If you open the Pages panel, (Window>Pages) you will see thumbnails of your master pages and your document pages. In new documents, there is usually a master called A-Master and one called None. If you drag the thumbnail of the None master onto the thumbnail of a document page, it will apply that master to that page. Presumably, you have made your page numbers on A-Master, so this will usually do the trick. If you have elements on A-Master that you need on the first page, but just not the page number, you can duplicate A-Master (which, by default will give you B-Master, but you can change the names if you like) and remove the page number on the duplicate and apply that to the document page.
It might also be worth noting that you can apply master pages in the fly-out of the Pages panel. Go to the fly-out triangle and go down to Apply Master to Pages…, then select a master to apply and the range of pages (1-8 will give you all 8, 1, 3, 5, 7 will be the odds, 1-3, 4, 6-8 if you want continuous ranges and individual pages).

I've searched all the forums and still can't find an answer for what i need (what i think i need!)
I have an iphone without a data plan so whenever anybody who is registered with imessage sends me a message i will not
receive it until i am back on wifi.
What i want to achieve is to be able to receive sms messages from imessage users when i am not on wifi and then imessages when i am back on wifi.
My assumption is that if i can unlink my mobile number from iMessage and only have it associated with my email address that this should work, but i cannot seem to remove my phone number from imessage, in the settings > iMessage > send and receive it will allow me to un-tick the associated email addresses but my phone number is greyed out and will not allow me to untick.
On my home Mac i can go into messages app and deselect the phone number but not on the iphone.
One solution says to deregister my phone on https://supportprofile.apple.com/ which i have tried (i can't see how that would work anyhow as there is no phone number in that registration)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
thanks, AndyRegardless if using your cell phone number or your Apple ID email address, iMessage requires an internet connection via an available wi-fi network or via your carrier's cellular network. Without a data plan and no internet access with your carrier's cellular network, an iMessage addressed to your email address can be received only when your iPhone is connected to an available wi-fi network no different when an iMessage is addressed to your cell phone number.
You cannot deselect or remove your cell phone number below you can be reached by iMessage at with iMessage on an activated iPhone. The iPhone's phone number is activated along with your Apple ID. -

Thanks!This happens when you are using the same Apple ID for iMessage. To fix this you have two choices:
On all but one of the phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID. Note: you can still share the same ID for purchasing in Settings>iTunes & App Stores; or
On all of the phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and uncheck the email address(es) shown under "You can be reached by iMessage at". Also uncheck anyone else's phone number, if present. -

You can disassociate your phone number with your iMessages/Apple ID by turning off iMessages. Go to Settings -> iMessages -> Turn off iMessages. Wait a couple of hour to fully have your number unregistered with iMessages.

Try Mail>Preferences>Accounts icon>Account Information tab>Click on the Outgoing SMTP server drop down, choose edit Server list, highlight the old one & click Remove.

Guys this is absolute rubbish feature of the login application where people's login names get recorded in the dropdown menu. Is there any more permanent way of getting rid of this annoying privacy intrusive "feature"? I would like to have a profile with a username that is not going to appear at airports and my grandma's laptop after I log out of skype and no I do not want to go digging for app files to remove my entire history on each and every machine I use as suggested by your help files. On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. If you are doing it on an iOS device (iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch) then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.
