explenation:-

so, when data in col2 of report is c1 or d1[can be a different display condition, you may want to implement this with CASE or anyother SQL construct] , I selected NULL which will not show the link.
so, my point is, if the SQL you have in the INTERACTIVE REPORT is creative enough to have NULL in the column, Link is not enabled.

All data in the about:healthreport Firefox Health Report page is accurate except for the persistently inaccurate bookmarks count in the Vital Stats section of the page, which counts only 14 bookmarks and fails to count the other 7903 bookmarks.

The about:healthreport Firefox Health Report Raw Data page shows bookmarks 7917.
The Firefox/Bookmarks/Show All Bookmarks/Library window shows 7910 items.
How can I make the about:healthreport Firefox Health Report Vital Stats section correctly and accurately show "bookmarks 7917" instead of incorrectly and erroneously showing "bookmarks 14"?

(1) In the Firefox Navigation Bar, type "about:healthreport" (without the quotation marks) to open the Firefox Health Report page.
(2) On the left side of the Firefox Health Report page, in the Vital Stats section, the following data appears: bookmarks 14. This is false data because the browser actually has 7917 bookmarks, not 14 bookmarks. All other data in the Firefox Health Report page is accurate.
(3) In the Firefox Health Report page, click the Raw Data link to reveal all Raw Data.
(4) Page Down approximately 10 pages to the following specific Raw Data:

On the support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions site, after selecting ASK A QUESTION and writing this question, I attempted to upload image files with the question, but I am unable to upload a JPG (97 KB) image file or a PNG (307 KB) image file because the "Add Images Browse" function appears to be broken.
Each time I click the "Add images: Browse" button, select one of the image files, and click "Open" to upload the image file, a spinning gear appears in a square beneath "Uploaded images:", and the spinning gear continues to spin without stopping. The image file does not upload.
While the gear is spinning, the message "Uploading <filename>.jpg" or "Uploading <filename>.png" remains constantly visible beneath the square that contains the spinning gear.
I think the gear would have continued to spin for eternity if I had not reloaded the page after the gear had been spinning for a full 7 minutes.

You can place a blank composition widget then click tigger 1, click inside target 1 and from menu--> files--> place the image and adjust it's dimensions, you can repeat the same steps for trigger 2 and 3
