How can I remove KitKat and revert to Jellybean?

Over last weekend I finally did the update to KitKat on my Razr M.  Since the update my phone has been almost unusable.  Before the update I was almost never off the 4G network. All this week at both work and home my phone rarely trains up with the 4G network signal any longer. More than not it is only showing 3G. In fact there are extended periods of time where there is 1X showing or no data at all.  That is the biggest complaint. 
Second, the update completely nullified several apps that I had installed. The most of which that I lament losing is the original AOSP browser, While it was an updated version and a download from the google play store it worked far better for me than Chrome.  I use chrome on my computer all the time but the mobile version does not work for me at all. For this reason I located the original (what used to be the default browser on any android device) browser. As soon as the update took effect most of the additional browsers available stopped working. I can not use the mobile chrome as the functionality doesn't work for me.  So my browsing is down to almost nil.
Third.  The look and feel of the device is not to my liking.  This is all about personal choice, but the lack of option to set the background color or any color choice in any of the menus, Status bar, just about anywhere is frustrating.  I miss having the dark backgrounds and the blue status icons.  Again this is personal preference but it is important.  The dull white icons are just not pleasing to the eye.  And the overly cartoon style menus and dial pad looks awful to me.   I prefer the simple menu that was in Jellybean.
This update has rendered my phone almost useless compared to previous function.  Short of rooting the device and returning to Jellybean manually I need options here. Without the data abilities on the phone running at full I am limited on being able to use the phone for work or personal.

    An update should only improve your device senslessj. I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties. We can definitely troubleshoot the signal strength concerns. I'm sorry you don't like the look of the latest OS. Our control is limited as this is implemented by the OS developer and the equipment manufacturer. You mentioned home and work locations. What zip codes are these? How is the service outdoors?

    1) ASM Instance Clean-Up Procedures
    Stop all of the databases that use the ASM instance that is running from the Oracle home that is on the node that you are deleting.
    On the node that you are deleting, if this is the Oracle home which from which the ASM instance runs, then remove the ASM configuration by completing the following steps. Run the command srvctl stop asm -n node_name for all of the nodes on which this Oracle home exists. Run the command srvctl remove asm -n node for all nodes on which this Oracle home exists. If there are databases on this node that use ASM, then use DBCA Disk Group Management to create an ASM instance on one of the existing Oracle homes on the node, restart the databases if you stopped them.
    If you are using a cluster file system for your ASM Oracle home, then ensure that your local node has the $ORACLE_BASE and $ORACLE_HOME environment variables set correctly. Run the following commands from a node other than the node that you are deleting, where node_number is the node number of the node that you are deleting:
    rm -r $ORACLE_BASE/admin/+ASMnode_number
    rm -f $ORACLE_HOME/dbs/*ASMnode_number
    If you are not using a cluster file system for your ASM Oracle home, then run the rm or delete commands mentioned in the previous step on each node on which the Oracle home exists.
    2) Deleting an Oracle Clusterware Home Using OUI in Silent Mode
    !!! Oracle recommends that you back up your voting disk and OCR files after you complete the node deletion process.
    If you ran the Oracle Interface Configuration Tool (OIFCFG) with the -global flag during the installation, then skip this step. Otherwise, from a node that is going to remain in your cluster, from the CRS_home/bin directory, run the following command where node2 is the name of the node that you are deleting:
    ./oifcfg delif –node node2
    Obtain the remote port number, which you will use in the next step, using the following command from the CRS_home/opmn/conf directory:
    cat ons.config
    From CRS_home/bin on a node that is going to remain in the cluster, run the Oracle Notification Service Utility (RACGONS) as in the following example where remote_port is the ONS remote port number that you obtained in the previous step and node2 is the name of the node that you are deleting:
    ./racgons remove_config node2:remote_port
    On the node to be deleted, run rootdelete.sh as the root user from the CRS_home/install directory. If you are deleting more than one node, then perform this step on all of the other nodes that you are deleting.
    From any node that you are not deleting, run the following command from the CRS_home/install directory as the root user where node2,node2-number represents the node and the node number that you want to delete:
    ./rootdeletenode.sh node2,node2-number
    If necessary, identify the node number using the following command on the node that you are deleting:
    CRS_home/bin/olsnodes -n
    Perform this step only if your are using a non-shared Oracle home. On the node or nodes to be deleted, run the following command from the CRS_home/oui/bin directory where node_to_be_deleted is the name of the node that you are deleting:
    ./runInstaller -updateNodeList ORACLE_HOME=CRS_home
    "CLUSTER_NODES={node_to_be_deleted}"
    CRS=TRUE -local
    Deinstall the Oracle Clusterware home from the node that you are deleting using OUI as follows by running the following command from the Oracle_home/oui/bin directory, where CRS_home is the name defined for the Oracle Clusterware home:
    ./runInstaller -deinstall –silent "REMOVE_HOMES={CRS_home}"
    Perform step 9 from the previous section about using OUI interactively under the heading "Deleting an Oracle Clusterware Home Using OUI in Interactive Mode".

    I believe that I have the same issue with iPad Mini with Retina Display, iOS 8.1. No matter which way I delete videos from my iPad, they will still show as "deleted", yet the space is not cleared up. I tried restore and then a full restore (clean setup as a new iPad) and it still does this to me. I can solve it by doing a restore each and every time I download a video and delete it. Rather frustrating. Has been a problem since day 1 of iOS 8. I'm yet to try the power+home button reset. It may very well work, but I am surprised that a "fresh setup" of an iPad didn't resolve it from ever occurring.

    Hi Venkat,
    Create a context attribute say Va_Attr1 in the parent view, popup view and component controller. Map both the context in 2views to the component controller. So, the context variable which is bound to input field is passed via component controller to popup view and is stored in there as context attribute.
    Now, you can just get the context attribute value set in the input field in parent view and use it for search in popup view.
    In order, to have tables with multi-selection. Goto table properties and in selectionMode, set multiNoLead instead of auto.
    Then in the wdDoInit() of popup view put,
    wdContext.node<Table>().setLeadSelection(-1);
    Loop through the table node and find out at what all index rows are selected for table using

  • How can i remove moved and deleted old libraries?

    I've moved a bunch of my libraries around, removed some, and have installed iphoto9 on a new mac. I love that in iphoto9 I can now create new libraries or decide which library to open. But, all of my older libraries are showing up in the list when I open with "option". Plus there are duplicates of the older libraries. I'm assuming there is a db or data text file somewhere that is populating this list. Does anyone know how I can remove old defunct libraries from showing up in the list?

    Well, the raw footage is an avi filmed with a handycam. This error occurred
    the next day after I finished the editing in Adobe Premiere cs5. It might
    be something wrong with the title graphics that I use, but still if there's
    a solution I would like to find it out as this error occurred before.

  • Catalog is jacked,  How can I remove it and start over

    My catalog is really in bad shape, I have tried to remove it, and can find no option to do so.  I have tried to reconnect all missing files, and it runs through about 25,000 pictures and when it is done, nothing is changed. most of my directores are empty, if I have any photos displayed they are showing question marks, and only about 1/10 of the photos are actually connected.   I have tried to get photos and videos from folders but it does not help. (similar results to reconnecting.
    This program is worthless with a bad catalog.  I tried to un install the entire program and much to my dismay when I resinstalled, it, there was my bad catalog!!!!.
    I tried to delete files with catalog in my pictures\pictures directory, but his  had no impact.
    Please help!

    Thanks. PE7.  Now I figured this one out, but it took a while. I tried to use the optimize and the repair functions, but still had a very corrupt file.  I finally realized that it would not let me delete my catalog until a created another one (seems like it will not let you delete your only catalog).  Once I created a new one, I was able to delete the old one.  Then with the new empty catalog, I was able to rebuild it so it only looked at my pictures directory.  Took about 1 hour or so to complete 20 k of photos, but now I am good.

    There is no need to download anything to solve this problem.
    You may have installed one or more of the common types of ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it. It's been reported that some variants of the "VSearch" malware block access to the page. If that happens, start in safe mode by holding down the shift key at the startup chime, then try again.
    Back up all data before making any changes.
    One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those. If Safari crashes on launch, skip that step and come back to it after you've done everything else.
    If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, ask for further instructions.
    Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. It may have come from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download."     I can open Firefox on startup, but once I get off of it I can't get back on until I shut down and restart. If I get on mail first, I can't get on Firefox. I can't open some attachments in the emails either unless I open the mail while Firefox is still open. And I keep getting an error message about "having to close unexpectedly" with "restore" or "open new session" options. It acts like something is still open somewhere and the computer can't open anything else.
    Also, when I go from one email to the next, the previous message doesn't automaticall y close like it used to. Also, the little green bar that usually indicates some action is solid and stationary when I can't get on to Firefox.
