How can I remove an app that someone else downloaded on my device with their Apple ID

My nephew downloaded Facebook on my iPhone using his Apple ID and password. I deleted the app and am trying to download it again, but it always asks for his itunes password. How can I permanently get rid of apps he downloaded so I can download them using my id and password?

Drag the app icon out of the Apps folder and drop it in the Trash. If you want to make sure that you got all associated files use a deletion app such as AppCleaner.

I read your advice to uninstall an app.using AppCleaner.This seems confusing.When I check the file location to see the total package contents,the file shows considerable more MB's than when I use AppCleaner and not near as much.Using AppCleaner would mean I would be leaving a considerable amount of residual garbage.Why is the AppCleaner not cleaning everything out.If i was to delete from the file location and send it to trash,would I be deleting support files.

The file needed is titled domain.sites and would be located in the Users/Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder on the ex-husband's computer. If that file can be obtained you can edit and continue to manage the site.
Otherwise you'll have to start over from scratch. Chapter 2.3 on the iWeb FAQ.org site has tips on using some of the existing files, image, audio, video, etc., from the published site in the creation of the new site.

How can I register an iphone that someone else bought?

My coworker has purchased two iPhone 5s via the store.apple.com and therefore with his Apple ID. One for him and one for me. (He is traveling at the moment and therefore unavailable, so this may have to wait before I can resolve this.)
When I go to https://supportprofile.apple.com and attempt to register the serial number for my phone, I am presented with: "According to our records, this serial number is registered to another Apple ID."
I'm quite sure my coworked did not register this phone under his Apple ID at this web site as I unpacked it from the box.
How do I go about resolving this?

If it's unlocked, you put your SIM card in it and follow the on screen directions. If it is NOT unlocked, you contact the carrier it's locked to and find out if you're eligible to have it unlocked.

I tried to download an app called piictu. The app will not download and I cannot remove it. When I try to download from iTunes it tells me there was an error and the connection was reset. How do I get rid of the bloody thing!

Yes, I deauthorized all computers, reauthorized the primary. re-synced, restarted, updated iOS.. you name it.

My son turned off the wifi and turned it back on and hit the home button and quickly went back to the app and held it down before it could start recognizing the download and deleted the app. You must be quick.

It would only be possible by pointing a camera at the iPad screen whilst you use it, and sending that video over the net somehow (Skype etc.) from another device.
There is no functionality to stream the iPad screen over the Internet built in to iOS, only the iPad camera input over FaceTime.

Press and hold any of the apps and after a couple of seconds or so they should start to shake. Then press the 'x' in the left corner to delete the ones that you don't want, and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the shaking. If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded (you can't delete built-in apps) then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off'

You can delete them from your computer's iTunes and/or from your device, but you can't currently permanently delete them from your purchase history, all you can do is hide them so that they are less visible : hiding and unhiding (the ability to hide items directly on a device doesn't appear to work in iOS 6)

Open the iTunes app on your computer, highlight the Apps in the left column, right click over the icons of the apps that you wish to delete and choose Delete.

If someone else's Apple ID comes up when trying to update an app it means that that app was downloaded or purchased under that Apple ID and not yours. Apps are always associated with the ID used to download or purchase them the first time.
To avoid this from happening in the future delete that apps purchased under the other ID and download or purchase them with your ID.
