I want to raise the volume on a video clip in Premiere Elements 12. Can anyone help?

Always good to give the computer operating system involved in case any computer specific details needed to be included. But here is your
generalized yet specific answer for Premiere Elements 12 and increasing the volume of a video clip.
If you are in the Expert workspace...
a. click and drag upward the orange band that runs horizontally through the middle of the audio clip.
or
b. go to Adjust Tab/Adjustments Palette/ Volume Panel expanded on move the volume slide toward +6 dB.
0 db does not represent no sound. It represents the volume of the sound when it was recorded. 0 to +6 dB increases the sound above the recording level; 0 to infinity symbol decreases the sound below the recording level, finally to muted sound.

How can i decrease the fuzziness of my video clip in imovie?

I have imported video clips into imovie and when i crop out the background so the person is closer, it becomes fuzzy ... so i uncropped the clip and now i have exported the video using quick time and chose the 1920 x 1080 HD size which made it a little better although still kind of fuzzy ... when the screen is small, it is clear ... just want to know if there is something else i can look at ... thanks everyone!!

hi, I'm a new user of iMovie 08.
I fail to find the function button that can make a video clip slow down or faster, such as change the speed to 60% of the normal speed,etc.
I know iMovie 06 has this function,it's in video FX,duration,speed...but I can't find the menu in iMovie08.
Is there anyone knows where it is?

Whenever I'm watching something whether its on YouTube or others, I can barely hear it even when I put my laptop to full volume. I've tried this:
(Right click the speaker icon in the Taskbar and select 'Playback Devices'. Left click the default device once to highlight it ( it's usually 'speakers & headphones' ) then click the Properties button. Click the Enhancements tab and put a tick in the box next to 'Loudness Equalization'. )
but I haven't seen an "Enhancements tab" after I've done everything? Pleas help

The sound being to low on YouTube, could a number of possibilities. To clarify a bit further what is going on, is the sound to low with other web based programs? Does this happen when you listen to a CD/DVD or mp3? Have you tried watching YouTube videos on a different browser? If so, was the sound the same or better?
A great document for troubleshooting steps is, 'No Sound from Speakers (Windows 8)'. This will walk you through using the built in troubleshooter, as well making sure that all audio drivers are up to date. Please let me know if these steps have brought back your sound.

Apple does not repair devices beyond replacing the screen on some models or a battery replacement. They replace the ENTIRE device.

Did you try that while on a phone call? Also there are different volumes for different devices. If you have your earbuds in and set a volume that will change the volume for when your earbuds are in. If you have a bluetooth headset you can set a volume for that.

I think those files are Samsung's proprietary format, so only the Samsung software can open and display them. If they do not make their software for OS X, then you are stuck requiring windows.

InDesign's PDF export engine does not transcode your videos, they are embedded exactly as they were in the original file. The Flash Player runtime which displays video inside PDF files may not show a perfect match to Quicktime etc. because most video playback tools aren't designed for a color-calibrated workflow, but they should be close.
The playback quality (blocking and aliasing) will be affected if the clip is not playing at 100% (screen pixels != video pixels) and in PDFs with the standard video player widget, that will only ever happen when you use 'floating window' mode. PDF pages have physical dimensions, so viewing them at "100%" does not make them match screen pixels.
If you don't mind the video clip being smaller than the media annotation in which it's playing, then use my free upgrade to the Acrobat playback widget - VideoPlayerX - which maintains 1:1 pixel scale until the page is zoomed out too far for it to fit. You can install the widget into InDesign so it's used by default when exporting.

As far as I know, this is not a simple task and requires special software that offers per-application sound control. I remember seeing a program like this several years ago, but I wouldn't know where to direct you or whether it still exists.

Alright now if you are talking about issues using Safari, here a few things that you can try.
1. Quit Safari completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
2. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
3. Clear Safari. Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

I don't know if this is possible but sometimes I want to reduce or increase the volume level of several clips (10 or 20) by the same amount while they are linne up in the timeline, they are individual clips arranged back to back during the edit. I want to either up the volume by 10db or down 10db from baseline 0db.
Do I have to do it induvidually or is ther a way to select them and apply the change to all of them at one time.????

And to go a step further, put them all into a Compound Clip, and you can apply a single filter to them all at once, plus keyframe your audio over time to them all at once.
