How can I re-install my printer software without the CD? (I lost it)

I have a Canon MG3100 series printer. I have moved 2x in the last year, so I have misplaced the installation software. The printer software is installed on my computer, but I did it wrong, where I have to use a USB cable, but I want to do wireless. I read the forum that said I need to uninstall the software and then reinstall it with the CD, choosing the wireless option, but I can't find my CD! Is there any way to fix this problem?? I don't use a desk for my computer, so using a USB is quite aggravating. Please help!

Hello, many options...
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
   2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
      *Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
   3. Click the Erase tab.
   4. Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the hard drive icon to display the names of your hard disk volumes and partitions.
   5. Select your Mac OS X volume.
   6. Highlight the drive, select Partition Tab, then Format type... MacOS Extended Journalled, select the Security Options button, choose Zero Out Data, Erase... after completion do a new install.

Open System Preferences>Accounts, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.
In the same pref pane highlight your old account, click the little minus icon, then use Disk Utility to Secure Erase Free Space.

Firefox generally displays the printers in Windows' Printers folder (Start orb > Devices and Printers). If it is missing one of the printers listed there, could you indicate which one it is, for example, Adobe Distiller, PrimoPDF, CutePDF Writer, etc.?
If you previously had an add-on which added print-to-PDF functionality just to Firefox, perhaps it got disabled. You could check here:

Also, are you really running Firefox 8.0.1? That version from last November is no longer secure and has been superseded by Firefox 11. If you browse the web widely, you should update for your security.

I have an iPad 3 and when trying to print Pages documents from EpsoniPrint there is a border, how can I get it to print normal without sending it to my Mac?

I have both quickoffice and pages on my iPad, and when I try to print from either of those through EpsoniPrint they don't print "normal". And pages prints with a border around it. How can I adjust that or is there a better app for printing via wireless? I have an epson 510, so it's wireless capable but not AirPrint.

I am using some CAD software and I use the “create PDF” function of the printer dialogue to make a PDF. The problem is my drawing is quite large so I need to install a printer driver for a printer that handles larger paper (Epson 1280). I have the driver, but it refuses to install without the printer being attached to it.

Also, in the form interface of the smartform declare the table to which u want to pass these values.
The above process will help u to pass values into the smartform from print program.

Hi All, my applet uses java3d api. To see this applet in the browser on the client side we need to install java3d runtime envoirnment. Is it neccassary or can we avoid it. If we can avoid installing java3d runtime env , how can we do that.. Can Java WebStart help in this.

Yes, of course we can avoid it. Just as we can avoid asking the user to download the JRE if they want to run java.
The only slight pay off we make for that is that the program won't run at all on their computer.
As long as this is not an issue, there should be no problem.
Seriously, my understanding is that Web-Start can hide the fact that we are installing Java 3D on their machine or at least make the installation very simple. There is no way to run Java3D applications without Java3D.
