If the music on the iPod was purchased through iTunes you can try Transfer Purchases.
Connect the iPod to the Mac and launch iTunes. Right click on the iPod name on the left side of the iTunes window under the devices heading and select Transfer Purchases. That should transfer the music into the iTunes library on the Mac.

You should be able to recover the media with the tips in this post from forum regular Zevoneer but I'm not sure what the implications are for your application settings. You can probably transfer your purchases into a newly authorised library, backup the device, recover any other media using third party tools, then restore the device from the backup. That should switch the assocation of the device to the new library but it is not something I've personally tested.
When you get it all working, make a backup!

I have purchased a new computer and installed iTunes on it and have authorize the computer but only the songs I purchased from apple sync up with the ipod. Hello, how can I transfer the music from my Ipod to the Itunes on my desktop?

As known my system crashed recently, so I have had to install everything again also Itunes.
Earlier all my music CD's were installed in the Itunes library, of course I did loose everything exept my purchases from the Itune store.
luckely all de music was also set on my Ipod. How can I export the music library from Ipod to my imac without performing a syncronisation which would make me loose the music tunes from my Ipod Touch.

Unfortunately, iTunes doesn't give you the options to transfer non-purchased songs in the iTunes Store from an iPod to the iTunes library, so you have to use a third-party app.

Syncing is only one way Computer -> iPod, except songs bought from iTunes.
You need 3rd party tool to help you do this. Use Google to search for solution.

When i bought my car (AUDI A6) 2 years ago I forgot to order an iPod connection. My question is how to transfer the music from my iPod to a sd card and at the same time convert it into a format which enables me to use the sd card in my car audio system? Would guess I need conversion into mp3 or mpeg.

If you go to the File tab in itunes, under Library there is an option to export your library and also one for backing it up. There are many programs that will convert non-DRM music to different formats.

You should move the music from your old computer to the new one then sync. The ipod touch is not a backup device.
You should always have a backup. If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup (bad idea), then you can transfer itunes purchases from your ipod:
Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
The ipod touch will sync with one computer at a time. When you sync to a different computer, it will erase the current content from the ipod first, then replace with content from the new computer.

You need to copy everything from the old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.
The ipod is ot a backup device. It simply irrors the selected content of your computer.

You will need some sort of third-party software to 'drag' your music out of your iPod.
In order to make sure people don't use their iPods as giant portable disks to share 1000's of songs, they haven't made a function to extract your music from the device.
As said, you'll need some sort of software to do so.
