How can I modify the about:config page to automatically install/allow a new addon that I dropped in the profile folder?

We are pushing policy to create an add-on for our workstations in our labs. It is the click once .net assistant, and when we push the folder, prefs.js, and config.ini with policy the add on works, but FFx comes up with the 'allow installation' tab every time. Is there a way to enable/install the addon without that page coming up?
We work in a 'frozen' environment (Faronics DeepFreeze), so using policy for fixes like this is nice, but we are hoping to clean it up so we don't see that allow installation tab.

How can I export my about:config page

I would like to export my about:config page, so that when I reinstall Firefox I do not have to go back and manually change what I changed in the past

Copy the prefs.js file(it is in the profile) somewhere and then insert it.
The prefs.js file does not actually contain all of the settings. It only '''stores changes made to the defaults''', after they are written back to disk.

I am using Aurora, but I can't find out how to ask a question for it and not firefox. My real question is how to reach the about: config page in Aurora.

Note that your System Details List shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize prefs each time Firefox starts.
The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be there.
You can check its content with a plain text editor (right-click: Open with) if you didn't create this file yourself.
The user.js file is read each time Firefox is started and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.

Reset is grayed out in the about:config page after right clicking on specific comands to reset. What do I do?

Disabling cookies or Flash or JavaScript also gives a specific error message, so I don't know what it is in your case.

How can I get themes from older version of iDVD installed on my new machine?

I recently tried to open an iDVD project that I haven't opened in years. I got the following error Message:
"The Project you chose uses a theme that is not installed. You must install the theme before continuing."
I clicked OK and then a menu popped up saying that I could download the theme(s) via Software Update. So I selected Download now. Software update opened and said it was checking for updates. Then after it was finished it said there was no new software for my computer and closed.
The Project was created using iDVD 4.0.1 on a PowerMac G4 and now I'm trying to open it using iDVD 7.0.4 on an intel iMac . Any help about how to get the correct themes installed would be appreciated. Thanks.

The only sure fire way to get all themes is to start with the iLife 09 disc:
This shows the iDVD contents in the iLife 09 disc via Pacifist:
You then can upgrade from iDVD 7.0.3 to iDVD 7.1.2 via the updaters at the Apple Downloads webpage.
The iLife 11 disc only provides the themes from iDVD 5 - 7. None of the updaters available from the Apple Download site contain the earlier themes
